There are several types of inspections but the final inspection has the biggest legal implications and is important in many aspects, since it?s the one that ends the contract time for the contract i.e. when the contract is passed on from contractor to the client. It is also a confirmation on how the contract has been carried out and that the potential guarantee times after the contract will start to apply. The objective of the following report is to find out what different types of inspections there are as well as a legal understanding about what happens before, during and above all after the final inspection.

The city of Kalmar has a desire that their 3D maps of the city should come to a greater use and get residents more involved in Kalmar city. The purpose of this report is to show one way to work with these 3D maps when it comes to presenting information about Kalmar for its residents and tourists in a specific area.  The report also includes information about advantages and disadvantages with the use of 2D and 3D maps in different environments. Various reports and other sources indicate an interest in 3D and a use for this, but even that 2D is still seen as a natural way to read a map. By collecting information from relevant literature, interviews and user testing, the group has obtained sufficient background information to present the results of a web site, where the visitor can navigate in both 2D and 3D in a specific area of Kalmar. The aim of this report is to improve the fire safety at Hallsta Paper Mill in Hallstavik, Sweden. In order to do so large parts of a fire-protection management system for the paper mill has been created. The report begins with giving a general description of management structures and fire-protection management systems. An account is given for how management structures are designed, and how they should be implemented, maintained and updated. During the past years Building Information Modelling (BIM), which is a digital way to work, has begun to spread amongst the parts of the construction process. At the construction phase the larger companies has started using the new way to work. This expansion has not been developed amongst smaller companies leading to the purpose of this report, to investigate in which ways the smaller companies can implement BIM by changing their way to work. The thesis is delimited to work preperations with the objective to define how the work preperations should be structured to enable the implementation of BIM. To achieve the objective of the report, information about the subject has been collected by interviews and literature studies.

In this report a model was constructed in order to determine how a number of covariates influence the gross domestic product, GDP. The covariates were chosen depending on their expected influence on GDP, for example education and life expectancy. The data used in this report are collected from the World Bank. The model to describe GDP has been calculated using multiple line arregression. In order to reach a reliable final model the number of covariates has been gradually decreased to eliminate insignificant covariates.

Trade unions are one type of non-profit organizations with the main purpose to care for the interest of its members concerning their working condition.

This report discusses how well the competences the master program in Information Technology, given by the Royal Institute of Technology, meet the demands from the business life. It is made qualitative and about 20 companies have taken part to get the results. The study has been made to see how well the three first years and the entire five year master, with different aiming, meets the demands. The results shows that the master program needs to be remodeled to meet the demands in the more ?softer competencies?, which for example is people management and an understanding about economical, juridical and cultural aspects.

This thesis will deal with the development of the situation of the Roma minority in the Swedish school system in the period between 1954 to 2010, based on two Swedish Government Official Reports of the group's situation in the Swedish schools. The study is done by the report Zigenarfrågan (SOU 1956:43) and with the report Romers rätt (SOU 2010:55). The report Romers rätt was written by the Delegation for Roma issues and gives an updated picture of the situation of Roma in the Swedish school system. The state investigation Zigenarfrågan, is also important as the latter resulted in the Roma children enrolled in Swedish schools. This work will look at the various governmental investigations by the theory used for analysis called ?structural discrimination theory?.

Resandet mellan länder i världen har ökat vilket även medfört att fler turister från andra länder besöker Sverige. Vilhelmina kommun som är beläget i Lappland anses av utländska turister vara ett exotiskt resmål, men har trots detta erfarit att turismen minskat. Welw AB är ett turistföretag som marknadsför naturturism i Vilhelmina kommun och som med stöd från kommunen vill ändra den negativa turistutvecklingen. Welw AB vill genom att se hur andra liknande turistföretag lyckats locka turister, hur de arbetar med sin marknadsföring och lära och anamma deras tillvägagångssätt.Med denna utgångspunkt valde vi i samråd med Vilhelmina kommun och Welw AB att göra en benchmarking där Welw AB jämförs med två liknande turistföretag i Kärnten, Österrike. I Kärnten, som anses vara ett välkänt turismområde, finns liknande natur och möjlighet till aktiviteter som finns tillgängliga i Vilhelmina kommun.

En av turismindustrins största utmaningar är att identifiera potentiella målgrupper och sedan kunna tillgodose turisters varierade behov. En av de främsta målgrupperna inom svensk turismindustri är turister av tysk nationalitet. VisitSweden menar att de två mest betydelsefulla tyska målgrupperna i Sverige utgörs av WHOPS och barnfamiljer, men det finns ytterligare ett segment av turister vilka anses ha goda framtidsutsikter; nämligen unga turister. Under de senaste åren har det blivit tydligt att unga turister är ett allt viktigare segment inom turismindustrin och utgör en märkbar del av antalet inkommande turister till destinationer runt om i världen. Med en deduktiv ansats och kvantitativ metod har vi, med hjälp av ett snöbollsurval, genomfört en enkätundersökning på unga tyskar mellan 18-30 år. Utifrån teorier om resmotiv utfördes en studie för att öka kunskapen om unga tyska turisters uppfattning om Sverige som destination och unga tyska turisters resvanor.
