This dissertation is carried out on behalf of Two i Sverige AB. Two is a consulting agency which primarily works with the development of homepages. The company has several of its complete applications written in ASP e.g. the development of homepages. At the agency they have seen benefit migrating these applications from ASP to the more flexible environment ASP.NET.

By studying literature concerning design, didactics and reflection, and complementing those explorations with interviews with experienced design educators, this thesis challenges the idea of aesthetic media education being purely aesthetic in its characteristics. Drawing from their own experiences as a media aesthetics educator and an industrial designer, the two authors argue that the work flow used within most fields of design, commonly known as the design process, might provide a suitable didactic alternative to a field of education lacking relevant methodology. The literature study offers a better understanding of the design process and how it may be defined and viewed within an educational context. The interviews provide a more practical insight into the world of design education. The result shows that the design process as a didactical method theoretically offers both elements of critical thinking as well as direction and frames for students lacking aesthetic and artistic experience.

This study examines the possibilities of interpreting the moral values and ethics presented in the current curriculums in a way that makes them inclusive and constructive. The study also reveals how the liberal democratic ideal, presented in the curriculums as a hyper-ideology, is not at all easy to define or live up to in the pluralistic school of today.By close-reading and criticizing the curriculum for the Swedish senior high school (Gy11)and by looking at it from two different points of views, as rules or norms and as a process, Ishow how the curriculum can be interpreted as a basis or starting point for a communicationabout values. I also discuss wether the aim of this communication should be consensus or anongoing process..

Syftet med det här utvecklingsarbetet har varit att pröva olika metoder att arbeta med dansimprovisation på gymnasieskolans estetiska program dansinriktningen. Jag har upplevt att detofta har varit svårt i början för eleverna att släppa hämningar och krav och att våga utforskaegna rörelser i tid, rum och kraft. I det här utvecklingsarbetet prövades som metod tre olikauttryck: rörliga bilder, en text eller ett musikstycke. Därför var jag nyfiken på hur elevernaupplevde de olika estetiska inspirationskällorna och om någon kunde öka elevens motivationatt arbeta med dansimprovisation. Samtidigt ville jag knyta ihop några moment ur kursernascentrala innehåll med förhoppning om att eleverna skulle få en ökad förståelse för denSkapande processen i dans.

SammanfattningI denna uppsats valde jag att göra en undersökning med syftet att beskriva och förstå varför lärare i förskolan och skolan anser att man ska jobba med estetik. Vidare ville jag också beskriva och förstå vad lärarna i förskolan och skolan anser att barnen ska lära sig och utveckla genom estetiken, och även hur detta bör gå till, dvs. vilka metoder de använder för att nå målen.Som undersökningsmetod använde jag mig av kvalitativ halvstrukturerad forskningsintervju och jag intervjuade fyra lärare med olika lång erfarenhet inom området.Genom arbetet med detta examensarbete (genom läsandet av litteratur och mina intervjuer) har jag bland annat kommit fram till att estetisk didaktik handlar om att barnen är delaktiga och får inflytande i sitt eget lärande och sociala utveckling. Estetiken öppnar många dörrar för barnen och de får lära sig att det finns flera olika sätt att lära och ta till sig kunskaper på. I estetiskt lärande är också ofta den lärande processen viktigare än målet, alltså på vilket sätt man får kunskaper.

I det rådande informationssamhället där utbytet av information och digitalt material har blivit mer framträdande än någonsin tidigare har även upphovsrättsfallen kring dess användande och återanvändande blivit allt mer aktualiserade.I denna uppsats har vi sökt att studera hur normer kring skapande och originalitet har påverkat kreativa aktörers syn på återanvändning och rekontextualisering under det senare 00-talet och tidiga 2010-talet.Genom att utveckla metoden interkontextualitet har vi studerat hur människan och hennes kognitiva processer influerar rättsfall som rör just deriverade verk och/eller rekontextualisering.Den digitala tekniken har fört med sig nya normer kring skapande tillika hur information förmedlas mellan människor, vilket resulterat i förändrade konsumtionsmönster och en remixkultur där individuella verk inte ses som statiska enheter utan som levande, sammanlänkade uttryck. Kognitiva processer kan ha bidragit till denna remixkultur och i sin tur mer generaliserade attityder från mediadistributionsbolag och myndighetsorganisationer.Med bakgrund av detta söker vi att förespråka en mer öppen syn på de interkontextuella samband som binder kreativa verk och deras bakomliggande kreatörer till varandra. Att se kreativa uttryck som en del i den globala meme-pool,där människor tillsammans bygger vidare på vårt kulturella arv, kan vara ett steg i att motverka skadlig egoism kring det egna skapandet..

