Grafisk profilering och identitetsskapande

This degree project has been done in parallel to the advertising agency Hera in Uppsala, and containsthe creating of a logotype and graphic profile for Aircall, a new big chain of shops dealing with telecommunication.Aircall was found 1 February 2004, when three smaller companies became one. Thisnew company were in need of a common brand and a uniform profile. The created graphic profile hasbeen applied to visiting cards, letterhead, envelopes, letter cards, bags, cars and advertisement. Thegraphic profile has also been used when designing the shop interior end exterior. Research has beendone on competitors graphic profiles and advertisement.

Förbättringsmöjligheter i en försörjningskedja under stark omvandling

Syftet med denna studie är att se vad som påverkar förbättringsmöjligheterna i en försörjningskedja. Detta har vi gjort genom att analysera ett terminal- och logistikbolag i Kiruna. Efter att ha gjort lite efterforsking kom vi fram till ett forskningsproblem (FP) och två forsknings frågor (FF).? FP: Vad påverkar förbättringsmöjligheter i en försörjningskedja?? FF 1: Hur påverkas befintliga och potentiella kunders önskemål om logistiklösningar i en försörjningskedja med hänsyn till miljöpåverkande effekter?? FF 2: Hur ser utvecklingsmöjligheterna ut för en försörjningskedja i en kontext under stark omvandling?Studien påvisar att det finns ett antal faktorer som påverkar förbättringsmöjligheterna i en försörjningskedja. Centrala begrepp i socialtjänstens LVU-utredningar : en dokumentanalys

The main purpose of this essay was to study how the social service and the lawcourt have implemented the UN Convention on the Right of the Child, particularly incorporating the childs best interest in social services, child welfare investigations and the lawcourts judgement. We considered how the needs of the child, and the will and view of the child was documented. Also how the parents capacity and the environment factors, were documented in the social services investigations and the lawcourts judgement. The study was based both as a literature study and a document analysis. We analysed ten child welfare investigations from a social service office and their belonging lawcourt judgements.Our conclusion of the study is that the child is in focus both in the investigations and in judgement.

Customer information is to be seen as an essential part in service development. The company should be aware of how their customers experience their services. The company can get access to customer information through complaints from their customers. All information obtained from the customers is not possible to use when developing new and existing services. The information has to be analysed before it is possible to use it for service development.This paper describes if Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) uses their customers as a source of knowledge when developing new and existing services and in that case how.

Våga se en förövare! :  - En jämförande kvalitativ studie om insatser för män som utövar våld i heterosexuella relationer

The aim of this study was to examine and compare two municipalities? approaches to deal with men?s violence as a social problem. Further the aim was to analyze social workers? opinions about interventions for men who practice violence in heterosexual relationships. The study has got a qualitative approach and we did a subjective selection where we chose to apply semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with domestic violence.

?Nej, men jag söker väl tills jag hittar?: En studie av discoveryverktyget Summon utifrån ett användarperspektiv.

The purpose of this bachelor?s thesis is to examine how students at Högskolan i Borås experience the web-scale discovery service Summon, based on the theoretical model of ?The Five Dimensions of Usability?, defined by Whitney Quesenbery. The study aims to answer the following research questions: How do the students execute search assignments in the Summon interface? How intuitive and easy to navigate is the system from a user perspective? What are the students? opinions about Summon, regarding usability?Five students with varying information seeking skills are asked to perform search assignments during controlled observation, followed by semi-structured interviews. Our findings are presented in the context of previous research and show correspondence with the results of related studies.

Åt var och en efter behov? Kriminalitet som markör för olika behandlingsalternativ

The aim of this study was to, using previously collected data from self-declared antisocial behaviour questionnaires, examine if the crime frequency has been different between adolescents that have either been referred to two different forms of open care in social service, child and youth psychiatric inpatient care or have been sent to Homes for Specialised Supervision. The criminality frequency and the most common crimes committed were compared between the study groups and further between genders in each particular study group. Statistical significance testing was used and the results of the survey revealed that juvenile delinquents that had committed severe criminal acts were represented in all four groups. The study group with adolescents in national care was the most different from other groups. These youths seemed to have had a lower crime frequency than the other groups with the exception assault and robbery.

