I dagens samhälle påverkas vi allt mer av bilder runt omkring oss. Trots det har bilden ett väldigt litet utrymme i skolan. Detta arbete tar upp hur pedagogens syn på bildämnet kan påverka undervisningen. Undersökningen grundar sig på intervjuer som genomförts med sex pedagoger som undervisar i bild och form. För att ge en helhetsbild av hur verkligheten är har de intervjuade pedagogerna olika utbildningar och undervisar i olika åldrar, allt från tidigt på lågstadiet och ända upp på högskolenivå.

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att göra en kartläggning av den svenska novellgenren för att konkretisera den så kallade novellboomen som uppstod under 1990-talets mitt och dess anledningar. Vidare undersöks den amerikanske författaren Raymond Carvers betydelse för novellboomen, för att konkretisera och utreda om det finns någon substans i påståendet om hans påverkan på den svenska novellistiken, eller om det istället handlar om en kritikerbaserad genretillskrivning. Detta resonemang förs utifrån de berörda författarna, vissa litteraturkritiker och några bokförlags ståndpunkter i frågan. För att kunna se om hypotesen stämmer eller inte har en modell eller ett mönster med de mest generella dragen för Raymond Carvers novellistik sammanställts. Dessa generella mönster har sedan jämförts med fyra novellister som debuterade under ovan nämnda period, för att se vilka likheter dessa texter och novellister uppvisar med Carvers karakteristiska drag.

This thesis work has been performed on request by SWT (Scandinavia WeldTech AB). SWT manufactures, develop and sell ready to assemble building systems for concrete rafter beam applications. The beams in this system consist of a u-beam that is welded to a flange. To be able to fill the beams with concrete there is holes in the beams top end. The holes are made in a ?punching machine?.  These holes are cut out and the remaining steel piece is bent down in the u-beam.

Was the word contact used as a keyword? The method of choice is a quantitative content analysis and the material consists of 20 different analysis units. These analysis units were collected from social media and Malaysia Airlines website. The quantitative content analysis is based on the theory Situational Crisis Communication Theory, taken from PR, Strategy and Application, Managing Influence, by W.

The bicycle is an individual means of transport. Many people prefer to cycle over short distances and in congested areas rather than take travel by car or public transport. This is a study of the use of bicycle as an option for commuting to work. It is a comparison between three cities: Stockholm, Copenhagen and London. The comparison is focused on solutions that benefit commuter cyclist and performed by studying cycle policies and other related documents.

Denna uppsats handlar om vilka kommunala åtgärder som kan få människor att välja cykeln i större utsträckning med utgångspunkt från Uppsala stad. Metoden är kvalitativ i form av en mindre enkätundersökning med invånarna, en intervju med en trafikplanerare och en litteraturstudie av såväl vetenskapliga artiklar som kommunala och statliga dokument. Fokus ligger både på direkta och indirekta åtgärder som främjar cykling i form av infrastruktur och beteendepåverkan. Eftersom undersökningen utfördes i början av december kom en relativt stor del av uppsatsen ta upp vilka åtgärder som kan få personer att välja cykeln även på vintern. Grundläggande för att göra cykling attraktivt är ett koordinerat och mångfacetterat arbetssätt samt den aktivt förda politiken inom områden som transport, markanvändning, stadsutveckling, miljö och parkeringsnormer.

Vi ser ett problem som finns, att många drar sig för att definiera begreppet kris. Vi har funderingar kring hur man kan hantera någonting som många inte ens vill definiera. Mer specifikt undrar vi hur en utbildnings form och innehåll kan förstås och beskrivas i ett ämne som ingen gärna definierar.Vårt syfte med denna studie är att bidra med kunskap om hur och varför krishanteringsutbildningar kan vara beskaffade på ett visst sätt, sett till form och innehåll. Vi har valt att vända oss till organisationer som i sin vardag möter många kriser. De frågeställningar vi vill svara på i studien är; hur krishanteringsutbildningen kan vara utformad sett till form och innehåll, varför utbildningen finns till och varför man har valt att utforma utbildningen som man gjort.

ABSTRACT The potato has had an important role in the Swedish dietary customs for quite some time. However, during the last forty years, consumption has decreased from 87 kg/year and person to 46 kg/year and person. Other products such as pasta, rice and bulgur are competing with the potato. Many of the competitors have been developed and refined while the potato has not changed much. The potato is still a bulk product while competing products have been differentiated. Stakeholders within the potato market has realized that something has to be done and today there are a number of organizations and networks that all actively work to preserve the Swedish agriculture and specifically the potato as a product. The purpose with this essay is to examine how store managers in the Swedish grocery stores view the handling of the potato in the store, the quality and packaging, marketing and future consumption.

The objective of this thesis is to examine which form value-adding qualities specific for the Web take and to what extent they exist in a selection of electronic scholarly editions of literary works. The examination was concentrated on the qualities hypertextuality, interactivity and hypermediality. Besides extent and form, the research questions focused on whether or not the form of the editions correspond to theories and guidelines about how electronic scholarly editions should be designed to generate an added value from a scholarly point of view. The empirical approach was qualitative and the selection consisted of 31 editions. They were examined according to theories about the value-adding features of the qualities.

My objective for this project was to create a short but thrilling 2D-animation intended as promotion for an online comic book. The purpose of the project was to learn more about animation and graphics, to further my artistic skills and to learn how to work in Adobe After Effects. I also wanted to learn more about scheduling, project methods and how to handle stress. During the ten weeks of the project I have created the story, the storyboard, the character design, the backgrounds and the animation. The voice over was recorded with the help of a fellow student who also made the music and the sound effects.

Risk-based sampling program of microorganisms in the water source in northern SwedenAfter several disease outbreaks caused by parasites in the drinking water during the last years, it is more essential than ever to insure that the water supply companies have enough barriers to counteract the presence of microorganisms in the outgoing water. It is also discussed whether climate changes such as increased precipitation can have a connection to the increased cases of parasites in water sources. The water source at Gäddvik is Luleå municipality?s largest and provides drinking water to 64 500 of Luleå?s 74 000 inhabitants. The investigation of microorganisms in the water source, especially in the Lule River has not been as prioritized as the sampling of chemical parameters.

This thesis investigates the Designated Operational Entities (DOEs) under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol. The DOEs serves as independent third-party auditors with the task of validating, verifying and certifying projects under the CDM. The majority of the DOEs are private entities. This is in line with the CDM objective of including the private sector in the climate change combat. The introduction of private entities in the role of DOEs can be questioned from a legitimacy point of view, but is corresponding to a development in international environmental governance where private actors are increasingly involved in governance arrangements.The thesis concludes the DOEs to be a form of public-private partnership and investigates the legitimacy of this form.

The bacterium Lactobacillus reuteri, which natural habitat is in the intestine of mammals and birds, uses glycerol as a substrate for production of the antimicrobial compound reuterin. Glycerol has been shown to decrease the number of Escherichia coli in human feces and it is believed to be due to in situ production of reuterin. E. coli belongs to the large family of Enterobacteriaceae, naturally occurring in the intestine, and pathogenic strains of E. coli have been shown to be one of several bacteria causing diarrhoea in calves.
