A great amount of todays drivers? are constantly exceeding the speed limits on the roads. As a consequense of this, a large number of speed redusing devises, for example speed bumps, has been built around the country. As reports in local medias point out, the acceptance for these types of speed reducing devises, differs and there are many thoughts about location, construction and effect on the traffic safety. This paper approaches the complexity of these problems from the drivers? point of view, based on literature studies and a questionnaire. The goal is not to argue for or against speed reducing devises, but to try to find the source of annoyment and how to proceed further. Some of the problems turned out to be easy to fix, for example porly marked speed bumps.

As requested by the company Husqvarna AB, we have developed a prototype of an electrical start device to a chainsaw. This was done through the development of new details in Catia, which has been integrated with existing details. Electrical components have been purchased by HAB electronics. In parallel with the modeling calculations was done, which was the basis for determine dimensions and the choice of an electric motor and gears. Prototype 1 improved gradually and led to prototype number 2, which became the final result.

Det vi avsåg utreda i denna undersökning är mäns ökande intresse gällande shopping av kläder. I denna undersökning reflekteras det över att det finns en bristgällande utbud för män i lågprisbutiker.Det poängterades i undersökningen att männen fann det svårt att finna kläder utan att gå upp i prisklasserna.Fokus har legat på om det verkligen finns ett ökat intresse hos männen och hur butikerna bemöter det. Teorin vi har använt oss av, har påpekat att intresset har ökat och att de könsroller mellan män och kvinnor som alltid varit så självklara, inte är såstarka idag. Det poängteras även att butiker måste förstå sina målgrupper och att kvinnor och män är väldigt olika i sina sätt och värderingar. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ och kvantitativ undersökning i form av ett frågeformulär för män i åldrarna 15 -35 samt intervjuer med olika butiker.

The aim and goal of this work has been to design and implement a voltage reference network for a 12-bit PSAADC, Parallell Successive Analog to Digital Converter. A chip containing the design has been sent away for fabrication. Because of the long processing time, no measurement data are presented. The main specifications for the voltage reference generator is to generate stable reference voltages with low noise and a good PSRR. Efforts has also been made to minimize the power consumption..

Smartphone applications, or apps, are an increasingly important part of omnichannel retailing. While the adoption and usage of apps for communicating with consumers has grown exponentially over the past few years, there is little academic research in this area. The primary purpose of this thesis is to describe how the involvement in a product category affects consumers' intention to use a retailer-branded smartphone application during their shopping trip. Drawing upon recent IS-literature with models TAM and UTAUT, our results indicate that product category involvement constitutes an important factor on the intention to use a retailer-branded smartphone application. By viewing involvement as a multidimensional construct, our study shows that the degree of hedonic and expressive value a product cateogry provides consumers with has important effects on intention, and these relationships are not moderated by consumers' age.

The canine population has during it?s time with humans gone through at least 2 major genetic bottlenecks, the first when it was separated from the wolf, and the second when it was divided into different breeds. Among other things, this has lead to the accumulation of unwanted genes, such as genes causing disease in dogs. One such inherited disease is syringomyelia, which has proven to be more common than expected, especially in certain smaller breeds such as the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Syringomyelia in dogs is often a secondary condition caused by the malformation called occipital hypoplasia.

Anledningen till att vi blev intresserade av detta ämne, var att vi tyckte oss se en sammansmältning av tjänsteerbjudandets olika komponenter bland annat inom detaljhandeln. Därför ansåg vi att Field?s shopping- och upplevelsecentra, utanför Köpenhamn, skulle vara ett lämpligt objekt att studera på grund av att det är Skandinaviens största shoppingcentra samt det faktum att det är nyetablerat. Utifrån detta utformade vi vår frågeställning: Hur arbetar shoppingcentra strategiskt och operativt med att integrera upplevelser i sitt tjänsteerbjudande? Detta har vi valt att undersöka genom en kvalitativ fallstudie, där vi genomfört intervjuer, bildanalys samt egna observationer.

The release of green house gases and the environmental impacts humans have on the environment are huge and might cause irreversible changes to our earth. Meat is considered to have large impacts on the environment, especially beef meat and therefore there have lately been considerable discussions on the sustainable level of meat consumption and production. The main goal with this thesis is to study sustainable meat production and meat consumption in the county of Dalarna in Sweden. Indicators for sustainable meat production and meat consumption were developed and applied on three cases. Interviews were carried out with a municipality in the region that represents the consumer and three beef farmers that represents the producers.

SyfteSyftet med intervjuundersökningen var att ta reda på om eleverna medverkar i planeringen i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa och vad de kan påverka. Delaktighet har olika innebörder i olika sammanhang, delaktighet i yrkeslivet kan handla om arbetsmoral och delaktighet i skolan om integrering eller elevinflytande.Metod6 elever i åk 4-6 intervjuades i en ostrukturerad intervjuundersökning där de först deltog i en gruppdiskussion. Från dessa sex elever gjordes ett urval där tre elever fick medverka i en personlig intervjuundersökning för att ta reda på hur väl eleverna kände sig delaktiga och vilket inflytande de hade i skolan i planeringen inom ämnet Idrott och Hälsa . Vid intervjutillfället användes papper och penna.ResultatEleverna ansåg att läraren bestämmer det mesta i innehållet i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa. De aktiviteter eleverna hade varit med och planerat med läraren var olika lekar och bollsporter.

There are today large amounts of contaminated sediments in the Baltic Sea. These contaminants are the result of many years industrial activity where the contaminants have not been taken care of and just released out in the water. When ports want to dredge in their fairways and harbor areas the contaminated sediments need to be considered since they are a environmental risk. The development in this area has been slow and new techniques have just recently made its way into dredging operations in the Baltic Sea region. As a result of this there are no clear methods for implementing new techniques today.

Store managers and brand owners have realized the benefits of sales promoting activities in-store, which thus have become a common sight for consumers when grocery shopping. Using in-store displays, a brand?s sales can increase by more than 1000 percent. We believe, however, that displays can give rise to additional effects to those previous studies have shown. The purpose of our study was therefore to map possible side effects that a display can generate depending on the strength of the exposed brand.
