SAS arbete för att bli Europas punktligaste flygbolag : -en fallstudie utifrån ett kvalitetsperspektiv
In 2010, SAS received the "On time performance service" award by Flightstats. This award was an affirmation of long-term work, both in projects and as an ongoing process, which the company sought to systematically improve punctuality on its flights. The extent to which SAS followed the values and the underlying theories of the cornerstone model for total quality management was the main issue in this essay. Whether there are conditions for the company to get even further by working in other ways was also investigated. In addition, the importance of punctuality in relation to customer satisfaction was discussed.
Lean IT Assessment Tool : Ett verktyg för att utvärdera en IT avdelnings möjligheter till effektivisering genom att implementera lean pä IT service management
Detta examensarbete har syftat till att utveckla ett verktyg för att utvärdera en IT-avdelnings möjligheter till effektivisering genom att implementera Lean på IT Service Management. Verktyget har utvecklats i samarbete med Tina Eriksson på uppdrag av management och IT-management konsultbolaget Connecta AB. Connecta AB har som syfte att använda verktyget för framtida affärer. För att verktyget ska vara användbart och uppfylla Connectas krav så har fyra mål satts upp. Verktyget ska vara trovärdigt, resurseffektivt, användarvänligt samt underlätta för fortsatt arbete och implementering av Lean på IT Service Management.
Mångspråk på bibliotek : En studie av fem folkbibliotek i Norrbotten
The purpose of this study is to investigate how public libraries in Norrbotten provide multilingual media and how the commitment is legitimized. In January 2014 there was a change to the guidelines for the International Library?s service for providing multilingual media. The responsibility for the provision of this service was also changed. The result shows there has been different ways of implementing the guidelines in practice; this has led to inequalities in the local library service.We have assembled data through qualitative interviews with five different public libraries in the north of Sweden.
Vad är kommersiellt och vad är public service? : Innehåll, form och funktion i radions morgonprogram
Uppsatsen undersöker radiomediets form (utformning, uppbyggnad och dess olika delar) och funktion (för programmens helhet och för lyssnarna) i dagens Sverige.Syftet var att analysera vilka likheter och skillnader som finns mellan public service radion och den kommersiella radion. Det är framförallt public service radions identitet som relateras i förhållande till den kommersiella radion. I uppsatsen används både kvantitativ och kvalitativ innehållsanalys med fokus på medietextens tempo, positionering och intention. Det empiriska materialet består av två av radions mest populära morgonprogram; RIX MorronZoo och Morgonpasset i Sveriges Radio P3, inspelade morgonen den 15/4 samt morgonen den 16/4 -2004. Referenserna består av tidigare forskning om radiomediet, aktuella rapporter, hemsidor, tidningsartiklar och offentliga dokument om styrregler för radion i Sverige.

This essay in how to create a brand identity is a result of a case study of the Spanish mobilephone company Xfera and their new brand ?Yoigo?. Our object was to identify the critical variables in the process of building a brand identity. To achieve this we collected data about the company through several interviews with respondents with good insight in the company. The critical variables that we obtained by analyzing the interviews are presented in an empirical driven model.

Todays travel trends go towards independence and self planning. If you need advice or help when performing your trip, there are several different series of guidebooks on the market and one of these series comes from the travel magazine Vagabond. This degree project concerns the redesigning of the travelguides of Vagabond, or to be precise: their cityguide over Istanbul. The purpose of the new design is to assure the resemblance between the guidebook and the magazine, as wanted by the Art Director of Vagabond Angelica Zander.Prior to the redesigning process preliminary studies that make up the fundamental ideas were made. Three other big titles of guidebooks on the market were analyzed, and in addition a great deal of focus ? considering the final purpose ? was put on the concept of magazine design.

