The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how six fantasynovels reflects or breaks the heteronormativity in society bylooking at how gender roles and sexuality are described.The theoretical framework is based on Judith Butler's theoryabout the heterosexual matrix which requires two separategenders and a compulsory heterosexuality and YvonneHirdman's two principles about dichotomy and hierarchy.The method used was idea analysis where dimensions basedon the theoretical framework were constructed. Thesedimensions were: behaviour, tasks, relationships and roles.The result shows that all of the books both breaks andreflects the society's values on gender and sexuality. Thereare some stereotypes present, for example that intuition isassociated with femininity and physical strength withmasculinity. However, the books also offer characters ofboth sexes that break the gender stereotypes, such asstrong women and emotional men.

På Folksam utförs vid starten av detta examensarbete ingen samordnad användbarhetstest vid design av företagets webbplats och dess applikationer. Arbetet med att utforma egna testanvisningar för användbarhetstest har precis tagit sin början och en grupp av anställda som ska ta på sig detta arbete har just bildats. Testanvisningarna utformas utifrån information som inhämtats under kurser, seminarier samt de anställdas egna erfarenheter. Syftet med det examensarbetet som denna rapport beskriver har varit att utforma en utvärderingsmodell som skall användas som mall vid användbarhetstest under utvecklingsarbete av Folksams webbplats. Den utvärderingsmodell som tagits fram under arbetet är en slags sammanställning av de riktlinjer som finns för utformning av interaktiva webbsidor som möter användarens krav på användbarhet.

Bakgrund: Arbetsgivare kan stödja de anställdas hälsa genom att erbjuda friskvårdsbidrag. Flera faktorer påverkar individer till att välja hälsorelaterade beteenden. Self-efficacy är en sådan faktor vilket innebär individens tilltro sin egen förmåga att klara en uppgift. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka relationen mellan self-efficacy och nyttjande av friskvårdsbidrag. Vidare undersöktes fysisk aktivitetsnivå och upplevt hälsotillstånd relaterat till dessa två faktorer.

Uppsatsen är en fallstudie. Den består av samtal med tre representanter från olika stora arkitektföretag med anställda landskapsarkitekter. Det här arbetet har präglats av funderingar om hur man gör för att strukturera kreativt arbete. Frågan som detta arbete sökte besvara var, hur gör yrkesverksamma landskapsarkitekter för att finna ordning och metodik i sitt kreativa arbete?.

ILS iteratively samples local minima by modifying the current local minimum and restartinga local search porcedure on this modified solution. This thesis will show how ILS can be implemented for MSA.

The purpose of this literature study was to describe how patients experience their quality of life while undergoing a pacemaker implantation. Searches were carried out in the databases Academic Search Elite, Ebsco Host, Pub Med, Pub Med Central, Science Direct and manually. Keywords used were quality of life, treatment outcomes, emotions, pacing and life. This resulted in nineteen peer rewieved articles that were selected for the study results. The results showed that patients undergoing a pacemaker implantation experienced an improvement in their physical health with increased functional status, more energy and strength.

Gambling about money is a frequent phenomenon in our modern community?s. The gambling has for some people resulted in a compulsive gambling. These consequences affects not only the gambler but also have impact on his or hers relatives. The purpose of this study is to describe how a small selection off relatives to persons with a compulsive gambling experience the gambling consequences in there life.

This is a study of the novel Mes mauvaises pensées (2005) by the French writer Nina Bouraoui. I use an intertextual comparative method, where I read the novel against three intertexts: Marie Cardinal Les mots pour le dire (1975), the David Lynch movie Mulholland Drive (2001) and novels and photographies by Hervé Guibert. Main focus is on the relation between body and language. Using the psychoanalytic theories by Julia Kristeva I examine the melancholy of the narrator in Mes mauvaises pensées. The melancholic subject mourns a Thing which is the unrepresentable archaic mother.

Arbetslösheten har en väsentlig roll för länders ekonomi och den rådande arbetslöshetsnivån har skapat en diskussion kring vilka faktorer som kan påverka arbetslöshetsnivån och vilka penningpolitiska styrmedel som kan användas för att leda arbetslösheten i ?rätt? riktning. Räntebeslut, inflation och hysteresiseffekter är några av de faktorer som tas upp för att förklara arbetslöshetsutvecklingen sedan den globala finanskrisen. Syftet är att analysera hur arbetslöshetsutvecklingen i Sverige har förändrats sedan den globala finanskrisen samt att analysera hur penningpolitiken kan ha påverkat arbetslöshetsutvecklingen. Med fokus på Sverige och åren 2007 - 2014 undersöks med hjälp av statistik och relevanta teorier den svenska arbetsmarknaden samt de beslut den svenska penningpolitiken tagit. För att jämföra den svenska penningpolitiken testas hur väl reporäntan har följt den styrränta som Taylorregeln föreslår. För att se hur väl produktion och arbetslöshet samvarierar genomförs ett test med hjälp av Okuns lag.

AbstractAim: The aim of this study was to investigate if treatment with ?dry needling? in myofascial triggerpoints (MTrPs) in the rotatorcuff muscles may affect impingement symptoms such as pain during provocative tests, shoulder mobility, and function. The research questions were: Does the value of pain change on the Visual Analog Pain Scale (VAS) between before and after treatment? Do the positive provocative tests for impingement change between before and after treatment? Does the active shoulder mobility change between before and after treatment? Does the self-rated function change between before and after treatment?Method: The study was a prospective randomized intervention study and 19 persons with impingement symptoms (mean ± standard deviation; 58 ± 18 years, and shoulder pain duration 3.9 ± 1.6 months) were randomized into two groups. The groups were tested before, directly after and 3 weeks after treatment.

Test har utförts för att jämföra två huvudburna displayer (HMD), Penny Interactive Glasses och Sony Glastron, med traditionella displaymetoder för att presentera information i stridsfordon. Testen innehöll ett antal scenarion kring två olika aktiviteter. Testen har utförts i en simulerad miljö bestående av ett antal datorer, en mock-up av ett fordon och en projektor. Testresultat har utvärderas med Nasa TLX, vilket är ett program för uppskattning av arbetsbörda. Enkla test utfördes för att se hur ljusnivån påverkade användandet av HMD utomhus och om enkla filterlösningar var tillräckliga för att lösa problemen. Fokus i testen låg på en HMD från Penny som hade några intressanta hands-free lösningar för att styra applikationer. En bedömning gjordes av hur väl dessa lösningar fungerade och vad, om något, som behövde förbättras för att detta skulle vara praktiskt användbart. Förutom att göra en bedömning av om HMD:er är en lösning som faktiskt underlättar arbetet i ett stridsfordon har vi också försökt komma fram till några förslag på hur de skulle kunna förbättras inom områden så som passform och användarvänlighet. Vi kom fram till att HMD-lösningar potentiellt kan fungera bättre än nuvarande lösningar om de används på rätt sätt.
