The ability to handle potentially dangerous and hostile situations on a military vesselrequires that the equipment works effectively with the personnel that use it. It is importantthat this equipment can be used by different people. An operator on a military vesselshall be able to handle information about hostile threats, navigation and the steering ofunmanned vehicles. A operator console should therefore be constructed in such a waythat the operator can handle a large flow of information. And the information given bythe technical system should be displayed correctly to facilitate the operators ability tohandle and interpret the information correctly, in order for the operator to make thecorrect decision at any given moment.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera om och i så fall hur intern employer branding i form av personalförmåner inverkar på medarbetarnas arbetstillfredsställelse och därmed deras benägenhet att stanna i företaget samt hur företaget kan nyttja personalförmåner för att behålla och attrahera medarbetare.I denna fallstudie, som genomförts i ett företag inom bank- och försäkringsbranschen, har datainsamlingen gjorts genom individuella intervjuer, fokusgruppsintervjuer, dokument, statistik samt ett skattningsformulär. Denna data bearbetades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Slutsatsen är att intern employer branding i form av personalförmåner påverkar medarbetarnas arbetstillfredsställelse positivt både indirekt och direkt. I och med det främjar förmånerna medarbetarnas benägenhet att stanna i företaget och vilja att tala gott om arbetsgivaren. Förmånerna skulle dock kunna ha större inverkan på medarbetarnas arbetstillfredsställelse om de kommunicerades ut mer effektivt. Medarbetarnas benägenhet att stanna beror dock inte enbart på deras arbetstillfredsställelse utan även på hur de uppfattar sina alternativ, d.v.s.

Föreliggande studie syftar till att undersöka vilka sociala faktorer som påverkar elever som väljer att studera Estetiska programmet Bild och Form på gymnasiet. Genom en kvantitativ metod har en enkätundersökning genomförts vilket har kompletterats av offentlig statistik från Skolverket. Enkäten har delats ut till två klasser som studerar utbildningen Estetiska programmet med inriktning Bild och Form på en kommunal gymnasieskola. Genom att utforma en omfattande enkät har även elevers sociala bakgrund samt framtidsplaner inkluderats i undersökningen. Resultatet visar att elevernas subjektiva upplevelser av faktorer som inverkar i valet främst är deras fritidsintressen, utbildningens utbud av praktiska kurser samt att utbildningen är högskoleförberedande.

En kvantitativ metod i form utav en enkätundersökning kommer att användas.Teorierna Corporate social responsibility, produktutveckling och produktdesign kommer att användas. Utifrån enkätundersökningar kommer empirin att samlas in. Attribut som täthet, stabilitet, lossningsförmåga och miljö är viktiga för konsumenten.

Vi vill även ge företag konkreta råd för framtagandet av en strategi inför skapandet av en företagsblogg. Vi har använt oss av en abduktiv ansats med kvalitativ metod för att angripa uppsatsens ämne. Vår teoretiska referensram består av litteratur, tidningsartiklar och vetenskapliga artiklar om bloggar och sociala medier. Vi har även använt oss av ett fåtal internetkällor. Vi har använt oss av primärkällor i form av intervjuer samt sekundärdata i form av ett seminarium.  Baserat på vår analys har vi formulerat råd som vi anser vara användbara för företag som är intresserade av att starta en företagsblogg. Råden fungerar bra som grund för att forma en strategi för bloggande..

The main purpose of this Master Thesis has been to investigate issues concerning apple fruit quality in orchards of Äppelriket Österlen. The goal has been to develop a document, for future benefit towards growers and company management in the production of high quality apples.In order to investigate main issues of fruit quality, focus has been on statistics concerning apple varieties, age of the apple trees, new planting, orchard size and growers opinions. Nine growers have been interviewed to investigate opinions and contribution of different growing techniques to increased fruit quality. The investigation showed high age of the trees in production and low rate of planting of new trees. Differences in fruit quality were highest between small orchards. Most growers were satisfied with their fruit quality and with their own measures made to improve it.

