Syftet med arbetet är att redovisa och diskutera planeringsprocessens förhållande till begreppet social hållbarhet, samt beskriva olika demokratimodeller och dimensioner av social hållbarhet. Vidare är syftet att undersöka hur olika aktörer i projektet Fjordbyen i Oslo arbetar med och tar hänsyn till olika aspekt av hållbarhetsdimensionen. Arbetet bygger på en forskningsöversikt över relevant planeringsvetenskaplig litteratur kombinerat med en fallstudie över Fjordbyen i Oslo där metoderna innehållsanalys och intervju användes. Den teoretiska översikten gjordes för att skapa ett underlagsmaterial för analys av fallstudiens empiri, genom skapandet av analyskriterier. Analysen visar att social hållbarhet spelar en viktig roll både för kommunen och privata aktörer, men att det finns svårigheter med deltagandet som samsvarar med vad som beskrivs i forskningsöversikten. Analysen visar också på en stark kommun som har initiativet över planeringen och styr efter sin vision, något som båda har positiva och negativa sidor..

AbstractThe aim of the study was to examine how a school team works with formative assessment in compulsory school for pupils with intellectual disabilities. The study had a particular focus on formative assessment in relation to pupils with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. Since there is a lack of research within the field of formative assessment and pupils with moderate and severe disabilities this study may contribute to new knowledge in this field. A sociocultural perspective has been used as a theoretical framework. A central concept in the sociocultural perspective is that people develop knowledge in interaction with other people and that communication and language is important.  The methodical framework was inspired by an ethnographic approach and the empirical material was concocted by participatory observations and by interviews.

Ett samhälle där en hög andel av transporterna sker på cykel har många fördelar för miljön, hälsan och ekonomin. Inom staden har cykeln även fördelen att den tar lite utrymme i anspråk och kan bidra till en attraktivare stadsmiljö. Syftet med detta arbete är att presentera åtgärder som ger förutsättning för en ökad och säker cykeltrafik. Baserat på svenska och utländska riktlinjer samt exempel från städer med en hög cykelandel ges en överblick över olika sätt att främja cykling i staden. Det handlar om att inkludera cykelplanering i övriga stadsplaneprocesser, att skapa strategier för stadens utveckling av cykling, att satsa på fysisk infrastruktur anpassad efter cyklisters behov och att informera och följa upp de mål som sätts.

Investments have above all been done in the mailroom to be able tooffer commercial costumers a higher degree of finishing and there are plans to expand further in the commercialmarket. GD-tryck is of the opinion that they need to secure the quality of their production to be ableto do such expansion, which is the reason why a quality system of some kind may be appropriate. Howeverthere are no plans to certify such a quality system according to ISO 9001:2000.In this exam report the present methods of working have been analysed from a quality perspective.Suggestions on how GD-tryck should be working with quality development is presented in the fields whereshortage of quality has been discovered. The suggestions taken together do not form a quality system butcan be looked at as ideas of approach to quality fields that have to be developed if a working quality systemshall be accomplished.Many of the quality fields that have been discussed do not have anything to do with technical qualitydirectly but are in some degree requirements for a working quality system.

Background: Stroke is one of the leading causes for longlasting sequelae, among themloss in cognitive function, like aphasia. Aphasia effects the patients ability to understandand express themselves in speaking and writing. To be able to reach a good level of care,the careproviders and patients ought to have the same goals and values. This requires agood communication between the careproviders and patients. Which can be problematicfor the caregivers when they don't feel secure in their way of getting close to these patients.Aim: The purpose of this study was to illuminate caregivers experience of caring forpatients with the diagnosis aphasia following stroke.Method: This is a literature study where nine studies, with qualitative design, has beenanalyzed and compiled.

Genom vår undersökning ville vi ta reda på om SALSA, Vodafones data warehouse tillgodoser användarnas informationsbehov. Som stöd för vår analys jämförde vi befintliga teorier inom områdena information samt data warehouse, med tillämpning i verkligheten genom vårt referensföretag. Undersökningen har utförts genom skriftliga intervjuer samt enkäter, där två olika undersökningsgrupper ingått. Den ena gruppen har utgjorts av SALSAs utvecklare och den andra av SALSAs användare. Den hypotes som vi arbetat med är "SALSA tillgodoser användarnas informationsbehov" med underfrågorna "Vilka krav kan användarna rimligen ställa på SALSA?", "Vilken information saknar användarna att få fram från SALSA?", "Vilka förslag på förbättringar gällande SALSA har användarna?" samt "Räcker användarforum för att framföra användarnas synpunkter på SALSA?". Då vi analyserat och bearbetat materialet från enkätundersökningen samt besvarat våra frågeställningar, har vi verifierat vår hypotes.

In recent years, the demands for effectiveness and evidence in social work have increased in all work areas, including that of healthcare. This has sparked the discussion on concepts such as practical- and theoretical knowledge and their respective roles in social work. In the light of this, the purpose of this candidate thesis is to investigate healthcare social workers understanding of practical- and theoretical knowledge in the working process as well as their respective influence and importance. This candidate thesis is based on three interviews with social workers from different departments in Norrlands Universitetssjukhus in Umeå, Sweden. To provide range to the thesis, the interviewees were chosen from a purposeful sampling.

