Syftet med undersökningen är att se hur arbetsförmedlare i Norrbotten upplever invandrarnas situation på arbetsmarknaden, samt hur de upplever att arbetsgivarna bemöter invandrarna vid rekryteringen. Kvalitativ metod har använts och arbetsförmedlare runt om i länet har intervjuats. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna är olika begrepp samt in- och ut-grupp och dekvalificeringsteorin. Undersökningen visar på att fördomar och diskriminering förekommer, men att det mest handlar om rädsla och okunskap hos arbetsgivare. Språket ansågs som det allra viktigaste verktyget för att ta sig in på arbetsmarknaden.

Föreliggande systematiska litteraturstudies syfte var att beskriva anhörigas upplevelser och deras omvårdnadsbehov då en familjemedlem vårdades palliativt i hemmet, för att skapa en förståelse för vad sjuksköterskan kan bidra med. Sökord som valdes var palliative AND relative* AND home för insamling av vetenskapliga artiklar via fulltextdatabasen Electronic Library Information Navigator (ELIN) och databasen Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health (CINAHL). En systematisk kvalitetsgranskning gjordes på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar enligt modifierade kvalitetsgranskningsmallar efter förlagor av Forsberg och Wengström (2003) och Willman et al. (2006) och på basen av kvalitetsresultatet evidensgraderades de anhörigas till familjemedlem i det palliativa skedets omvårdnadsbehov. Tre omvårdnadsbehov som vilade på starkt vetenskapligt underlag framkom: att få professionellt stöd, att få avlastning som anhörig eller anhörigvårdare till en familjemedlem som vårdas palliativt i hemmet och att få information och undervisning om familjemedlemmens situation.

Att drabbas av obotlig sjukdom och invänta döden påverkar en person på många sätt. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva en persons upplevelse av att som obotligt sjuk invänta döden. En självbiografisk bok analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i sex slutkategorier. Resultatet visade att sjukdomen och den väntade döden förändrade personen så att livet inte kunde levas som förut.

The aim of this study is to explain and try to get an understanding for how women who are partners to substance missusers handle their lifesituation. To fulfill the aim of the study a qualitive method is used with a focus group as a data collection method. The theoretical framework is coping theory and system theory. The results show that women who are partners to substance missusers describe that they have a lifesituation filled with stress and worry. Because of their situation the women create and adjust their behaviors.

When a child is diagnosed with diabetes the whole family is affected. The effect of the illness often means drastically changes to their daily life. The aim of this study has been to describe the experiences of the parents´ having a child fallen ill with diabetes. The study has been done as a general literature study. The procedure has been to systematically search, critically investigate and summarise results from different studies made on the chosen area of subject.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur lärare upplever sin situation i skolan, och om situationen förändrats de senaste 10 åren. Då flertalet tidigare studier om lärare är kvantitativa så genomfördes denna undersökning kvalitativt med öppna enkäter där 11 lärare deltog. Dessa lärare var alla verksamma på samma grundskola. Resultatet visade att 10 av lärarna upplevde stress och tidsbrist i sitt arbete och många ansåg att en stor del av detta berodde på ökad dokumentation och pappersarbete. Många upplevde stress över att inte hinna med eleverna i den utsträckning de skulle önska.

I have investigated the political culture of post-communist Russia. For a long time it has been assumed that, the history is of great importance in shaping the political culture. I wanted to find out if this was true, I chose to study the political culture of Russia. How great effects had the autocratically legacy of Soviet Union in the democratisation of Russia? My thesis show that the role of history isn't of such great importance, instead it's the Russian state that has had the greatest possibility of shaping the political culture of Russia but it failed.

Kolorektal cancer är den tredje största cancerformen och det är en patientgrupp sjuksköterskor kommer att möta. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva personers upplevelser av att leva med kolorektal cancer. Elva vetenskapliga artiklar samlades in och analyserades med manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att livet fick ett avbrott, Att få stöd är viktigt, Att behandling och symtom skapar känsla av oro och Att kämpa mot sjukdomen. Det beskrevs som en chock att få sin diagnos och osäkerhet genomsyrar hela sjukdomsperioden.

