The use of Power Line Communication, PLC, as a communication solution for Automated Meter Reading, AMR, is popular by utilities in Sweden and other parts of the world due to demands of accurate and fast meter reading. However the use of the electrical grid as a communication medium is complex and sometimes problematic. This report handles some of the issues and problems that are important to understand when using the grid as a communications medium. Focus is mainly on investigating high frequency distortion in the Kristianstad power grid own by C4energi caused by a frequency converter. Measurements on site are done to investigate signal damping in the grid, different configurations for the frequency converter and signal strength of the PLC-system.

Learning study (LS) och Variationsteorin representerar ett nytt sätt att se på barns lärande,vilket kan ge förskollärare redskap för hur det pedagogiska arbetet kan organiseras kring ettvisst innehåll. Betydelsen av att definiera lärandeobjekt lyfts fram och därmed även detintentionella lärandet, dvs. att klargöra vad barnen ska ges möjlighet att lära. Syftet är attutifrån ett LS-projekt studera om och i så fall på vilket sätt Variationsteorin kan bidra till attskapa goda förutsättningar för lärande i förskolan. Resultatet av ett LS-projekt analyserasmed fokus på förskolebarns lärande i betydelsen kvalitativa förändringar i barns sätt attbeskriva lärandeobjektet - Vad är en skugga?Resultatet visar att LS-modellen och Variationsteorin fungerar väl som pedagogiska redskap iförskolan.

The purpose of my study is to examine how four teachers reflect on free play and controlled play in preschool. What are their reflects concerning free play, controlled play and children?s development and education. The main focus of this research is the experiences of the teachers and I compare their perspectives against each other regarding free and controlled play.To be able to realize this study, I propose the following questions:What kind of vision does the teacher have concerning free play and controlled play?According to the teacher, how does playing affect the children?Which development areas are affected by participating in the play?This is a qualitative study, based on interviews with four teachers from two different preschools.

På alla arbetsplatser uppstår konflikter som kan hanteras med hjälp av de fem strategierna konkurrens, samverkan, kompromiss, undvikande och anpassning. Vilken strategi som används beror till stor del på situationen och hur individen bedömer konsekvenserna. På arbetsplatser kan ledare ha ett transformellt- och transaktionellt ledarskapsbeteende eller ett låtgå-ledarskapsbeteende. Syftet med studien var att undersköka relationen mellan ledarens beteende och konflikthanteringsstrategin i arbetsgruppen. Enkäter som bestod av frågor om bakgrund, konflikthantering och ledarskapsbeteende lämnades ut på två företag i Mellansverige samt som länkar på två diskussionsforum på Internet.

Syftet är att undersöka hur anställda på Volvo Car Corporation resonerar om en utbildningssatsning med blandade utbildningsformer. Fokus läggs på aspekter som anses främja respektive hindra lärande i de olika momenten, i synnerhet det datorbaserade utbildningsmomentet. Teori & tidigare forskning Undersökningen utgår från ett handlingsteoretiskt perspektiv på lärande och begreppen lärandevillkor, handlingsutrymme, anpassnings- och utvecklingsinriktat lärande, inre och yttre motivation samt förändring används för att lyfta fram viktiga aspekter i utbildningssatsningen. Tidigare forskning berör undersökningar om fördelar och nackdelar med användandet av e-learning och blended learning. Metod Ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt tillämpades i form av semistrukturerade fokusgruppsintervjuer med elva anställda inom organisationen.

The purpose of this examination was to find how supervisors interpreted the termsvocational identity and vocational culture, found in the diploma goals in workplace-based learning at the Child- and Recreation Programme. To reach the purpose, I formulated questions that I answered through a qualitative study. I made six interviews with pre-school teachers who had been supervisors for students at the Child- and Recreation Programme. The informants answered the same questions and the answers were recorded. The result of the study showed that the supervisors made a fairly consistent interpretation of the terms.

Laboratory work is a big part of chemistry education in high school. During our student training placement we have noticed that the laboratory work is not fully utilized to develop students´ chemistry knowledge. This problem made us want to investigate how the laboratory work in chemistry could be set, to become more meaningful for students. We introduced two preparation methods, and examined the outcome of students learning experiences and their acquisition of chemistry knowledge. This was examined both through surveys and observation.

Study aimed to see if the language has bearing on mathematics learning. The study used qualitative interviews of three first grade teachers and one special education teacher.The questions asked was:Do the teachers and specialist teacher, at the selected schools, think there is a connection between language difficulties and difficulties in mathematics and in case how is this connection.How does the teachers / specialist teacher make it easier for students to learn mathematics and swedish.The study was based on Vygotsky and Piaget teories. In previous research, it is primarily Malmer, Hoines, Lowing and Kilborn who´s been treated. Within the governing documents, it is mainly the compulsory school curriculum Lpo-94, and the curriculum for mathematics treated.I hope that the study has conclude that there is a connection between language and mathematics learning.I tried to emerged this through interviews with tree teachers and one special teatcher but i couldn´t. The teatchers couldn`t fint that it was the only reason to why the pupils hade difficulties in mathematics.But in the literature I found the relation between language- and mathematicdificulties..

