The initial aim of the roll out of smart electricity meters in Sweden was to allow remote readings of the households? monthly electricity consumption for billing purposes. Since then the transition towards a smart grid has become a more prioritized matter. In the roll out of next generation smart meters more attention is therefore given to how the Distribution System Operator (DSO) can benefit from the meter through different smart grid applications. This study uses a qualitative research method to identify three general fields of application and 15 specific concepts corresponding to ways in which the DSO can create added value from the information provided by the smart meter.

The aim of this study was to acquire a greater understanding and knowledge about how care staff at houses with special services for people with intellectual disabilities think and work (handle situations) regarding sexuality. To achieve our goal we carried out nine semi structured interviews using an interview guide. These interviews took place in two different communities in southern Sweden. The theoretical perspectives that were used to analyze the result were Sense of Coherence, Scope of action and Normalization. The result showed that the staff considered sexuality a part of their work and a natural subject to talk about.

I dagens samhälle har ungdomar allvarliga hälso- och sociala problemrelaterade till sexuellt överförbara sjukdomar, vilket är en av anledningarna till varför undervisningen inom sex och samlevnad behövs. Elever får sin primära kunskap inom sex och samlevnad från skolan, men de uppger att de inte har någon användning för dessa kunskaper. Syftet är att undersöka elevers intresse inom sex och samlevnad i högstadiet, för att få en uppfattning om vad elever önskar för kunskaper inom området.Undersökningen genomfördes med två olika enkäter som 223 elever i högstadiet besvarade. Den första enkäten bestod av både öppna och slutna frågor och den andra enkäten bestod enbart av slutna frågor. Killarna i undersökningen ville inte läsa om "sexuella läggningar" eller ansåg att det borde tas upp i skolans undervisning.

The aim of this study was to describe how adolescents experiences their quality of life, and tocompare if there are any differences in how they experiences their QOL depending on wherethey live, big town or smaller town. The aim was also to examine how adolescentsexperienced their schooling. The study is empirically, quantitative with a descriptive andcomparative design. To measure quality of life a tried and tested instrument ? LifeSatisfaction Questionnaire (LSQ) was used.

När tonåringar utvecklar sin syn på sexualitet och samlevnad behöver de vuxenvärldens stöd och vägledning. Denna period av en människas liv präglas av upptäckande och utforskande vilket gör det betydelsefullt att ungdomar tillskansar sig kunskaper och utvecklar förståelse som bidrar till att de fattar hälsosamma beslut. Skolan fyller en viktig funktion i arbetet med att försöka ge alla ungdomar samma möjligheter till en god sexuell hälsa och är således en självklar arena för hälsofrämjande arbete. Syftet med denna studie är att ta del av pedagogers upplevelser av att undervisa inom sex- och samlevnad. Datainsamlingen genomfördes i form av sex semistrukturerade intervjuer med pedagoger inom olika undervisningsämnen på olika högstadieskolor i två kommuner.

Event marketing has during the last decade become a wide spread marketing method. This is because the marketing clutter has increased heavily during the past years and brands are looking for new ways to reach their target audience. The previously well accepted marketing measurement "satisfaction" has shown tendencies no longer to be sufficient for success in today's competitive marketplace. Therefore, the research has somewhat moved to the measurement "brand love" to explain differences in strategic consumer behavior. That is the background to why this report examines and answers the question if a brand through event marketing can enhance brand love.

 English abstract  The culture of hotel and restaurant work.Dangerous for apprentices and students?The study is based on a survey targeting 50 teachers at chef schools with good geographic distribution of 9 schools. Teachers answer questions on bullying and sexual harassment in the hotel and restaurant sector, and students practice shock in the meeting with the industry. Students face a hard and tough environment where it is expected that it will suffer a great deal of harassment and degrading treatment as part of a tradition. There seems to be a general but erroneous belief that the professional climate has improved.

The purpose with this qualitative interview-study was to try, from the carer´s point of view, to describe the meaning and the essence of the good meeting. The participants were selectively chosen and were all women of varying life- and professional experience. They were interviewed with four interrogative forms that dealt with the experiences of the meaning and the essence of the good meeting. The analysis of the contents of the four interviews produced five themes: the meaning and the essence of aware presence in the good meeting, the meaning and the essence of the personal alliance, the carer's need of being seen and getting appreciation, the courage to bring up insulting behaviors while still preserving the relationship, personal qualities of the care. Aware presence was to be a main theme through out the meeting.

