Personalinvolverat innovationsarbete kan ha många direkta och indirekta positiva effekter på en organisation, detta område är dock relativt nytt för industriföretag. Vad behöver då en personalstyrka på ett industriföretag för att kunna hantera förändringsarbete och vad krävs av verksamhetsledare. Vilken möjlighet har egentligen en personalstyrka att skapa unika idéer om företaget?Syfte: meningen med studien är i huvudsak att öka kunskapen om personalinvolverad innovation i industriföretag.

Problem Dagens företag står inför framtida utmaningar, som förändrad konsumtion, strängare miljörestriktioner och hårdare krav på förlängd produktlivscykel för att nå en mer hållbar utveckling. Produktservicesystem (PSS) utgör en potentiell lösning för dessa utmaningar. Uthyrning har kommit att bli en självklar del inom vissa branscher emedan andra branscher fortfarande bygger på traditionell konsumtion. Textil- och modebranschen är en bransch där ägande fortfarande är den rådande formen. Vår undersökning grundar sig i att undersöka möjligheterna för ett PSS inom denna bransch.

Syftet var att analysera arbetssituationen för forskarna i ett stort globalt kunskapsintensivt företag och kartlägga hur den har förändrats när företaget vuxit från ett litet kunskapsintensivt företag till ett stort globalt företag; samt utveckla förståelse för hur storleken och byråkrati har möjlighet att samexistera med kunskapsintensitet..

1990 Sweden ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, with 54 rights. The Convention on the Rights of the Child does not apply as law in Sweden. However, all countries that have ratified the convention, has an obligation to implement the convention in all decision making and practical management that includes children. The purpose of the study is to examine the implementation of the convention in relation to unaccompanied refugee children on a state, municipal and non-profit level by using three actors. The actors are the Swedish immigration service, Stockholm social service and the NGO Save the Children.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the reason behind thedecision to open libraries at subway stations in Stockholm.The theoretical framework for the study is Douglas Raber´s threeideologies, social activism, conservative response and populistinitiative. The study includes interviews with librarians and apolitician responsible for the service and documents with plansfor the Public Libraries development during the period. Theempirical material was examined with an idea- and ideologicalanalysis.The conclusion is that the concept of the subway libraries consistsof a combination of the three ideologies but the most evidentare those of populist initiative and social activism.The reason for opening libraries at subway stations is to makethe libraries more easily accessible, to attract new visitors and tomake the Public Libraries service more visible. These smalllibraries have a function as a market place for the Public Librariesand as a meeting place in the city..

Måltidskunskap är ett relativt nytt och outforskat området. Forskare menar att måltiden är en diffus sak att undersöka och att det krävs mer djupgående forskning kring ämnet. Den nordiska forskning som gjorts delar upp måltiden i fem aspekter. En av dessa aspekter är mötet. Mötet är en stor del i gästens helhetsupplevelse då det är där all kontakt med personalen sker.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how city librariesmaintain the intellectual freedom in their Internet service. Thediscussion about Internet filters has been quiet in Sweden forseveral years, so I wanted to see if there had been an increased useof filters. I also wanted to see if the city libraries regulated theInternet service in another way. I sent a survey to 100 libraries andgot answer from 83. To explain what intellectual freedom is, I usedStuart Hamilton?s theory about intellectual freedom in the librarycontext.

This study focus on how physical and virtual meeting places may promote collaboration between firms and academia for the development of innovations. A case study was conducted on a meeting place that aims to support collaboration for the development of innovations in eHealth between different actors in the Linnaeus region. Data was collected through 6 interviews, whereas 3 with scientists and 3 with entrepreneurs. The data was analyzed based on a theoretical framework based on different perspectives on collaboration and networks, meetings and interaction and, physical and virtual meeting places.The results show that the purpose for collaboration is to be included in a network with other actors in the same area, gain increased knowledge of the subject area and to acquire new external contacts. Furthermore, in order to support collaboration, physical meeting places have to organize effective and interesting meetings.

Payment for contracting services in this context can be done according to a number of payment models. This study will focus on the methods and consequences associated with a change of Holmen Skog?s payment model from per hour to per metric ton for ballast hauling. The aim of this study is to improve the economic efficiency of Holmen Skog?s ballast hauling in construction and maintenance of forest truck roads. This is done by formulating and evaluating a proposal for a payment model based on crowns per ton.

The purpose of this essay is to find out how servicescape, with focus on the ?background music?, affects customer behavior in a clothing retail store. This study is an attempt to examine a hospital library's difficulties in reaching customers with consumer health information. The method was a case study of the consumer health service in the hospital library in Västerås, a town in Sweden. Qualitative interviews, observations and written material were used. The approach was from the actor's point of view with the intention to look upon the problem with the eyes of those who work at the hospital with information to patients, that is librarians and medical staff. Theories about marketing in service organizations and how to develop new services were used in the study, as well as theories about communication and different cultures within organizations of different kinds like the library and the hospital.

The purpose of this master thesis is to use marketing theory on the library?s activities. The marketing theory used is the 4Ps; product, price, promotion and place, as it's presented by Philip Kotler. Because the library can be seen as a service oriented organization Christian Gronroos theory of marketing in the service industry also has been used. A case study of the public library in Broby was made to illustrate how the public libraries? activities can appear in the light of marketing theory.

This thesis has been performed at consulting firm Sweco Position in Jönköping. The thesis is divided into two main sections: theoretical and practical. Background: The demand for sending letters, in the traditional aspect, has decreased because of electronic sources which have replaced a big part of letter communication. The Postal Service constantly strives for lowering costs and due to the changeable demand, a greater awareness is required regarding recourses and their usage. The previously mentioned measures in combination with commonly occurring quality issues during the collective process at the letter terminal in Alvesta would be improved by applying a lean-perspective to the process. A first step towards saving of time is to apply the ?value stream mapping?-method on the collective process for small and large letters.Purpose: To map the process of collection for small and large letters to be able to identify waste of recourses and furthermore give suggestions on how the Postal Service would be able to reduce the waste of recourses identified.
