Denna uppsats handlar om en kurs, vid namn Elkompetens A, en grundläggande, men också behörighetsgivande kurs som ingår i Elprogrammets obligatoriska kurser. Den genomförs vid Carlsunds Utbildningscentrum i Motala på elprogrammets första årskurs.I detta arbete har jag försökt få svar på, vilken av två olika arbetsupplägg, som gav eleverna mest utbyte i form av kunskaper att bygga vidare på i nästkommande årskurser. Den stora skillnaden i uppläggen, är utgångspunkten för kursen. Efterforskningen är i första hand byggd på intervjuer med elever ur två olika årskullar..

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to apply "Discount Dividend model" and "Discounted Cash Flow model" in reality during periods of economic boom alternatively recession.Method: A quantitative research method as well as secondary data and data collection method is used. This data consists of the company?s annual reports. In 2007 the Prevention Unit at Södermalm in Stockholm started a group activity for parents and children. The group activity?s intention is to offer families support in their early interaction. This study is a part of providing knowledge about this intervention. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the stories which are produced by five participants in a support group for parents and children.

Resultatet av vår undersökning visar att föräldrar med en högre utbildning i större utsträckning deltog mer aktivt i valet samt i högre grad påverkade sina barn i deras val än föräldrar med en lägre utbildning. En tendens som vi kan se är att en majoritet av barnen själva letade upp den skola som de ville gå på. Det som var viktigast i valet till gymnasieskola var att skolan hade det önskade programmet och en speciell profil som bidrog till barnets utveckling. Att gymnasiet var centralt beläget och att det var en mindre skola med god skolmiljö upplevdes även det som viktigt..

Trycksår är ett vanligt förekommande problem som medför stort lidande för den som drabbas och bidrar till extra kostnader för samhället. Syftet med studien var att sammanställa vilka förebyggande omvårdnadsåtgärder sjuksköterskor använder sig av och om de är tillräckliga för att motverka trycksår hos sängliggande patienter på sjukhus. Metoden som användes var en litteraturgranskning där artiklar samlats inom ämnet och där fokus lagts på trycksår, omvårdnadsåtgärder och riskfaktorer. Resultatet visade att det är viktigt att sätta in preventiva åtgärder i god tid för att förhindra uppkomsten av trycksår. De omvårdnadsåtgärder som sjuksköterskan använder sig av idag är riskbedömning, tryckavlastning, observation och vård av huden, nutritionsstatus och dokumentation.

The Swedish Code for Corporate Governance was introduced on July 1, 2005. All companies then listed at OM Stockholmsbörsen A-list and those on the O-list with a market value of more than three billion SKr must implement the rules in the Code. The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe the variation in perceptions of demands and expectations of study performance among a group of students at an upper secondary school. The study is inspired by a phenomenographic approach in which variations in perceptions of a phenomenon are of importance. Twelve students at a science program participated and were interviewed in groups of four. The results show that among the students there are several different perceptions of the demands and expectations to perform they felt present in their lives. The most important result is that it is the students' own demands and expectations on their performance and study results that are seen as the most demanding..

Aim and question at issue: The aim of this study is to compare the motivation to participate in the course Idrott och hälsa A between students studying vocational and further education preparatory programs at upper secondary school.What level of motivation do the students of the two programs have towards participation in the course Idrott och hälsa A.What kind of motivational factors are important for students in the two programs concerning participation in the course Idrott och hälsa A According to the students of the two programs, what type of motivational factors would increase the motivation to participate in the course Idrott och hälsa A. Method: A quantitative study has been carried out using a questionnaire. Thirteen randomly chosen upper secondary school classes were included in the county of Stockholm, 7 of them in the vocational program and 6 of them in the further education preparatory program. The questionnaire was filled out by 278 students, 120 in the vocational program and 158 in the higher education preparatory program. The response frequency for the study was 92 %.Results: The results of this study show that the majority (77%) of all students in the population are highly motivated to participate in the course Idrott och hälsa A.

The objective of this literature study was to describe the nurse?s preventive actions to prevent diabetes type 2 among children and adolescents in school age. It emerged from the analysis that the nurse is working according to three pillars; screening, lifestyle changes and counselling/education. This result showed that what often increase difficulties when working with screening are: undefined guidelines, lack of time and resources. Overweight/obesity is one of many indicators to develop diabetes type 2, therefore it is important that both BMI and waist are measured.

Tropisk regnskog i Sydostasien är ett av de områden som hyser störst biodiversitet i världen, av vilken stora ytor är hotat. Ön Borneo drabbades av en katastrof åren 1982-1983 efter att väderfenomenet El Niño orsakat torka med vidsträckta skogsbränder som följd. Detta lämnade stora ytor av Borneos skogar i ett undermåligt, sekundärt tillstånd. På grund av detta startades INIKEA projektet med syfte att rehabilitera skogar i regionen kring Tawau vid östkusten av delstaten Sabah i Malaysia. I denna studie undersökte jag resultatet av rehabiliteringsarbetet på krontaket i tre olika skogstyper genom att ta hemisfäriska foton med en digital systemkamera (DSLR).

In the tropics, logging and wild fire can result in degraded secondary forests with lower biodiversity than in the natural forest. One way to limit forest degradation is to rehabilitate the present large areas of secondary forests. However, there is a lack of knowledge concerning the ecology of tropical tree species and further studies would be advantageous for future rehabilitation efforts of degraded rainforest. The objective of this study was to investigate how mother trees in secondary forest and different site factors affect the abundance and spatial distribution of natural regeneration of non-pioneer tree species in a tropical rainforest in Sabah, Malaysia. The study took place in the INIKEA Forest Rehabilitation Project area, which suffered from wild fire in 1983 and has been selectively logged over both before and after the fire. Natural regeneration and site variables were inventoried in plots, while mother trees were inventoried in the whole survey area.

Bakgrund:En Central venös kateter (CVK) är en plastkateter som mynnar i ett centralt kärl nära hjärtat och används bland annat för administrering av läkemedel och blodprodukter. Användandet av CVK ökar inom sjukvården och kan förutom på intensivvårdsavdelningarna även ses i hemsjukvården och i den övriga slutenvården. Av alla patienter som får en CVK drabbas tre till sju procent av en infektion i blodbanan och varje infektionstillfälle innebär ett ökat lidande och en förlängd sjukhusvistelse. Dessa infektioner kan förhindras genom att hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal följer evidensbaserade riktlinjer och åtgärder.Syfte: Att beskriva hur sjuksköterskan kan arbeta preventivt för att förhindra uppkomsten av infektioner i blodbanan hos patienter med central venös kateter.Metod: Studien som genomfördes var en systematisk forskningsöversikt. För att finna relevanta artiklar skapades inklusionskriterier och söktermer.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att följa implementeringen av ett nytt svensk evidensbaserat program, SkolKomet, med fokus på lärarnas upplevelser av implementeringsprocessen på en skola. Metoden för detta är en kvalitativ, explorativ fallstudie.
