The purpose of this study is to incrementally, through a combination of various methods, examine the assumptions about the working economic outcomes that can be made based on planned ergonomic intervention in a department at Pfizer Health AB in Strängnäs. The study contributes to knowledge about how assumptions on OSH financial results can be made, based on planned ergonomic interventions. These assumptions were based on biomechanical calculations made on the basis of ergonomics measurements with inclinometer. The study is important because previous research has shown that poor work environment have a bad impact on the economy of a company in different ways. It can for example be negative impact on the company's productivity and quality of the units produced or the services provided.

Bakgrund: Psykisk sjukdom utgör en fjärde del av Sveriges sjukdomsbörda men fördomar mot personer med psykisk sjukdom är ingen ovanlig företeelse i dagens samhälle. Patienter med psykisk sjukdom har lika rätt till en god vård som alla andra. En grundutbildad sjuksköterska ska kunna vårda dessa patienter. Det framkommer dock att patienter med psykisk sjukdom inte har lika förutsättningar och hälsoutfall som patienter utan psykisk sjukdom. Patienterna upplever ett behov av trygghet och förtroende för sina vårdare men sjuksköterskor visar en tendens att agera annorlunda mot dessa patienter.Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors inställning till att vårda patienter med psykisk sjukdom i den somatiska slutenvården.Metod: En litteratursökning har genomförts för att skapa en översikt över vetenskapliga artiklar om grundutbildade sjuksköterskors inställning till vårdandet av patienter med psykisk sjukdom inom den somatiska vården.

The aim of this study was to investigate how the content of the syllabus for Physical Education and Health at Uppsala University correlates to selected parts of the core content of the Gy11 syllabus for Physical Education and Health 1 in Upper Secondary School. Furthermore we aimed to investigate the perceived competency of recently graduated and still studying teachers of Physical Education and Health within the selected parts of the core content.The selected parts of the core content are:Exercise, sports and outdoor activities that develop a comprehensive physical abilityThe adjustment of tension and mental training.The methods used were a qualitative comparative text analysis of the syllabuses for Physical Education and Health at Uppsala University and Gy11 Physical Education and Health 1 in Upper Secondary School, as well as a quantitative survey conducted with recently graduated and still studying teachers of Physical Education and Health.The results were that there is an obvious correlation between the content of the syllabus for Physical Education and Health at Uppsala University and the Gy11 syllabus for Physical Education and Health 1 in Upper Secondary School. Moreover the survey shows that the respondents felt confidence in their ability to teach exercise, sports and outdoor activities that develop a comprehensive physical ability. The survey also shows that the respondents felt less confidence in their ability to teach the adjustment of tension and mental training..

The purpose of this candidate thesis is to obtain an overall picture of how many prohibitions against owning or taking care of animals that were announced in Sweden in the years 2006-2008 and on what basis these judicial decisions were taken. What is the situation for the person behind the judicial decisions? Is there a so-called risk category where preventive actions to solve the problem can be taken at an earlier stage?The first Swedish animal welfare legislation came into force in 1944. Previously there was a law of 1857 that only prohibited the maltreatment of farm animals. In 1988 the existing animal welfare law was revised into an in principle new law (1988:534).As early as in the Royal Majesty?s government bill (1944:43) to the 1944 animal welfare legislation, there was a proposal that issued prohibition for those having been convicted of aggravated cruelty to animals.

The quality of health and care of our animals in the veterinary clinic is dependent on the veterinary nurse. Therefore it is important that the nurse has a good mental health and can provide this. Research shows that veterinarians are exposed to an elevated risk of suicide, moral stress, depression and anxiety. One of the factors contributing is believed to be exposure to euthanasia. The impact of euthanasia to veterinary nurses is yet unclear, as research focuses on veterinarians.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive neurological disease which causes a slow degeneration of the body. Living with this disease means being exposed to severe strain and every day could bring new losses. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis does not cause any harm to the intellect, the mind remains unaffected. The aim of this study was to achieve an understanding, and to shed light on the nature of positive life experiences of people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This literature study is based on detailed examination of three person's narrations taken from their autobiography and biographies.

The mental constructions of other places are based on impressions from everything that surrounds us in our everyday life, e.g. pictures, videos, texts and narratives. The tourism industry is especially influential when it comes to creating the image of before ?unknown places?. Furthermore, it has a tendency to embellish and idealize people and places located in what is commonly known as the Third World.