There is desire to evaluate the tracheal diameter in the Swedish population of English Bulldog, a breed with breathing disorders, and if possible use it as a criteria for breeding in the hope of improving the life situation for these dogs. The Swedish Kennel Club has together with the Swedish Club for English Bulldog and veterinarians presented a five year radiological study that has the purpose to give an average look on how the tracheal situation is in the population. The trachea will be evaluated through two different methods, both measuring two distances in the thorax. The first one compares the tracheal diameter to the height of the cranial opening of the thorax, and the second one to the width of the third rib. With the measured distances one will calculate a quotient and compares it to the reference values.This study is designed to get a preliminary evaluation, based on the 65 dogs that were available on the time for the study, with measurements done by two persons on three different occasions each.

The aim of this study is to, from a child?s family relations, describe the usage of terms relating to factors of risk and safety in science and in investigations concerning children in need of protection. It is also of importance in what way the terms are used when the Social Services suggest that measures should be taken, and in which way the children have been heard in the investigations.The issues raised in this study are: (a) How is the current life situation and life quality of the children discussed? (b) The value of factors concerning risks and protection. (c) How is the children?s own descriptions taken in to consideration? (d) Is gender issues considered? (e) How is Lagerberg?s model (Lagerberg, 1998) useful in investigations?The method of analysis is mainly qualitative however it is combined with analysis of literature relevant to the study.

In this study we examined co-workers experiences of having a previous colleague as their leader, which is relatively common. We made qualitative interviews with six social welfare administrators who had been through this situation at work. The questions had been concentrated at how they were affected by the previous relationship, what expectations they had, and their view of how the business had been handled by their leader. The result of these interviews has then been connected to two leadership theories. The conclusion of the study was that the experience of the situation differs.

This essay is about the staff in integrated homes very complex profession and this is illustrated through twelve interviews in five integrated homes for disabled people. The profession changed when the institution closed and especially when the Law of Support and Service (LSS) was introduced in 1994.The purpose of this survey is to study how staff works with LSS intentions in integrated homes for disabled people and to increase the awareness about the structure of power and how this affects the daily life for those who live there.The main objective in this survey is to find out which the differences that lie between LSS intentions and the work that take place in integrated homes for disabled people. This survey tries to illustrate when and why these differences occur. This survey has a multidisciplinary perspective, where three models of disability and theories from Foucault, Sibley and Wendell have been included. The result shows that the staffs work is difficult, full of responsibility and has many facets.

This essay investigates the results of participation by teenage girls in feminist groups, the so called girl groups. These groups are descendants of the awareness-raising groups of the 1970?s feminist movement. The essay assumes the relevance of theories of heteronormativity and performativity, as well as theories surrounding two different ways to organize girl groups. It is done either through the Pippi-feminism, named after strong independent book character Pippi Longstocking, or through the collective empowerment feminism.

Studien är genomförd i en mindre kommun i Norrbotten med cirka 17.000 invånare där långtidsarbetslösa ungdomars situation har undersökts i syfte att beskriva och analysera vilka möjligheter och förutsättningar ungdomarna har i sin arbetslöshet samt hur de handlar för att ta sig ur den. Analysen utgick från den teoretiska referensram som legat till grund för studien samt respondenternas beskrivningar av sina upplevelser gällande möjligheter, förutsättningar, samarbetet med Arbetsförmedlingen samt den ekonomiska situationen. Jag har utgått från den kvalitativa metoden i min studie då den ger möjlighet att studera de långtidsarbetslösa ungdomarnas upplevelser och tolkningar av sin egen situation. Intervjuer har utgjort den huvudsakliga datainsamlingen där jag genomfört sju enskilda intervjuer. Resultatet visar att ungdomarna upplever sin situation som arbetslös som både aktiv och spänd.

Academic research concerning how to determine the power situation in a supply chain where an investment product supplier is involved did not exist. Therefore new models has been developed that analyses the power relations and maps out the power situation in a supply chain. In the future these models can be applied on similar cases by modifying the included parameters. The new models show that case company FAS should focus on the big producers of garbage bag which are Trioplast, Rullpack and Miljösäck. By strengthen the brand FAS can make more money in these relations.