Lean Production is used by many manufacturing companies. Companies in process industries do not use Lean Production to the same extent today. This is part of the report's issue to explore how Lean Production can be applied to a company in the process industries.The investigated company is a processing company that manufactures various types of foil. The company wishes to streamline its production and has therefore asked the authors to examine if Lean Production can offer the company improvements in their production. Lean Production value stream mapping tool has been selected to identify and analyze the current state of two of its products in production.

The aim of this study is to increase understanding about addiction recovery. More specifically, we want to know what people who have had problems with alcohol and/or other drugs perceive as helpful and important for their recovery process and how we can understand this process.The study was conducted by means of qualitative semi-structured interviews with four people who have had alcohol and/or other drug problems. The analysis is based on a transtheoretical model of change from addictive behaviours, coping, interactionist theories and also a recovery perspective, inspired by research on recovery from mental illness . Main findings are that recovery from addiction can be understood as an individual process that takes place in a social context and can follow expected phases, although there are large individual differences in the process. Through the recovery process it has been of importance to the participants in the study to redefine themselves and their problems, get support from others, find ways to cope with their problems, get involved in meaningful activities and to expand their social roles.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the rise of the Tea Party movement in the United States. By using a known theory within social movement studies, the political process theory, this thesis look into the factors that could have played a role in the rise and fast mobilization of the Tea Party movement. The political process theory consists of three parts and hence looks into both the political structure of, in this case, the United States, how mobilizing structures have been used and into the cultural framing used by the Tea Party to create their identity. In order to bring structure to the thesis, the three theory parts have been transformed into analysis models. These give a very good idea of all the factors that could have played a part and therefore also a good way to describe the rise of the Tea Party movement.The research confirm what the political process theory says, that the Tea Party movements rise came at a time when there were a mix of factors at play, both structural and cultural, creating an opportunity that the Tea Party took.

A Road project?s frame is built up of a decision- and consultation process, where the results of the preparatory studies are being discussed. The aim with a consultation process is that all theopinions and knowledge from the operators' will be taken into count in the basis of information, that is needed in order to the different involved operators' to take a decision.The aim of the essay was to investigate how the decision- and consultation process for a road project, the E4 section between Uppsala Läby, turned out. The aim is also to bring up how theprocess could have been done more correctly. The study was carried out through a qualitative method with an analysis of materials from the National Road Administration's archives, the associated Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and through interviews of the different operators.My theoretical basis has been a Stakeholder Analysis and its principles, and theory about different executions of social planning.The result showed that the decision- and consultation process has been bursting in democracy and consideration taking of the different operators' opinions, has been poor from the developer?s, in this case the National Road Administration's, side.

Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån ett socialkonstruktionistiskt perspektiv och ett Foucault-inspirerat diskursanalytiskt ramverk visa på några av de sätt att tala om och förstå den bildterapeutiska processen som finns tillgängliga för och används av bildterapeuter. Syftet var även att beskriva hur dessa sätt att tala kan påverka bildterapeuter i det bildterapeutiska arbete de bedriver. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer med bildterapeuter. I resultatet lyftes tre distinkta sätt att tala om processen fram, som gav den tre olika innebörder. Dessa tre diskursiva konstruktioner framställde den bildterapeutiska processen som en blottläggande process, som en experimenterande process och som en reflekterande process.

This essay captures the process toward a democratic transition in South Africa and tempts on analyzing the efforts made by civil society before the negotiation with the government in the beginning of the 90´s. The method used is a case study.By applying the theory of Elisabeth Jean Wood about the importance of continued mobilization, I try to answer the question: to what extend did civil society influence the democratization process. The focus of the study lies on the years of intensified popular mobilization, from the start of the 80´s until the beginning of the 90´s.The results following this study shows that COSATU, Congress of South African Trade Unions) and ANC(African National Congress) played both a crucial role for the democratization process in South Africa. UDF, however played a role in the process, but not in the same significant way that COSATU and ANC..

Syftet med vår studie är att beskriva elevers uppfattningar om manlighets- och kvinnlighetsnormer, för att ge oss ökad förståelse för pojkarnas skapande av könstillhörighet. Upplägget i vårt arbete var inledningsvis en litteraturstudie. Efter detta lämnade vi ut en enkät därefter gjorde vi observationer och avslutningsvis en analys av elevtext. Vi har genomfört vår studie på en F-5-skola och en F-6-skola i Luleå och Sundsvalls kommun. Vår studie visar att traditionella könsnormer förekommer i undersökningsgruppen..

The process of producing a video game is one that goes through a number of phasesduring the span of the entire production. One of these phases is the concept design phase,which is part of the pre-production.
