Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka tre skolade sångerskors egna upplevelser av sångens effekter både fysiologiskt och psykologiskt. Genom en semistrukturerad djupintervju och en enkät med VAS-metoden (visuell analog skala) och POMS-metoden (profile of mood states) söktes svar på den huvudsakliga frågan om aktiviteten sång kan motverka stress. Framförallt var jag intresserad av att ta reda på om det upplevdes ha en avslappnande och välgörande effekt och i så fall varför.Tidigare forskning har visat ett samband mellan sång och ökat välbefinnande. Det har varit tydligt att sång kan ha en positiv verkan på den som sjunger, men faktorerna till det inverkande resultatet är flera och därför kan man mest se vad totaleffekten av sång är.Uppsatens teoretiska bakgrund består av litteraturstudier som behandlar frågan vad stress är och dess effekter på kroppen, likaså vad som händer i kroppen vid sång. Jag har både valt att ta med vetenskapliga fakta och mer kontroversiella teorier som bakgrund, då jag tror att båda kan belysa frågorna i min undersökning.Resultatet visar att sången hade en positiv effekt såväl psykologiskt som fysiologiskt på intervjupersonerna.

My intention with this paper is to try to understand the meaning of the double sex symbols which can be identified on a number of Neolithic so called battle axes from the region round the lake Mälaren in Sweden. My conclusions are drawn after having studied a number of archaeological thesises. I have realized that the society was egalitarian from what is said about the funeral habits since women and men were buried with the same care. Ceramics from the Skogsmossen site show a very long continuity over 15-20 generations. These facts indicate a peaceful society without traumatic breaks where knowledge would have been lost.

Syftet med följande arbete är att belysa vilka copingstrategier pedagoger i förskolan och grundskolan har för att hantera sin egen stress och om specialpedagogisk handledning kan underlätta. Studien bygger på sex enskilda djupintervjuer och femtio enkäter som besvarats av slumpmässigt utvalda pedagoger på förskola, fritidshem och grundskola. Med hjälp av djupintervjuerna och enkäterna vill vi visa hur pedagoger uppfattar sin arbetssituation.Vårt syfte baseras på två frågeställningar: Vilka copingstrategier har pedagoger i förskolan, grundskolan och fritidshem för att hantera stress? Upplever pedagoger att specialpedagogisk handledning skulle underlätta deras reflektion och stresshantering?Arbetet ger en översikt över tidigare forskning om pedagoger och stress.Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultatet av vår undersökning att pedagogerna upplever sitt arbete som meningsfullt, glädjefullt och betydelsefullt, men att deras arbetsbelastning är för hög. Pedagogerna använder sig av olika copingstrategier för att hantera sin stress.

Today it is not unusual to use a secondary screen to accompany a primary screen. The possibility to integrate these two in the form of an application for the secondary screen have long been possible but have not been developed to full potential. This thesis aims to study the use of the extra information and functions this type of application would make possible and how this type of application could be used.For this study a prototype-application including a real time newsfeed and a static menu for a specific episode of a Tv-series was created based on the information collected in an online survey. The application was tested on a number of people who got to evaluate the experience in short interviews and were given the possibility to recommend changes in the application.The result after the study showed the people where torn about what kind of information would best fit the application but showed over all that a dynamic newsfeed with information continuously updated with the episode where most appreciated. The problem with the difference in interest around the categories would be solved first and foremost by the application being configurable so that every single user has the possibility to choose which kind of information to be updated in the newsfeed.

The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate whether employed social workers, working with supplementary benefits at a social service office, felt stressed. If so was the case, we wanted to investigate if this stress that they felt had any effect on their clients. This study was based on eight qualitative interviews, of which four was with social workers and four was with clients. For a better understanding of our results we used Karasek & Theorells demand-control-support model.The study reveals that the social workers do feel stressed, but they only do so in periods. They declare that they would like to have more time for their work assignments, the meetings with the clients in particulate.

Psykosocial ohälsa är en av de största orsakerna till sjukfrånvaro bland tjänstemän. Få studier syftar till att undersöka förebyggande aktiviteter för stress på organisationsnivå. Europeiska arbetsmiljöbyrån, EU-OSHA, erbjuder råd för att på företag förebygga stress. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att beskriva hur tjänstemän upplevde EU-OSHA:s råd för organisatoriska stressförebyggande insatser. Undersökningen sökte svar på om råden upplevdes genomförbara, om det fanns hinder som försvårade genomförandet och vilka förutsättningar som krävdes.