Det här kandidatarbetet syftar till att undersöka Stockholms tunnelbaneförorters konfigurationer av urban form utifrån frågan om vilka trafikslag som prioriteras genom följande frågeställningar: - Vilka konfigurationer av urban form kännetecknar biltrafikorienterade- respektive kollektivtrafikorienterade stadsdelar? - Gynnar Stockholms tunnelbaneförorters konfigurationer av urban form ett visst sätt att resa? Metoden för studien är en analysmodell för urban form i förhållande till trafikprioritering som tillämpas på de fyra tunnelbaneförorterna Vällingby, Skärholmen, Akalla och Skarpnäck.

Nearly 50 years after the building of the first million programme neighbourhoods many Swedish municipalities faces an extensive restoration work in these neighbourhoods which during their relatively short lifetime have acted as a target for a large amount of criticism. Öster in Gävle is a million programme neighbourhood that has gone through an extensive restoration between 2001-2009 with the aim of improving the living environment. Improvements have been made in the outdoor environment, to the facades of the houses and the entrances? of each building. The purpose of this study has been to investigate the effects of the renewal in the physical outdoor environment for those who live in the neighbourhood.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a relatively common endocrine disease in dogs and is more common in certain breeds than others, e.g. Nordic spitz breeds. Within the Swedish and Norwegian Elkhound population, female dogs are almost exclusively affected. The hypothesis in this study is that Swedish- and Norwegian Elkhounds develop DM during the progesterone phase of estrous (diestrous or pregnancy). Medical records from 51 female dogs of the breeds Swedish and Norwegian Elkhound were studied.

Abstract Cucumber is the second most frequently consumed vegetable after tomatoes, 33 % are eating cucumber every day. The purpose of this work is to examine if there is any product development of cucumber in Sweden, and if so in what way. A questionnaire was used with a number of questions regarding quality, origin, supply and the way cucumbers were used, and the person was also asked to choose between the normal large cucumber and the minicucumbers. This was answered by totally 100 persons in two different stores, ICA Maxi in Löddeköpinge and a discount store with a large supply of fruit and vegetables and where a large share of customers are immigrants, Özen All Frukt in Malmö. The results from questionnaire show that in some of the issues the results vary a lot between the two stores.

The purpose with this study is to examine how the media coverage of the train accidentoutside Kimstad, on the night of September 12th 2010, was framed in one local (Norrköpingsnyheter) and one national newspaper (Expressen) and how the coverage of the accident wasdifferent in the local newspaper compared to the national newspaper.The material is 12 articles within a fixed time limit which is from September 13th toSeptember 15th. The material consists of six articles from each newspaper.The method we use a qualitative text analysis with its basis in medialogic, news value andframing theory.In the essay?s analysis we show a synthesis of both newspapers coverage of the train accidentoutside Kimstad and how they stand in relation to the theory of news value and we end with aterminative comment about the results.The conclusion shows that the coverage of the event was different in many ways. Expressenuses a more dramatic framing and a more sensational language which describes the eventmore badly than it was. NT uses a more informative and objective information which almosttrifles the event but which informs about relevant information for the locals.

During the period called Little Ice Age (1400 ~ 1900) the climate of northern Europe was in an annual year-basis overall colder than it was before and after that period. The numbers of short, cold and rainy summers and long, bitter-cold winters where often repetitive under the approximately 500-years the period lasted. In Scandinavia, the coldest time during this period is estimated to have started around the end of the 16th century and lasted to the beginning of the 18th century. Trees growing at the tree-line are limited by temperature for their annual growth and hence showing differences of growth during changes in the climate,  a method called dendroclimatology. The variations of growth can be read in the tree-rings either by analyze the width of the ring or by look into the density of the wood and is used to reconstruct past climates.

AbstractSwedish tuition for immigrants (SFI) is a public adult education program in Sweden that was created in order to provide the immigrants with basic skills in Swedish. People with different backgrounds speaking different languages learn together how they should communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. For those who teach SFI it is important to know which factors have positive effects on the Swedish language acquisition. One of the questions to be asked is if the learning materials´ genre has any effect on the SFI students´ proficiency, in particular, oral proficiency. Scientists as von Franz, Vygotskiy and Bettelheim argued that fairy tales, as a genre consciously or subconsciously recognizable by all the people, present texts that are easy to acqiure.
