För många personer som drabbas av hjärtinfarkt är det en traumatisk upplevelse och det kan också förekomma problem i dagliga livet lång tid efter infarkten. Syftet med studien var att analysera och beskriva upplevelser av att drabbas av hjärtinfarkt utifrån levd erfarenhet. Datamaterialet har utgjorts av självbiografier och analyserats med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalysmetod. Samtliga självbiografier var skrivna av män. Resultatet utgörs av fyra huvudkategorier; Insjuknandet, Vårdrelationen, Behov och Bemästring.

Nano materials can today be found in a wide range of consumer products and the number of new products on the market is expected to inrease. In the shadow of hope for nano materilas potential in various applications, low awareness of its health and environmental risks is hiding. Furthermore, the knowledge about people´s risk perception of nano materials is limited. Parallel to the situation described above, the scholls meet the challenge of incrasing the scientific literacy. To achieve this goal, skills in argumentation in science studies has been emphasized and the concept of socio-scientific issues has been emerged.

This study looked at two groups of adolescents aged 12-17 years who had participated in circus training. One group had some form of disability while the other had none. The study was carried out as a qualitative study with observations, interviews and a questionnaire used as methods of gathering data. A small part of the study was quantitative and an observation chart was used. The purpose was to examine the importance of teamwork, environmental factors and the necessary requirements during a learning situation.

The purpose of this research was to find how supervisors in the care of elderly experience their leadership in everyday work and their view on the factors which are important for their leadership. In the research a qualitative method has been used to do interviews with six supervisors and to do analysis of material. By the help of literature studies, I explained leadership. Result of the study indicate that leadership concerned supervisor should prepared to do the right thing in every situation and to find best solution of different situation that come up on the work. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.

Democracy is now a legitimate claim not only in the society but even in the classrooms. According to the 1994 Curriculum for the Non-Compulsory School System, Lpf 94 in Sweden, are all pupils in all types of schools ought to have a high level of possibilities to be able to influence their education. Syftet med vår studie var att se hur stor andel elever som enbart hade problem med matematiken och komma i kontakt med dem för intervjuer. Genom intervjuerna ville vi ta del av elevernas syn på sin situation: vilka problem de upplevde, hur de ville bli bemötta samt i vilken miljö eller situation de arbetade bäst. Via en enkät, riktad till matematiklärare som undervisade år 5-9 vid två skolor, täcktes ett elevunderlag av ca 800 elever in. Genom lärare som sade sig ha elever med svårigheter i matematik kom vi i kontakt med elever som sedan intervjuades. Eleverna tycker att matematik är ett viktigt ämne, de vill lära sig trots de svårigheter de har i ämnet.

Denna uppsats handlar om hur äldre bosniska kvinnor uppfattar sin situation som äldre här i Sverige. Mitt mål har varit att se bortom de stereotypa uppfattningarna om invandrare som kulturellt avvikande grupp. Genom att göra en kvalitativ studie och lyssna på deras egna berättelser fick jag en djupare förståelse för deras livsvärld. Jag har redogjort för hur deras situation ser ut i praktiken, vilka behov de har, hur de ser på sin framtid och sin omgivning i det nya landet. We believe that the preconditions for education and learning are changing; technology and Internet has introduced new tools for the learning situation. To examine this we will describe how the wiki technology can be used in the information seeking education, describe how the goals of the information seeking education are reached when using a wiki and lastly investigate the school librarian?s pedagogical role in wiki-based education.

Syftet var att undersöka om människor empatiserar olika med individer med ett känt kriminellt förflutet jämfört med de utan. Deltagare var 218 högskolestudenter från Mellansverige. Undersökningen bestod av berättelser där huvudkaraktären antingen var tidigare kriminell som begått vålds- eller skattebrott, eller icke-kriminell och befann sig i en svår eller lindrig situation.

Syftet med föreliggande studie har varit att undersöka vad unga arbetslösa med utomeuropeisk bakgrund anser om sin situation och sina framtidsmöjligheter, för att få en ökad förståelse om deras situation och upplevelser.Undersökningen har byggt på kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer med sex respondenter med utomeuropeisk härkomst i åldrarna 16-25. Därtill framkommer det en efterlysning från dessa individer av en annorlunda individanpassad arbetssätt för minoritetsgrupper med handläggare med kulturkompetens, för att följaktligen skapa bättre förutsättningar till arbete för dem..