The purpose of this study is to examine how adult students, studying at an upper secondary school for adults, search for information for their independent tasks in different subjects. These independent tasks are frequent in most subjects and are a part of the ?investigation-work?. For most adult students this is a new way of learning. Fifteen qualitative interviews with adult students have been conducted.

In this essay suggested pathogenesis of secondary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HOA) is reviewed. HOA, characterized by; periostitis, periosteal proliferation of tubular bones and arthritis can develop due to many different underlying diseases. The syndrome is most commonly seen with intra-thoracic malignancy or chronic pulmonary infections. HOA has previously mainly been described in humans and various domesticated species. More recently, through wildlife disease monitoring, cases have also been found among wild animals.

The thesis of this essay is how literary texts are selected in the teaching of Swedish in upper secondary school, and how teachers reflect upon gender in these selections. To answer the thesis question three methods have been used. Firstly interviews were held with five teachers of Swedish, which have been the primary source for the essay. In addition to the interviews, I have examined two literary anthologies used as teaching aid in the teaching of Swedish and lastly I analyzed the literature and authors that the teachers explicitly express that they use in their tutoring. The secondary sources of this thesis contain research on selections of fictional texts, literary canon and students? re-production of gender.

The aim of this essay is to examine how gender is described in pictures in textbooks used in swedish upper secondary school. The research question is: How is gender being potrayed in the pictures of new age in the textbook in relation to traditional dichothomy, hierarchy and detraditionalization? The material used in this study consists of five textbooks in religion used for education in upper secondary schools in Sweden. In total, 18 pictures from these books that describe new age, constitutes the subject of analysis. The method used is picture analysis.

Large areas of forests in the tropical region have during the last decades been lost and converted to new land uses while other areas have been degraded into secondary forests. These secondary forests need to be restored and rehabilitation through enrichment planting and liberation may help to speed up the recovery process. The objective of this thesis was to evaluate a rehabilitation method that includes enrichment planting, slashing of weeds and girdling of unwanted trees. The site for the project is situated in Sabah, Borneo in a secondary forest which had been logged and burnt by a wildfire. The project?s goal is to rehabilitate and increase biodiversity through enrichment planting of seedlings mainly belonging to the family Dipterocarpeaceae (dipterocarps).

Frågan om socialsekreterares arbetssituation är en fråga som är aktuell. På många håll känner sig socialsekreterare utsatta och pressade, då deras arbetsbörda är alltför hög i förhållande till de redskap och resurser de har att tillgå. Arbetsbördan ökar då personalomsättningen är hög och man tvingas täcka upp för andras tjänster, något som har lett till en stor debatt i samhället och även demonstrationer. Det är utifrån denna bakgrund som författarna bestämde sig för att genomföra denna studie. De ville undersöka vad för stress det finns i socialsekreterares vardagliga arbete, hur de hanterar den samt vad det är i socialsekreterarnas arbetssituation som gör att de löper en ökad risk att bli utbrända.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.

Bakgrund. Studenter upplever mycket stress i sin vardag och tidigare undersökningar visar att studenter inom hälsovetenskapliga utbildningar är mer stressade än övriga studenter. Vi saknade undersökningar gjorda på svenska sjukgymnaststudenter och valde därför att kartlägga upplevd stress, hälsa och fysiska aktivitetsvanor i denna studentgrupp. Syfte. Syftet med studien var att kartlägga hur sjukgymnaststudenter i termin 1 och 5 på universitet och högskolor i Sverige upplevde sin hälsa och stressnivå utifrån studiemiljön och fysiska aktivitetsvanor.

Stressrelaterad ohälsa hos psykologer är ett stort problem och kvinnor drabbas i större utsträckning än män. När upplevda krav överstiger förmåga under en längre oavbruten tid kan stressrelaterad ohälsa uppstå. Stress kan förklaras på olika sätt: på individ- eller organisationsnivå, som en konflikt mellan arbete och familj eller som en konsekvens av ojämställdhet. I denna studie undersöktes hur kvinnliga psykologer som varit sjukskrivna för stressrelaterad ohälsa beskrev orsaker till sin stress. Intervjudeltagarna kom från hela Sverige och hade under sjukskrivningstillfället anställning inom primär- eller sekundärvård.
