The purpose of this study is to investigate the managers? perspective on leadership in relation to the motivation of the employees by an example of a manning and recruitment agencies. This is implemented by framing of two questions; What kind of leadership can be identified by middle managers to motivate their employees? Which motivation factors are relevant to employees based on the perspective of the managers? To answer the question and identify leadership strategies and motivational factors and the relationship in between, we have conducted eight interviews with persons who hold a middle management position. Through a qualitative investigation we have been able to go into depth and had access to these managers reflections, thoughts and experiences.

In Sweden there are 560 000 disabled people over the age of 16, half of those are in use of some kind of mobility device.Living with a disability means that due to injury or illness you are having trouble functioning without devices or assistance in your daily life and has a big impact on the independence of the disabled user.The everyday life for disabled parents with young children are different depending on the type of disability and mobility device.Today there is no alternative to the stroller for the disabled user who use mobility advises. This causes problems when the disabled person on there own have/want to move the child.The following statement have been the cornerstone for this project: How to make it possible for a wheelchair user to move a child, in the 0-2 year, for longer distances with a focus on independence and safety for both adult children?Due the process, of industrial design, this question and problem have been solved during 10 weeks. The process have contained parts as meeting with users, analyzing, concept development, evaluations, mock-up making, testing, shape & color development etc. This in the end have resulted in a full scale model of the appearance of a proposed product.The result is a stroller witch can be connected to the users specific wheelchair due two one time adjustments.

Every plan and program decided on by an authority or municipality, where the environmental impact can be considerable, must be environmentally assessed according to Environmental Code, the Planning and Building Act (PBA) and the Regulation on Environmental Impact Assessment.The purpose of this study is to examine the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for The Region Development Plan for the Stockholm Region, RUFS 2010. The plan was approved by at that time the Regional Planning Office (Regionplanekontoret), which procured the process by consultants. RUFS 2010 includes two merged plans ie. a regional Development Plan (RUP) and the Regional Spatial Plan for Stockholm. It was necessary to establish an environmental assessment of RUP, but not for the regional plan.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor är genom författningar ålagda att utföra sitt arbete i enlighet med vetenskap och beprövad erfarenhet. Omvårdnadsforskning har ökat i omfattning men resultaten har inte omsatts i praktisk användning i lika stor utsträckning. Betydelse har sjuksköterskans inställning, typ av ledarskap, organisationens förväntningar men också traditionen av att inte betrakta sjuksköterskeyrket som akademiskt.Syftet med studien var att undersöka dels avdelningschefers, dels sjuksköteskors/barnmorskors inställning till forskningsanvändning samt att undersöka om skillnader fanns i utbildningsnivå, ledningsstöd och forskningsanvändning.Metoden var en beskrivande och jämförande tvärsnittsundersökning. Respondenterna bestod av samtliga avdelningschefer (n=50) anställda på tre landstingsdrivna akutsjukhus i Mellansverige och samtliga sjuksköterskor (n=284) på vårdavdelningar på ett av dessa sjukhus. Svarsfrekvens 79% respektive 63%.

A budget consists of figures showing how much a particular activity has access to during a given year. With a balanced scorecard, these figures and guidelines can be converted in to more easily understandable non-financial instructions for the employees. One of the most significant differences between the budget and the scorecard is that the budget focuses on short-term results while the scorecard focuses on long-term visions and goals. With a long-term thinking the leaders can  set more long-term goals and also make more well-planned investments which increases the possibility for the organization to evolve and become better in the long term. The work in project has been around since humans began to hunt in groups, building bridges or building of the Great Wall of China. In 1960- and 70´s, the word project got their value it has today. A project means a work done during a decided time, with decided economy and non-recurring nature (Jansson and Ljung 2004). The projects had a general analytical model. It was used for all projects the organization engaged.

