The study seeks to from professionals perspectives describe and analyze the beliefs they have about women with intellectual disabilities and their pregnancy and motherhood. We will also discuss and reflect on the possible support that professionals find important for women to handle pregnancy and motherhood. The information has been gathered through interviews with five different professions that have come in contact with the audience in their work. In our material we found three distinctive perspectives: a child´s perspective, a parent´s perspective and a community perspective. From these perspectives, we could find many similarities in the informants´ perceptions, which resulted in different themes.

This study regards the Swedish documentation system, BBiC, which is translated from the English version LACS. BBiC is created to make sure that the children?s needs are put in centre of attention in child protection investigations. The BBiC-system becomes problematic regarding unaccompanied refugee children because of the parent-perspective which is a keystone in the system. Therefor BBiC creates discretion for the social worker which is not BBiC: s original intension.

The social imbalance recruitment has been a current topic for years. Since much research has focused on the higher education's problems with this, this thesis aims to investigate if you are already at the high school choice were influenced by your social background. To get a further dimension to this topic, the French sociologist Bourdieus thoughts on people's possession of, what he calls cultural capital was used, and we made use of it in the sense of parental education. Through a survey conducted in four ninth grades in two municipalities with different characteristics in terms of socio-economic conditions, we asked questions about their choice to high school. What programs did they choose? What factors were important? And which person had influenced them? The results showed a pretty clear dividing line between the pupils who came from homes with strong cultural capital to those who did not in the same sense.

In my opinion, the city is a place fit as much for children as for grown-ups. I have noticed, however, that this is not a view shared by everyone. Does not the urban space belong as much to children as to other people? Yes, of course. Today and in the future most people will live and grow to be adults in cities. I would even take it as far as to say that without children, there will be no real city.

Introduction: Today caring for newborn, sick babies or premature infants is in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). There is an opportunity in NICUs for advanced critical care and skilled nursing care of the child, conducted by health professionals in an active partnership with parents. To encourage parental participation in the care of their children parents are offered accommodation in a family room in the NICU. Objective: The aim is to describe parents' experience to stay in a family room in the NICU when their child is cared for there. Method: This is a research plan for a qualitative study with an inductive, descriptive approach.

We have interviewed twelve children between the age of eleven and thirteen years old. The children have either immigrated (adopted children are included) or are born in Sweden but have at least one parent who has immigrated.The outcome from our study is that immigrant children have a positive experience of their daily life in school and in their interactions with their teachers. The majority of children state that they view their teachers as good educationalists.

BAKGRUND: Barncancer drabbar inte bara det sjuka barnet utan också dess föräldrar. Eftersom föräldrarna är barnets trygga bas i livet, är det viktigt att också stödja dem. För att som sjuksköterska kunna ge en god omvårdnad till dessa föräldrar är det av stor vikt att få tillgång till samlad kunskap om föräldrarnas uttryckta behov av det stöd och bemötande de behöver från sjuksköterskor. SYFTE: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva vilket stöd och bemötande föräldrar till barn diagnostiserade med cancer behöver från sjuksköterskor. METOD: En kvalitativ litteraturbaserad studie av tidigare utförd forskning, där tretton vetenskapliga kvalitativa artiklar analyserades.

Syftet har varit att i en förstudie åt BRIO ta fram ett koncept till en ny barnvagn. Detta konceptska ligga till grund för fortsatt utvecklingsarbete hos företaget. This is a qualitative study with four interviews, in four different preschools, in the same municipality. By making it so, it becomes a case study to describe a phenomenon in a municipality which also is the definition for this investigation. The purpose of my study is to examine what it means, in a municipality, to have different types of introduction at preschool. Where I ask the question why preschools choose to have a specific method of introduction and what are the basics and ideas behind the choice of the method? What significance do these different methods have to attachment theory? What do teachers think about the advantages and disadvantages with their choice of method?The versions of introductions are many and may vary; the duration of the introduction may vary from 1-3 days up to 3 weeks.

Bakgrund: I dagens samhälle har varumärken kommit att spela en allt större roll för såväl konsumenter som företag. Varumärken fungerar som en ledsagare i individers sökande efter identitet och samtidigt som en gemensam nämnare eller tillhörighetsfaktor inom olika subkulturer. Företag kan med hjälp av symboliska värden sända ut signaler som stämmer överens med olika individers värderingar och på så sätt attrahera konsumenter och samtidigt ringa in en önskad målgrupp. Dock kan även det motsatta inträffa, det vill säga en annan grupp än den tänkta målgruppen kan komma att adoptera ett företags varumärke och göra detta till en del av gruppens image.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att identifiera och åskådliggöra hur en subkultur kan påverka det symboliska värdet av ett varumärke.Genomförande: För att uppnå syftet har det verkliga fenomenet hip-hopkulturens adoption av varumärket Adidas valts att empiriskt undersökas. Detta utifrån kvalitativa intervjuer gjorda med respondenter från hip-hopkulturen så som bland andra gruppen Latin Kings och Infinite Mass, tillsammans med personer från företaget Adidas, samt analyschefen på MTV Nordic Networks och radioproducenten Stefan Wermelin.Resultat: Denna undersökning visar bland annat på att en subkultur kan påverka det symboliska värdet på ett varumärke genom att inte enbart ta till sig de symboliska karaktärer varumärket står för, utan även överföra subkulturens värderingar på varumärkets image.
