Epilepsi är ett tillstånd som uppkommer vid okontrollerad elektrisk aktivitet i hjärnan. Personen drabbas av ett så kallat epileptiskt anfall, vilket kan leda till ett frånvarande beteende, förvirring eller medvetslöshet. Orsaker till varför man drabbas av epilepsi kan vara ärrbildningar på hjärnan, yttre skador som slag eller trauma. Epilepsi innebär för många personer en stor förändrad livssituation.Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa upplevelser av att leva med epilepsi samt behovet av stöd. Metoden som användes var en systematisk litteraturstudie som omfattade tolv vetenskapliga artiklar.

The purpose of this study was to develop two types of prediction models for Scots Pine and Norway Spruce. The first type for calculation of the stump diameter under bark the year the tree reached breast height (Dstubh130). The second type for calculation of the annual difference, e.g. the number of growth years between stump height (0.2 m) and breast height (1.3 meters above ground level). Background: Being subjected to an extensive burn injury affects the victim´s physique, social life and its psyche. A burn injury can be determined as a trauma. Burn injuries often make the patient suffer from pain, anxiety and lack of a social life. Sister Callista Roy´s theory was used to analyze the result of the study. One of her goal is to promote the adaptive function of self-perception.

Climate change is an increasingly widely known concept. In the EU the construction sector is responsible for more than a third of the carbon dioxide emissions and 40 % of the total energy use. In Sweden, measures have been taken to prevent this climate change. By 16 targets, three of which can be linked to the construction sector, Sweden will reduce the negative trend. None of the three goals with relation to the construction sector will however be achieved before 2020.

Background: In today's Swedish health care, it is required that the various professionals must work together in teams to safer care. Several professionals with various skills expected working together in the traumateam at the care of the traumapatient. At the same time, research shows that substandard teamwork leads to avoidable errors in care. One way to improve teamwork is to practice. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to shed light on the experiences of the traumateam exercises that exercise participants feel has been favorable for the patient at the initial care of trauma patients.

I detta examensarbete har vi valt att forska om krigets inverkan på barn vilket blev vår utgångspunkt till syftet. Syftet blev att undersöka vad två pedagoger och en psykolog berättar om krigets inverkan på traumatiserade barn från krig. Vi har i litteraturöversikten presenterat olika faktorer som kan påverka barnens utveckling som exempelvis trauma, posttraumatisk stress och kris. Vi har även valt att presentera olika pedagogiska och psykologiska metoder som visar på hur man kan bearbeta barnens traumatiska upplevelser. Vi valde att intervjua två lärare och en psykolog för att ta del av deras erfarenheter kring arbetet med traumatiserade barn från krig.

If well-functioning waste management systems were developed, this could master some of the problems. Fallstudien genomfördes på fyra av Peabs projekt och frågeställningen besvarades med hjälp av kvalitativa och kvantitativa metoder i form av intervjuer och enkätundersökningar. Vidare undersöks produktivitetspåverkande faktorer såsom kommunikation, motivation, kompetens och samarbete. To be able to perform the study, a telephone survey was made to find out what estate owners want and what they are missing on a forest site. The survey can be summarized at following conclusion: The marketing of AB Karl Hedin website must be stronger The forest owners want more information on forest business, prices and forestry services.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva föräldrars upplevelse kring när deras barn befinner sig i det terminala skedet av svår sjukdom eller trauma, och av den palliativa vård de erhåller. Ett ytterligare syfte var att kvalitetsgranska artiklarna utifrån datainsamlingsmetod. Metod: Den föreliggande litteraturstudien har en beskrivande design. Sökningar gjordes i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl med sökorden child, parent, experience, palliative care och death. Tretton artiklar valdes ut och bearbetades. Huvudresultat: Det framkom att föräldrar upplevde att vägen mot att förlora ett barn var en kaosartad och känsloladdad tid.

Att vara drabbad av en katastrof kan innebära både fysisk smärta och psykiskt lidande. Sjuksköterskor måste känna till eftereffekter från ett trauma och veta hur de skall bemöta dessa människor på bästa sätt. The Vaxholm conflict was initiated when the Swedish Trade Union for Construction Workers shut down a construction site in order to prevent a Latvian construction company to build a school after the two parties had failed to agree upon a collective agreement in compliance with Swedish regulations. An emotional public debate followed that resulted in a discussion of the proposal for the Services Directive of the EU, based upon the country-of-origin principle. In this thesis we will analyze whether the country-of-origin principle or the country-of-destination principle is best suited to capture the gains-of-trade that the common market hoards and improve welfare within the EU. We conclude that the country-of-origin principle is the more apt of the two, though it leads to some short-run costs such as structural unemployment. But these will be more than outweighed by the gains in aggregate welfare for the EU in the long run..