The countryside companies meet some difficulties in marketing and communication with other entrepreneurs. A network with service based companies in the countryside could help the individual companies to promote themselves and also give inspiration and new ideas to develop their business. The aim of this study is to investigate how a countryside network can be organized but also what conditions is needed to make the network function. The theory is based on a literature study of the three major topics "countryside", "networking" and "marketing".

The company also want to reduce their expenses inthe continuous process of improving profitability. By choosing the right option oftransportation and mode of transport there are large potential savings for the company. Marknaden är mogen vilket innebär att transportbolagen måste erbjuda andra värden utöver själva transporten. Intäktsredovisning i tjänsteföretag ? En studie över olikheterna i intäktsredovisningen för onoterade tjänsteföretag med liknande tjänster

Laws, regulations and generally accepted accounting principles hold options on how companies should recognize revenue. Generally accepted accounting principles are determined by standard-setting bodies as the Accounting Standards Board and the Financial Supervisory Authority, which is influenced by international standard-setting bodies as the IASB. Service revenue is generally recognized when performance is completed, but there are variations in when a performance is considered complete. The different accounting options available create difficulties in comparing companies over time and between companies, which in turn creates difficulties to achieve a true and fair view. By clarifying what methods and principles in accounting for service income the unlisted companies in Sweden are using and why these differences exist, we have been able to study how the comparability and the true and fair view is affected by these differences.

Personer med annat modersmål än svenska och bibliotekets service : En attitydstudie på Ålidhemsbiblioteket i  Umeå

Syftet för utvärderingen är att, genom en enkätundersökning, försöka besvara hur nöjda besökare med annat modersmål än svenska är med Ålidhemsbibliotekets verksamhet. Utvärderingen utgår från två huvudsakliga frågeställningar: [1] Vilka är användarna i den aktuella målgruppen? [2] Hur upplever personer med annat modersmål än svenska biblioteket på Ålidhem? Informanterna i undersökningen talar elva olika språk och kommer från fjorton olika länder. Det vanligaste språket bland informanterna i undersökningen är arabiska. Det är en jämn köns- och åldersfördelning bland informanterna i undersökningen, men biblioteket har bara ett fåtal besökare i åldersgruppen mellan 20 till 30 år.

Arbetsgivares ansvar för rehabilitering : Vägen tillbaka i arbete, lång eller kort?

Aim and questions: The purpose of this paper is to clarify the responsibilities employers have for rehabilitation and to explore how it conforms to an employers' actual condi-tions. Furthermore, the intention is to increase knowledge of how employers interact with other partners in the rehabilitation process and what affects sick people to return to work. The following three questions form the basis of this paper: What are employers? responsibilities for rehabilitation under the law and how is it consistent with an employer's actual conditions? What is the role of employers in the rehabilitation co- operation with other actors? What factors influence sick people to return to work?Method: The paper has used a true scientific and a legal sociological method to examine how the regulated employer responsibility for rehabilitation relates to what is practical in re-ality. To achieve the purpose, four empirical interviews were conducted with Örebro Municipality, Insurance, occupational health Previa and a doctor, which all of them have an important role in the rehabilitation process.

Vill du ha en snigel på ögat? : En kvantitativ undersökning om svensk public service-televisions innehåll över 34 års tid.

Our study shows if and how Swedish public service television has changed its content from the time when SVT had monopoly until this day when the competition is greater than ever. We got an insight in what has been presented to the audience by studying TV schedules from 1975 to 2009. The study examines four weeks during the years when the two main channels SVT1 and SVT2 have been broadcasting. One week each of these following years have been examined: 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2009. These years have been chosen to get an insight in what content the TV schedules presented before and after SVT got competition in the Swedish TV market.
