Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att beskriva barnets emotionella omvårdnadsbehov i den förberedande fasen inför operation. Vidare var syftet att beskriva sjuksköterskans metoder vid förberedelse av barnet för att skapa trygghet.Artikelsökningarna genomfördes på databaserna Elin@dalarna och Cinahl med sökorden operation, preoperative, children, preparation, information, nursing, care och nurse. Sökorden fanns i artiklarnas abstract. Artiklarna var vetenskapliga, skrivna på engelska och publicerade år 1997 till 2007. Endast primärartiklar söktes och deras relevans bedömdes efter titel och abstract.

Abstract CORDIC (Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) is an iterative algorithm for the calculation of a two-dimensional vector in circular, linear or hyperbolic coordinate systems. This paper presents a survey of known CORDIC algorithms and architectures for the rotation and vectoring mode in the circular cordinate system. In addition an implementation of the differential CORDIC algorithm in VHDL has been done. Sammanfattning Mål Litteraturstudien har som syfte att undersöka om diabetes anses kunna vara en kontraindikation för implantatbehandling, dels på kort och lång sikt. Alla typer av diabetes (typ 1 & typ 2) inkluderas i studien samt alla typer av implantat. Material och metod En sökning i databasen PubMed gjordes 18 April 2012 på bestämda MeSH termer. Sökningen resulterade i 186 artiklar. Artiklarna granskades på titel, abstract och fulltextnivå och dubbletter sorterades bort.

ABSTRACT Within migration and globalization the concept of ethnic identity, religious identity and belonging have come to play a significant role in both immigrants? lives and as well in social context. Sweden, as a multicultural society has been dealing with different ethnic groups of immigrants and the way these minority groups perceive themselves to be and how they are perceived by others in the society has also come to be of high importance. There has been a lot of debate in media about mathematics teaching in grade school in Sweden. Many students experience that mathematics in grade school is abstract, which leads to decreased interest of mathematics in early years. An international study indicates that Swedish students in class 4 do not fulfill the mean for mathematics according to EU/OECD countries. The study also shows that Sweden practice a textbook driven education, compared to other countries. The aim for this study was to find out how a few pedagogues for class F-6 teach mathematics, and why they have chosen to educate the way they do.

AbstractParental participation is something that is included in school either we like it or not. Several studies have been done about this phenomena but not many of them have examined the pupils estimation about parental participation. Therefore did we get interested about the pupils situation because why haven?t almost anyone asked the pupils about this phenomena when it?s constructed fore them? To learn more about the pupils estimation did we a questionnaire in twelve different classes with children in the ages between 10-16 years. Abstract Syftet med min studie är att undersöka pedagogers syn på läs- och skrivsvårigheter, och hur de förhåller sig till detta. Undersökningen har utgått ifrån kvalitativa intervjuer, där jag har intervjuat två pedagoger och två specialpedagoger som har erfarenheter av läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Resultatet av min undersökning visar att pedagogerna anser att det är viktig att tidigt upptäcka elevernas läs-och skrivsvårigheter för att sätta in åtgärder. Undersökningen visar också att pedagogerna anpassar sig efter individen och elevens behov. För elever med läs-och skrivsvårigheter är det viktigt att arbeta på olika sätt och använda olika metoder och hjälpmedel..

Abstract The purpose of this work is to investigate children?s perception of Swedish birds. Through qualitative questions there were twelve children interviewed. I showed the pictures for the children of different animals that we discussed but with focus on birds. The children could partly distinguish which of the pictures that represented birds and who did not.

AbstractThis act is about how five children with dyslexia consider and understands their diagnosis. It is also about their self-image, future sights and about how their school life is compared with before they got their diagnosis. The study is implemented autumn 2011 on a medium-sized school in central Sweden. The survey was implemented through interviews with the five children, of which four was girls and one was a boy. The study shows that the children understand their dyslexia relatively well, but that they experience that it is bothersome to live with dyslexia.

AbstractThis study deals with preschool children's ideas about water in our body. Ten children with the age of four to five were interviewed individually, the interviews were qualitative. The children were also asked to draw their answers and answer questions about a picture that represented the excretory system. The results of my study show that children did not have any knowledge about the water being vital for us. Preschool children had no knowledge of why it is important to drink water.

AbstractThis study is based on qualitative interviews with five-year-old children from a nursery school and two teachers with great experience. The purpose with the interviews is to find out what knowledge these children have about the Right of Common and what the teachers think they need to find this knowledge.The children didn't know what the word Right of Common stands for but when they got more concrete alternatives they had good experiences. The two teachers had different opinions about what is the most important concerning the stays in the nature. Exercise meant a lot for one teacher. To have fun and to use all your senses were more important for the other one.

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to get increased knowledge of how teachers motivate and teach youth about existential questions at junior highchool. My issue for this composition is to find out how ? and how much ? teachers in fact teach about existential questions in the religious education.I interviewed four teachers at junior highschool, with various experiences. One teacher had about thirty years of experience in teaching, and one teacher was quite young and unexperienced.The result indicates that the youth were interested in a lot of existential questions. The study also indicates the teachers view of youth?s identity-work and their existential questions.The resultat is compared with studies of Dahlin, Hartman and Sjödin..
