Uppsala är ett exempel på en kommun som enligt sin senaste översiktsplan ska eftersträva främjandet av stadsliv, något som jag har tagit fasta på i denna uppsats som behandlar en del av Svartbäcksgatan, mellan S:t Olofsgatan och Skolgatan, i centrala Uppsala. Detta gatuavsnitts läge samt stora utbud av målpunkter ger förutsättningar för ett ökat stadsliv, vilket skulle kunna uppnås genom att gatan byggdes om. Uppsala kommun planerar också en ombyggnad av gatan, vilket gjorde det extra intressant för mig att arbeta med Svartbäcksgatan. För att få reda på hur stadsrummens form kan påverka stadslivet använde jag mig av den danske arkitekten Jan Gehls forskningsresultat som de presenteras i hans bok Byer for mennesker. Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka hur Jan Gehls teorier om främjandet av stadsliv kan tillämpas i en gestaltning.

In East Africa live two species of Griffon Vultures; Rüppel?s Griffon Vulture (Gyps rueppellii) and African White-backed Griffon Vulture (G. africanus). One of the apparently most important factors limiting the population of these birds is food supply. Griffon vultures nest for eight months of the year, and are during this period geographically tied down to the nesting place.

Although we find personal gratification, like interpersonal communication, quick information and sharing feelings and experience with others by using SNS during a crisis, users also tend to be hesitant about the credibility of the Shared information. Alongside the user created content, we look to professional media experts and organizations as a guarantee for the veracity of the Shared information.

In claims for unfair dismissal due to alleged redundancy, the burden of proof should be Shared to enable an employee to have the cause of redundancy tried. In such a case, the employee should present evidence of an invalid cause ? such as personal reasons ? and the employer should account for the redundancy. With reference to their conflicting interests, the law favours the employer if the redundancy can be accounted for even if the employee maintains his or her position. This would have been reasonable practice if the employer?s evidence was subject to the same scrutiny as that of the employee but, as long as redundancy is considered a valid cause in itself, this is not the case.Redundancy does not come from nowhere, but it occurs when employers carry out their management decisions.

Bakgrund: Shared services är en strategi som innebär att en existerande verksamhetsfunktion, som tidigare varit spridd på flera olika platser, koncentreras till en enda enhet (center) inom en koncern. Det har blivit allt vanligare att koncerner väljer att upprätta ett SSC, avseende ekonomifunktionen, då det är ett sätt att effektivisera koncernens redovisningsprocesser. Till följd av denna utveckling har vissa revisorer påtalat problem kopplade till revisionen av företag inom en koncern som har ett SSC. Problem som kan uppkomma vid gränsöverskridande revisionsarbete är exempelvis bristande förståelse för lokala redovisningsregler och skatter samt språkskillnader som kan försvåra revisorns kontroll. Även problem rörande arbetsfördelning och arbetsinsatser kan behöva lösas.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the role of regional development planning concerning a regional perspective of green structure and to reflect on its future role. The target group of the study is foremost practitioners but also students of regional planning and development. Three questions are examined. 1) What view concerning green structure has the regional planning body of Stockholm County Council (RTK) communicated through the years? 2) Has this view contributed to generating a common understanding concerning green structure among the actors in the county? 3) Has this common understanding been referred to by actors in discussions concerning how this green structure should develop? The empirical material consists of documents from rtk, the County Administrative Board, the municipalities of the county, a network of ngo:s, as well as interviews with representatives from the above mentioned organizations.

Bakgrund och problem: Intresset för internprissättning som styrmedel har ökat i taktmed den ökande förekomsten av större divisionaliserade företag. Dessa divisionaliseradeföretag består ofta av flera enheter som har resultatansvar, annorlunda uttryckt kan sägasatt enheterna fungerar som företag inom företaget. När enheter handlar internt medvarandra så kan det med andra ord uppstå situationer där det krävs en intern prissättningför att tydliggöra hur de enskilda enheterna presterar. Det ligger dock en svårighet i attidentifiera en optimal metod för att sätta de interna priserna. I teorin framgår även att detej finns någon optimal metod för att sätta internpriser, utan företaget bör söka efter denmetod som bäst uppfyller det företaget ämnar åstadkomma med internprissättningen.

The functional connection between the building and the streetscape affects the city and its attractiveness. Stores located in shopping malls with their entrances facing internal walkways, creates segregation between the mall and the streetscape. This segregation implies that the shopping mall loses some of its attractiveness, which may result in a so-called Greyfield mall. The expression Greyfield mall is used for shopping malls that have lost its visitors. Competition from new modern malls and a lack of investments are examples of factors that influence the development of Greyfiled malls.

Metod Denna studie grundar sig på den kvalitativa metoden. En illustrationsstudie samt en flerfallstudie har genomförts tillsammans med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Organizations? desire to increase competitiveness, efficiency and flexibility has resulted in new conditions in the field of human resources. The new conditions have also created new roles and changing responsibilities for those working within human resources.The purpose of this study was to investigate how the implementation of Ulrich's model for HR transformation can impact on the human resource departments managerial support to first-line managers in the municipality of Uppsala. Today the municipality of Uppsala organizes its human resources based on the Ulrich's model, which divides the work into the units service center, the expert unit and business partners.

This report deals with activities that from a CSR perspective are considered to create a Shared value for a medium-sized construction company in Sweden. The CSR definition used in the report is the European Commission?s since it reflects the valuecreating aspects of CSR, in contrast to the traditional philanthropic aspect of CSR.Companies in the building construction industry have difficulties identifying activities that create value in society and in the company. The aim with the project is to, from a CSR perspective, identify and evaluate value creating activities in a building construction company. The activities will be evaluated with respect to competitiveness and how they can be implemented into an organization.

During a major part of modernity the concept of identity was something that in many ways was predetermined for the individual. People in general remained in the same social spheres as the generations before, Shared common religions and beliefs and where more or less bound to a geographic area. Identity and lifestyle was something that was adapted quite unreflected from habit and tradition. Though, during the cultural modernisation process that took place in the twentieth century, previous Shared patterns of interpretation vanished and became individual.  Finding references, constructing an identity and establishing a self became individual.

Background: Today, It?s not uncommon that international companies and organizations have a higher turnover than the GDP of developing countries. Consequently, this may suggest that the choices companies make in the context of their business has a great potential to influence the world from an economic, but also from a social and environmental standpoint. From this the notion emerged that companies have a responsibility, referred to as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A clear definition of the CSR concept is difficult to find, more than 37 different definitions has been identified.