The aim of our master thesis is first and foremost to win the competition One Prize
- mowing to Growing: Reinventing the American Lawn, announced in USA by the organization Terreform 1, the first of December 2009. Apart from winning the competition we have also tried to reach a deeper understanding of food production today and its future possibilities. Our ambition to present a winning design proposal has to a large extent decided the structure of the entire thesis.
Our completed and submitted design proposal - growforgold.org - is a way of addressing urban food production in a creative way, keeping the sovereignty of
the individual in mind. Instead of presenting a place-specific design solution our proposal aims to create incentives and possibilities for urban farming to take place
anywhere and anytime. Our submission to the competition represents both a tool and a platform which, put in practice, could make landscape architecture happen through the hands of the individual.
Den nya generationen KinBag : The new generation of KinBag
This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development,carried out during the spring semester in 2007 by three students at the Product Design Engineering programme at the University of Skövde. The project was performed as an assignment for KinBag ab, a sister subsidiary to Kinnegrip ab in Lidköping, who develop,manufacture and market the golf bag KinBag, a bag with an integrated wheel carriage system. The purpose of the project was to redesign the golf bag to attract a target group consisting of golfers aged between 20 and 40.The layout of the project was as follows: The project began with a feasibility study where different problems were identified with the basis of a market research which eventually was summarized in a dynamic specification of requirements. The feasibility study was followed by a generation of ideas which contained everything from sketches to simple mock-ups with an intensive amount of thoughtful brainwork and information gathering in between. This ledto the development of a number of design concepts, both on an overall level and on different parts of the golf bag.

Vi vill studera hur ett affärshotell kan tillmötesgå sina gäster med upplevelser. Våra frågeställningar är:? Hur definieras upplevelseutbudet utifrån ett affärshotells tjänsteerbjudande?? På vilket sätt förmedlar och verkställer ett affärshotell service och upplevelser? För att få djup i undersökning och material besökte vi hotellet under fyra dagar för observationer och kvalitativa undersökningar vilka vi sedan analyserat utifrån förutbestämd litteratur.
Design i inredningsindustrin : Tre fallstudier om design management och framgång
SammanfattningUppsatsen har för avsikt att undersöka hur svenska inredningsföretag använder design management för att utveckla sin verksamhet. Med design management avses funktionen att leda och kontrollera designprocessen, det innefattar också att fungera som länken mellan designen och organisationen. Design management har även som funktion att integrera designkonceptet i andra delar av organisationen, samt att integrera organisationen i designprocessen.Genom kursen Innovation and design management vid Växjö universitet där författarna studerar knöts kontakt med Anders Wisth, projektledare för Möbelriket i Småland. Anders Wisth hade observerat att flera företag som arbetar med design hade svårt att utveckla sin verksamhet. Möbelriket förmedlade kontakten till tre inredningsföretag som alla hade nått framgång med sin design och utvecklat sin verksamhet.Hur dessa företag arbetade med design jämfördes sedan mot varandra samt mot teorin.
Införande av IT Service Management med hjälp av IT Infrastructure Library
I en allt mer krympande värld, måste organisationer lära sig att snabbt reagera på marknadsförändringar. Medan organisationer blir bättre på att införa nya affärsprocesser, kvarstår problemet med en tungrodd och svårföränderlig IT?miljö. The purpose of this paper is to describe methods to computerize a library and to compare theory with a process in a school library. The case study is based on a school library called Sunnerbogymnasiet which is situated in Ljungby. My questions are;- Which methods are parts of the process to computerize a library?- Which methods are used in the process in Sunnerbogymnasiet?- What does the practical process look like compared to the methods described in theory?In the paper I present the methods in the process according to the studied literature and compare these with a process at Sunnerbogymnasiet. The most significant result is that cooperation between the school library and the community library was the most important reason for the choice of library computer system.

This paper is a thorough review of my internship, during which I designed infographics at Grafiskt Center, SVT, Stockholm. The purpose has been to find out what guidelines and policies SVT has regarding infographics while producing infographics in a professional environment. In addition, I present the daily routine at SVT and the tools used during the work process. Furthermore, the paper contains a reflection of my work effort during the internship as well as thoughts on how I adjusted to the guidelines in question. Att förebygga hot och våld mot socialsekreterare
The aim of the study was to examine if and how the social service and the social welfare secretary provides against threat and violence in the encounter with clients. The study is qualitative and carried out with six semi-structured interviews with social welfare secretaries and participation observations at the social welfare offices in three municipalities. The theoretical starting points used were symbolic interactionism and strange loops. The result shows that social service and social welfare secretaries both use measures to prevent threat and violence to occur. The precautionary measures mainly used by social services are ; looked doors, alarm device, loose objects removes and interview rooms are furnish in purpose for the social welfare secretary to flee the room at urgent need.