This explorative study focuses on young, university attending males (22-27 years) and their understanding and pratice of the classic tail coat. It is based on five qvalitatively interpreted interwievs with a total of six participants, and through open questions regarding individuality and identicalness, limits and possibilities and inclusion and exclusion, a masculininty of a less contemporary hue takes shape. These conversations have revealed the tail coats potential of respresenting a male stereotype that can set a foundational and minimal standard for inclusion. Above this layer these males can then manifest and negotiate their masculine position in a homosocial hierarchy which decides the amount of passage, privilieges and confirmation of self- worth received for the wearer. These negotiation is performed by value bearing symbols (such as medallions, cordons and the like) allowed by the wearer and by the actions that systematically ensure that the lines of the tail coat are watched and unbroken.

Navtech är en internationell leverantör av flygoperationella produkter. Det här examensarbetet utfördes på en av deras produktionsavdelning som kallas Aircraft Performance, i Stockholm. Arbetet består av framtagning av en manual till en mjukvaruprodukt. Produkten är ett program som beräknar och presenterar flygprestandainformation för start och landning. Programmet tillhandahålls med två användarmanualer, Userguide och Prepages.

Forskning inom temporära organisationer har tidigare fokuserat på förtroende från projektledarens perspektiv, därmed fann vi det intressant att undersöka vikten av förtroende utifrån medarbetarnas perspektiv. Syftet med studien har varit att, med utgångspunkt från medarbetare i temporära organisationer, undersöka om projektledare behöver besitta vissa specifika egenskaper för att skapa förtroende. Vidare att undersöka om dessa egenskaper har en lika stor påverkan av skapandet av förtroende eller om det enbart är vissa egenskaper som anses vara grundläggande.Med en kvalitativ forskningsansats har vi genomfört elva semi-strukturerade intervjuer där insamlad data sedan har transkriberats, analyserats och diskuterats och jämförts med studiens teoretiska utgångspunkter. Vi kunde därefter urskilja vissa specifika egenskaper som en projektledare bör besitta vid skapandet av förtroende. Av insamlad empiri fann vi olika benämningar för egenskaper hos en projektledare som kunde kategoriseras.

Companies and projects often face the challenge of creating something new to increase their competitiveness. In this process of creating something new creativity is an important factor. By using a creative approach and utilizing creative processes new innovations emerges. An industry that has grown in recent years is the computer games industry. Competition is fierce and for the companies to succeed, the product need that extra something to make it stand out among all the produced games.The project manager's role in the creative process and the ability to be creative within a distance based company is not something highlighted by previous research.

Knowledge management syftar till hur ett företag hanterar kunskap i sin organisation och begreppet börjades användas på 1990-talet. Behovet av en väl utarbetad knowledge managementstrategi blir uppenbart då någon börjar eller slutar på ett företag. Det finns mycket resurser att spara om man på ett effektivt sätt kan ge den nyanlände kunskap och överföra kunskap till organisationen från den som ska lämna. Risk finns också att nödvändig kunskap går förlorad om någon slutar och tar med sig nödvändig information som då blir svår eller omöjlig att återfå.Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilka kopplingar som finns mellan knowledge managementstrategier hos en organisation och personalomsättningsstrategierna. Frågeställningen att besvaras är vilka knowledge managementstrategier kan ett kunskapsintensivt företag ha för att bäst hantera en anställds avgång eller ankomst? Genom litteraturstudier lades en grundförståelse för ämnet som sedan utmynnade i ett intervjuunderlag som ställdes mot två företag.

Dagens textilbransch karaktäriseras till stor del av snabbt föränderliga trender. Det råder en hård konkurrens på marknaden och kunden besitter i stor utsträckning en god kunskap och en medvetenhet, vilket ställer högre krav på det utbud som företaget erbjuder. Vidare har hemtextilbranschen under de senaste åren präglats av en ökad konkurrensnivå. Flera aktörer så som exempelvis stormarknader, färghandlare och byggvaruhus har utökat sitt sortiment med hemtextil och är därmed med och tävlar om hemtextilkunderna. I denna situation är det viktigt att ha ett välplanerat sortiment eftersom det bland annat speglar företagets affärsidé samt kommunicerar vad affärsidén erbjuder och till vem.