This thesis aim to shed a light on how to communicate the individual and subjective feeling of safety in the arena of public events such as music- and cultural festivals with the safety-project on Peace & Love festival in Borlänge, Sweden as a practical example. Earlier research has mainly been focusing on the objective side of safety on these kind of events. Peace & Love decided to put a larger focus on the safety for the festival in 2012, and Trygghetsprojektet was started. By looking at how the project is formed this study wants to show how organisations can communicate a feeling of being safe to the audience to enable them to fully enjoy an event.The main questions asked in this study is: How can a feeling of being safe be communicated to a large number of people by focused acts of communication at a festival? How does the head of safety and the safety coordinator work with communicating a feeling of being safe to the audience? How does these communication acts relate to earlier research on mass communication? The results shows that communication within the organisation and with its partners is of great importance for the outcomes of the project and that communication of the feeling of being safe is much greater then the hands-on communication of words.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse how young men who have participated in a riot describe their life-situations regarding to their relations to the police, their neighbourhood, employment, the background to the riots and how they use hip-hop as a resistance to subordination. The study is conducted through three semi-structured qualitative group interviews and to some extent field studies. The theoretical points of departure are Slavoj Zizeks theory of violence, which is divided into subjective, symbolic and systemic violence, and subcultural theory. The results of the study show that the young men in their daily life are exposed to by both systemic and symbolic violence, feel secure within their neighbourhood and find themselves harassed by the police. A major finding is that the riot primarily can be understood as an act to get society conscious of their situations, while they found themselves marginalised, lacking employment and youth club.

Har de modernistiska principerna med industriellt byggande, funktionsuppdelning och trafikseparering skapat en monoton bebyggelsekaraktär, brist på mötesplatser och brist på lokal kommers? Mitt antagande är att detta är fallet och frågan blir då hur vi kan utveckla möjligheterna för att skapa fler mötesplatser och en dynamisk lokal kommersiell verksamhet? På vilket sätt går det att öka variationen av bebyggelse och lägenheter? Är det önskvärt att överhuvudtaget ändra i en redan befintlig miljö med strikt hierarkisk struktur? Examensarbetet kan ses som en pusselbit i det kreativa och långsiktiga arbetet med att skapa en vision för stadsdelen Rosengård i Malmö. Jag vill redan från början slå fast att jag inte syftar till att skapa ett universellt verktyg för att lösa brister i miljonprogrammets bostadsområden. Jag utgår från projektområdets speciella förutsättningar och relationen till övriga Malmö. Syftet blir att föreslå en framtida stadsutvecklingen som innebär skapandet av nya strukturer och förtätning av bebyggelse för att göra Rosengård till en funktionsintegrerad stadsdel istället för dagens funktionsuppdelade struktur..

Inledning: Under min praktik 2011 kom jag i kontakt med ett samordningsförbund FINSAM, som arbetar med rehabiliteringsfrågor. Det var också här som jag kom i kontakt med de olika samverkansprojekt som bedrivs inom regionen både inom Samordningsförbundet FINSAM samt ESF projekten. Syfte med studien var att se vad det är som har hänt när ett samverkansprojekt avslutas. Metoden är en litteraturstudie som jag sen har kopplat samman med det intervjuerna som jag har gjort. Intervjuerna spelades in på en diktafon på respektive arbetsplats samt via samtal i ett bokat grupprum på biblioteket.

I Vara kommun samverkar både stat, region, kommun och medborgare i ett projekt för att få fiberbredband på landsbygden. Ett stort förändringsprojekt som involverar många människor och som behöver kommuniceras på ett bra sätt för att skapa förståelse, motivation och engagemang. Syftet med den här uppsatsen har varit att beskriva förändringskommunikation och att kartlägga olika aktörer och kommunikationskanaler som kan vara involverade i en förändringsprocess. Dessutom har syftet varit att få ta del av upplevelsen av den kommunikation som har skett i det här förändringsprojektet i Vara kommun. Studiens fokus resulterade i en kvalitativ design och urvalet av respondenterna som svarade på upplevelsen av kommunikationen gjordes utifrån de föreningsrepresentanter som har varit aktiva i projektet.

The purpose was to describehow a person strategically can proceed to build an identity on the internet toget benefits in the job seeking process in the media industry and to describethe importance of the digital identity in the recruitment process in a smallertown. We?ve used a qualitative approach and made eight interviews withrecruiters from the media and also people who have built a digital identity.We?ve used Bauman?s theory about consumer society, Montoya?s eight lawsof personal branding and also theories about profiling, and communicationsplanning to analyze the material.

In this thesis I have criticized traditional nationalism theories formulated by Eric Hobsbawm, Ernest Gellner, Benedict Anderson and Anthony D. Smith. The critique has been based on my belief that nationalism theories do not explain nations whose foundation is built on forward-looking, dynamic aspects such as economy, human and civil rights, and democracy. Traditional nationalism theories have been focused on historicizing perspectives whereas I want to draw attention to non-historicizing perspectives within the field of research. So far nationalism theories has had a shared past or a shared ethnicity as its focal point.