The purpose of this paper is to examine teachers' approach to popular culture in preschool. The questions we want answered are: What approach do educators have to popular culture in preschool and what underlies that approach? Is there a high - and low culture in preschool? If educators bring popular culture into the preschool, how then is it used? Do children?s culture influence everyday life in preschool? We have employed qualitative methods to seek answers to our questions. We conducted seven interviews with educators from four different preschools. The starting point for our study was the socio-cultural perspective because we examined people's cultures and how the meeting between them unfolds. We concluded that educators have a very ambivalent attitude towards popular culture in preschool.

This thesis is divided in to two different parts. The first part includes examination of the measurementsystem of an industrial robot using a resolver sensor. The main focus is on methods for suppressing noise in the angularvelocity signal without increasing timedelay. Five different methods are investigated. Three of these are based on oversampling: burstsamplingmethod, meanvaluemethod and correlationmethod.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain insight into educators? views and work with circle time in preschool. To find out, I have referred to the following questions: How is your circle time performed in preschool? What objectives have teachers with the circle time? What impact has your circle time for the children in preschool?I have chosen to carry out qualitative interviews with three preschool teachers. After the interviews, I compared the educators? response to previous research.The survey shows that the circle time is one of the day´s highlights for preschool children.

BakgrundFör att revisorn ska kunna ge aktiebolagets intressenter en rättvisande bild över bolagets finansiella ställning krävs det att revisorn innehar hög kompetens inom området och är objektiv i sina bedömningar. För att revisorsnämnden ska kunna säkerställa att revisorn besitter de kunskaper som krävs för att genomföra en revision av hög kvalité behöver revisorn avlägga ett kunskapsprov. Mellan åren 2006 och 2012 var det omkring 50 procent av tentanderna som blev godkända på revisorsexamen, därför fann vi det intressant att undersöka vilka bakomliggande faktorer som påverkar tentandens resultat på revisorsexamen. SyfteSyftet med vår studie är att få en djupare förståelse om vilka faktorer det är som kan ha en större inverkan för tentandens resultat på revisorsexamen. Vi har därför valt att undersöka följande faktorer: branscherfarenhet, utbildning, självstudier, motivation, trivsel på arbetsplatsen, mentorskap och lärande, kontorsstorlek, ålder samt kön. Teoretisk referensram Under teoriavsnittet presenteras McClelland prestationsteori, Herzbergs dubbelfaktorteori samt Argyris Single and Double loop inlärningsteori. Dessa teorier förklarar vad tentanden motiveraras av och ökar trivseln i det dagliga arbetet samt hur tentandens inlärning sker.

Idag går utvecklingen mot alltmer distribuerade IT-system där en grupp datorer kommunicerar med varandra. Detta gäller för sökmotorer, beräkningsintensiva miljöer och även för den svenska försvarsmaktens ledningssystem.För att systemen ska kunna kommunicera så flexibelt som möjligt vill man ofta att kommunikationen ska ske enligt standardiserade protokoll vilka är oberoende av datorplattform, programmeringsspråk och transportprotokoll. Ett koncept som kan användas för denna sorts kommunikation är Web Services vilket är ett koncept där meddelanden skickas XML-formaterade över valfritt kommunikationsprotokoll.För att möjliggöra utbyte av känsligt data som inte får nås av obehöriga måste kommunikationen stöttas av ett flertal viktiga säkerhetsfunktioner. En av dessa funktioner är användarautentisering vilket innebär att användarens identitet kan verifieras.För att möjliggöra användarautentisering kan digitala certifikat och asymmetriska kryptooperationer användas, denna typ av operationer är prestandakrävande varför ?Single Sign On? eftersträvas.

The aim of the "Green forest management plans" is to help forest owners to reach the environmental goal of the forestry act. But are they able to do that? Is it possible to plan preservation of species on single estates? How do single-estate-plans differ from a landscape analysis and how can the landscape approach be used in operative planning? This work was initiated to give an answer to these questions. This study was made in a landscape of 4200 ha in Östergötland county, south-eastern Sweden. A lanscape analysis was made and then compared to the Green forest management plans in the same area. The nature conservation areas (areas that were set aside to be managed with environmenatl goals) differed quite a lot between the two alternatives.

The purpose of this study was to gain a clearer picture of how after-school-care teachers? work with fundamental values in after-school care, both practically and theoretically based on the curriculum Lgr 11. I wanted to acquire a broader understanding of the school's core values and what kinds of tools teachers used to cope with their task. I proceeded with two questions:How does after-school care proactively work with core values based on gender, ethnicity and class?How does the work on value issues at after-school care centers compare with Lgr 11?In my study, I used literature studies and a qualitative analysis of five interviews with afterschool care teachers.