Denna uppsats består av en kvalitativ undersökning som antog en induktiv ansats. Detta föll sig naturligt för oss eftersom vårt intresse av bröllopsindustrin och bröllopskoordinatorer gjorde att vi ville komma vårt problemområde nära och få en mer djupgående inblick, hellre än en bred bild. Den empiriska studien består av nio intervjuer med bröllopskoordinatorer runtom i Sverige och två nygifta par som har använt sig av en bröllopskoordinator vid planeringen av deras bröllop.Genom den teoretiska och empiriska analysen har vi kommit fram till att bröllopsplanering är en komplex och tidskrävande process som består av många detaljer. Bröllopskoordinatorer arbetar mycket med kundanpassning och behöver brudparens medverkan, mest i form av information om önskemål, för att kunna utföra sitt arbete och på så sätt ge bra servicekvalitet. På grund av att de arbetar nära med brudparen skapas nära och intensiva relationer till brudparen som dock oftast bryts efter bröllopet.

Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelse av sin sexualitet efter genomgången cystektomi med urostomi. Tjugotre vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier: att uppleva att information pre/postoperativt är betydelsefull för den sexuella anpassningen, att känna smärta, vara torr och trång i vagina vid samlag, att på grund av låg självkänsla och förändrad kroppsuppfattning inte känna sig sexuellt attraktiv. Resultatet visade tydligt att bristen på information angående sexualitet upplevdes negativ för de opererade kvinnorna då konsekvenserna gällde deras sexualitet. Resultatet visade även att de flesta kvinnorna upplevde någon form av smärta som i vissa fall även kunde försvinna med tiden.

RFSU är ett förbund som genom sexualrådgivning förändrar och befäster unga personers syn på kön och sexualitet. RFSU arbetar för jämställdhet och jämlikhet och för en öppen och bejakande sexual­rådgivning. Syftet med undersökningen är att studera huruvida RFSU når upp till målen för sin verksamhet vid utformningen av sexualrådgivningsbroschyren Sex ? på ditt sätt: om sex för unga. I undersökningen används kritisk diskursanalys (CDA) tillsammans med queerteori.

Valet av vårt ämne har framförallt sprungit ur att vi har sett en brist vad gäller problematisering kring sexuell identitet och socialt arbete. Vårt syfte med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur personal på behandlingshem ser på den sexuella identitetens betydelse inom missbrukarvård. Vi har dessutom intervjuat en psykolog på RFSL om hennes perspektiv på ämnet. I uppsatsen tar vi även upp hur man ser på sexualiteten och den sexuella identiteten i förhållande till kön, då vi har sett att kön och sexualitet är tätt sammankopplat. Vi har använt oss av kvalitativ metod och semistrukturerade intervjuer med två personer som arbetar på könssegregerad missbruksbehandling och två som arbetar på könsblandad.

Malmö, like many other bigger cities in Europe, faces a double undertaking when facing the challenges the future. Not only must the municipal be able to provide its citizens with welfare and a high standard of living, it must also establish a level of economic growth that allows the city to act as catalyst for the surrounding area. In order to provide the population with welfare and the economy with a qualified working force, these two challenges have been combined into one plan for the future called Welfare for Everybody. As part of this plan, new organisations have been created with the purpose collaborating with the social services office and support people in their transaction from welfare recipients to self-providing workers. The purpose of our thesis is to build on Michael Lipsky's classic work "Street-level Bureaucracy" and by conducting interviews with a number of front line workers study how they view their role, the client group and how they motivate the working line.

Kamratposten is a swedish magazine aimed at youth aged 8-14. They write about almost everything that concerns youth, all the way from dealing with loneliness to animals and celebrities. This study concentrates at how they write about love. With a qualitiative narrative analysis of the 12 articles that concerns love from the 2013 issues of Kamratposten, I have tried to answer the questions: - What narratives about love are being constructed in Kamratposten 2013?- How do they construct males, females and gender in their articles about love?What I found was that the hetero normativity, or the heterosexual matrix as Judith Butler calls it, was very strong in the articles.

Through discourse analysis of twelve Library and Information Science theses, covering the period between 1975 and 2007, this thesis examines representations of homosexuality and homosexual identities. By using queer theory as a point of reference aspects such as essence/construct, equality/difference, notions of gender and views on the historical and contemporary situation of homosexuals are brought to the fore in the analysis. It is shown how the material unequivocally posits the contemporary situation of homosexuals favourably in comparison to a past signified by prejudices and oppression. This can be seen as an implicit essentialism in the texts, though ambivalences open up the possibility that it in some cases may be only strategically used while explicitly adhering to constructionist views. In linking concepts of a homosexual difference to prejudices, frequently involving notions of inverted gender performances or sexual ?extremes?, the discourse of progression posits normalcy and assimilation as positive values.
