This essay presents a comparative analysis of five Swedish translations of three Russian poems: The twelve (??????????) written by Alexander Blok, Requiem (???????) written by Anna Akhmatova and End song (????? ?????) written by Marina Tsvetayeva. The introductory readings of the Swedish translations texts are combined with a parallel reading of the Russian original. In addition to the primary literature I execute readings of secondary literature concerning the Russian, modernistic context, the poets? biographies and the translator?s commentaries concerning the working process of translation.

I have taught pupils in several schools in eighth and ninth grade in ?weak? groups in mathematics. Most of them seemed to possess potential, but lacked motivation. Even though I tried several pedagogical methods, these approaches failed to engage the students. This prompted thoughts that this may reflect a broader structural problem about the organisation of education in Sweden.

Efter psykiatrireformen i mitten av 1990-talet övergick Sverige från den tidigare institutionsbaserade vården till den idag kommunbaserade vården. Vi som vårdare kan nu träffa på människan med schizofren sjukdom var vi än jobbar, då människan med schizofren sjukdom även får kroppsliga sjukdomar. Schizofreni är en sjukdom som ofta innefattar en värld som kan upplevas främmande, svår att förstå och långt ifrån den livsvärld vi som vårdare vanligtvis möter. Om förståelsen hos oss som vårdare brister i hur människan med schizofren sjukdom upplever sin livsvärld kan det påverka bemötandet och vården negativt. För att kunna ge ett värdigt och respektfullt bemötande behövs kunskap och förståelse om hur människan med schizofren sjukdom upplever sin livsvärld och mötet i vården.Syftet med litteraturstudien är att belysa hur människan med schizofren sjukdom upplever sin livsvärld och mötet i vården.

This essay is about reading among patients in hospital. The aim of the essay is to find out what part reading and the library play for patients in hospital. An additional aim is to find out in what ways the collaboration between hospital librarians and hospital staff could be developed. The starting-point of the problem is one main question: What part does reading play for the patient during the stay at the hospital? On the basis of the answers to this question I have also looked for possibilities of enhanced co-operation between hospital libraries and hospital staff.The method for the essay is qualitative and fifteen persons in three different wards at University Hospital in Malm have been interviewed.

The purpose with this thesis is to analyse the image of the Chinese that was constructed and maintained in the materials published in association to the Swedish Mission Covenant Church (SMF) missionary work in China between the years of 1890 to 1914.The analysed material is mainly from the periodical Missionsförbundet, the analyse also include various books, biographies and anthologies. Inspired by Michel Foucault I found my methodological starting point in his discourse term. Frome there, by the help of the texts of Torjer A. Olsen, I constructed a discourse analyses, by which I analysed my materials.The survey showed that the material associated to SMF foremost constructed a negative pictureof the Chinese as unclean, conservative, arrogant, liars, greedy, loud, bad singers and that the woman situation was seen as untenable. A more appreciative picture also emerged and the Chinese was described as polite and strong.