This thesis examines the relationship between OECD-DAC and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) within an aid efficiency context. The ability for these two actors to cooperate is highly important and determines the outcome for a major part of the development aid in the new millennium. The development agenda for the new millennium emphasizes aid efficiency as a key to a more successful aid, and this requires increased cooperation between all actors. The analysis made is a discourse analysis. The discourse of aid efficiency is analyzed, both its preconditions and results.The analyze finds out that there is a gap between OECD-DAC and CSOs in terms of how to handle aid efficiency.

Anorexia nervosa is a severe and multifaceted eating disorder generally found in the female population. Throughout anorectic starvation relationship related conflicts revolving round power and autonomy are bound to happen. For that reason the most crucial part of treatment should be to build a trusting relationship.The aim of this study was to describe relationship promoting strategies a nurse can use during care of anorexia nervosa patients. This literature study derives from a qualitative analysis of scientific articles. The findings indicate on five different strategies a nurse can use during care of anorexia nervosa patients.

Approximately one third of all patients in primary care have a psychosocial component to their illness that requires adequate professional treatment. However, primary care is insufficiently prepared for these patients. The aim of this case-study was to evaluate a pilot project in primary care offering psychotherapy as a treatment alternative. The data collected includes 1) data from 352 referred patients regarding demographics, diagnosis, treatment duration and pre- and post health status, 2) a patient-satisfaction questionnaire and 3) interviews with six therapists and five medical doctors. The treated patients improved significantly and showed a high degree of satisfaction.

Tidigare forskning har visat att svenska stridspiloter har uppvisat en anmärkningsvärt hög förekomst av depressions- och ångestsymptom, vilket både riskerar att minska effektiviteten hos de svenska luftstridskrafterna och kan innebära en fara för flygsäkerheten.Detta arbete syftar till att underlätta beslutsfattandet kring problemet genom att skapa ett bättre underlag för att förstå de bakomliggande orsakerna. Studien undersöker när under karriären symptomen uppkommer samt jämför mellan olika pilotkategorier för att skapa en bättre förståelse för hur problemen uppstår och därmed vilka åtgärder som kan vidtas för att förhindra detta.En kvantitativ enkätundersökning användes för att undersöka förekomsten av depressions- och ångestsymptom bland svenska strids-, transport- och helikopterpiloter under deras första fem utbildningsår. Enkäten baserades på HADS-skalan och skickades till 158 personer, varav hälften var piloter.Resultatet av studien indikerar att den höga förekomsten av depressions- och ångestsymptom uppkommer senare i stridspilotkarriären. Stridspiloterna uppvisade dessutom en lägre förekomst av depressions- och ångestsymptom än en icke-flygande kontrollgrupp. Dessa resultat pekar i sin tur mot att miljöfaktorerna spelar en större roll än de genetiska faktorerna vid uppkomsten av symptomen.

I vårt arbete utgick vi från följande frågeställningar: ? Hur ser coachers arbete med långtidsarbetslösa ut? ? Vad anser coacher vara de avgörande faktorerna för att en långtidsarbetslös ska få ett arbete? - En del coacher anser att de har lyckats få ut förhållandevis många långtidsarbetslösa i arbete. Hur skiljer sig deras arbetsmetoder från de övriga coachernas? För att få svar på våra frågeställningar använde vi oss av kvalitativ metod. Totalt ingick sju coacher i vår undersökning.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att beskriva vilka eventuella skillnader som finns mellan elever som går i hälsonyckelprofilerade klasser och andra vanliga klasser i deras beteende när det gäller hälsa. Genom FMS (Fysisk, mental och Social kompetensutveckling) har vi fått en inblick hur lärarna på gymnasieskolan jobbar med eleverna. Vidare har det gett oss en uppfattning hur vi som blivande idrottslärare kan andvända detta i undervisningen. Vi har använt oss av en enkätundersökning för att ta reda på elevernas inställning till hälsa och medvetande om hälsans betydelse. Dagens samhälle är på många sätt ett stressat samhälle som påverkar oss negativt på ett eller annat sätt.

The purpose with this report is to compare moose browsing in young stands within a small game preservation, and if there are any differences between two areas. The method used in the inventory is a local damage caused by moose browsing survey. It is suitable on areas that have more than 50 hectares but less than 250 hectares of young forest. Inventory of moose browsing is best done on bare ground in the spring and should preferably be done before the flushing begins at the pine. Orsblecks game management area is divided into two different moose management areas, Noppikoski and Siljansringen. During the winter Siljansringen has a denser winter strain of moose, because of the moose seek out lower parts with less snow during the winter. This should also lead to the southernmost part should accommodate larger proportion of damages caused by browsing by moose.

Konkret undersöks huruvida någon skillnad i vilka inkomster eller tillgångar som används till olika typer av utgifter kan påvisas.
