Afasi innebär en störning i språkfunktionen och är vanligt förekommande efter sjukdomen stroke. Vårdpersonal som saknar tillräcklig kunskap om hur kommunikation/interaktion kan genomföras med personer med språksvårigheter kan känna osäkerhet. Denna osäkerhet kan resultera i att dessa vårdare undviker personer med språksvårigheter eller avstår från att inleda samtal, vilket i sin tur leder till bristande vårdrelation. Studiens syfte var att belysa faktorer som främjar en god vårdrelation och kommunikation mellan vårdpersonal och personer med afasi efter stroke. Metoden som användes var litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats baserad på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar, vilka analyserades enligt en manifest innehållsanalys.

Syftet med studien var att göra en litteraturstudie vilken beskriver hur sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder förebygger komplikationer vilka kan uppstå vid måltidssituationer för patienter drabbade av dysfagi till följd av stroke. Studien genomfördes som litteraturstudie med beskrivande design, 12 vetenskapliga artiklar granskades och sammanställdes under tre huvudrubriker; Åtgärder för att förebygga aspirationspneumoni, Nutritionsstöd samt Kvalitetsgranskning av artiklar.Resultatet visade att många av sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder kunde minska risken att patienter med dysfagi drabbas av aspirationspneumoni. Det framkom en rad olika kompensationsstrategier och åtgärder sjuksköterskan kunde bidra med, bland annat intensiv munhygien samt stimulering av tunga och mun med is eller annat kallt föremål vilket stimulerar sväljreflexen. Andra åtgärder var rätt sittposition och anpassad konsistens på mat och vätska samt kosttillskott. Resultatet i föreliggande studie visade att utbildning inom förebyggande omvårdnadsåtgärder var nödvändiga för att rätt matningsteknik användes och att kostrekommendationer följdes, samt att det fanns ett lämpligt instrument för sjuksköterskans kompetens vid screening av dysfagi.

AbstractTitle: Serial recall of two-voice lists: Words are not perceptually organized by voice.The present study examined how voice affects the perceptual grouping of words in short-term memory that are auditory presented. Three different voice-lists were used: single-voice, alternating-voice and split-voice. In single-voice lists all words were presented in the same voice. In alternating-voice lists words were presented alternately in a male and a female voice. Finally, in split-voice lists words were presented grouped four and four in a male and a female voice.
