The aim of this essay is to examine how two different schools in Södertälje municipality are working to include and integrate newly arrived high school students in the subject Swedish as a second language. I will do a comparative study in which I study the teachers? completely opposite way of working to integrate newly arrived school students in the subject Swedish as a second language. I have used a qualitative method where I have conducted interviews. My main theory is Peder Haug's (1998) theory.

Skolverket anser att grunden i integrationen mellan de båda skolformerna förskola och skola nu är lagd och det är dags att bygga vidare. I denna grund påtalar dock Skolverket att det har skett en ?skolifiering? av förskoleklassen. Med tanke på detta är syftet med studien att studera pedagogers syn på förskoleklassens verksamhet med speciellt fokus på lek. Att beskriva vad en ?skolifiering? av förskoleklassen har betytt och eventuellt kommer att betyda för lärandet och leken i de lägre åldrarna, anser vi som skribenter kan leda till att en integration mellan de bägge skolformerna förskola och skola inte bör ske på någons bekostnad.

The goal of our research is to give the general picture of the attitudes of immigrants to their own integration process into the Swedish society, focusing on the feeling of belonging, satisfaction with the social network, as well as confidence in the future. Moreover, in our study, we investigate a possible relation between the attitudes of the immigrants to the above-mentioned variables and their age and education. The research is based on a quantitative questionnaire investigation, which comprises all Sfi students at level D in the northeastern part of Skåne county. The research shows that the majority are open to the Swedish culture and traditions, keeping, at the same time, their own native traditions. Four out of five think that the Swedish language is important for integration.

The aim of this study was to explore refugees experiences of an introduction program in a small Swedish municipality. The study was based on semi-structured interviews with six refugees and was conducted to explore how the introduction program contributed or has not contributed to feelings of being integrated. Our informants have got different backgrounds but have all been forced to flee their home country to Sweden. The interview data was interpreted through earlier research, theories about social exclusion and concepts which were relevant for our study. Our study showed that the informants felt kindly received in the small municipality.

Background: A large part of the daily political and economic debate in Sweden concerns the EU. This paper deals with Iraqis in the Swedish labour market. The main goal was to point out on positive aspects of the Swedish labour market integration. The official Swedish interpretation of the concept of citizenship is based on the social-liberal concept of citizenship. According to feminist critique, this interpretation of the concept contains male norms that lead to the exclusion of several groups from full citizenship. There is also a corresponding feminist critique which holds that in the womens´ movement and gender research there are strong norms as well, especially in the form of ethnocentrism. Also, the image of immigrant women in public debate is being questioned and the critics here raise the question of the responsibility of the society for integration. Swedish research on citizenship has focused very little on the situation of immigrant women, and this essay aims at helping to fill this empirical gap.

De flesta organisationer använder idag informationssystem i sin verksamhet. Ofta har man flera olika system för att lösa olika problem och för att stödja olika funktioner i en organisa¬tion. När en organisation har två eller flera informationssystem som är fristående från varandra riskerar man att hamna i en situation där ett behov att koppla ihop dessa uppstår. Anledningar till detta kan till exempel vara att man vill göra informationen tillgänglig eller effektivisera verksamheten. Fallstudien har undersökt vilka orsaker till, och motiv för, integration som individer i en organisation anser ligga bakom ett upplevt integrationsbehov.

Timing innebär att bedöma tid och reglera sitt beteende tidsmässigt. Precision i timing påverkas bland annat av sensorisk feedback, men det är inte känt om starkare feedback ökar precisionen. Femton män och fem kvinnor genomförde en synkroniserings- och produktions-uppgift där feedbackljuden under produktionen förekom i fem ljudstyrkenivåer (65-105 dB i 10 dB steg) och två frekvenser (120 & 4200 Hz). Jag fann en signifikant interaktionseffekt mellan ljudnivå och frekvens. Även signifikanta skillnader i hur man skattade ljuden och skillnader i hur män och kvinnor skattade påträffades.

The aim of the essay was to see how the respondents reasoned about different themes like, isolation, integration and barriers to integration, given that they had all been diagnosed with a psychosis diagnosis. The essay takes part of secondary data that had been gathered through interviews by researchers at the department of Research and Development Psychiatric South Stockholm during a 3 year period. To work with the interview data a qualitative interview analysis method was used. The interviews were analyzed against theories of social interaction, labeling, stigma and the theory of ?role exit?.

I hälso- och sjukvården i Sverige används ett flertal medicintekniska apparater och IT-system. Ofta läser man av en skärm på den medicintekniska apparaten och noterar informationen på papper för att sedan manuellt mata in dessa uppgifter i IT-systemen. Detta manuella mellanled finns det önskemål och förhoppningar om att slippa. Man vill kunna överföra information automatiskt mellan den medicintekniska apparaten och IT-systemet, med andra ord vill man integrera dem.
