Bakgrund: Varje år dör cirka 1000 svenskar av brustet abdominellt aortaaneurysm (AAA), pulsåderbråck. Sjukdomen är ofta asymtomatisk och därför vet patienten i de flesta fall inte att hon eller han har en sjukdom förrän aneurysmet upptäcks. Sverige har på senare år infört screening på män över 65 år för att hitta eventuella AAA. AAA upptäcks även vid annan undersökning av buken. Mortaliteten är hög vid ruptur (bristning) och patienten opereras först när aneurysmet nått en viss diameter.

In this thesis we have examined why the establishment process of travel destination is essential for the tour operators and how the process can be influenced by different conditions. The thesis is written from the perspective of the tour operators and with the tour operator Ving as our case study, we have been able to create a picture of how the establishment process of travel destination may look like.We have chosen to deal with some different areas in this thesis that all are important for the creation of a holistic picture of the process. The overall segments listed in this thesis are the process itself, the tourist, marketing, the product creation and demand. By connecting our theoretical framework to the collected empirical data from our case study, we have analyzed the establishment process and drawn our conclusions..

Syftet med denna studie var att kartlägga screeningsinstrument som mäter nutritionsstatus hos kritiskt sjuka samt se hur de används i vården. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie. Artiklar söktes i databaserna Cinahl och Medline. Tretton artiklar identifierades, efter kvalitetsgranskning, till studien. I resultatet framkom flera nutritionsscreeningsinstrument och tre utav dessa; SGA, MUST och NRS 2002, var mer anpassade för screening av kritiskt sjuka.

Andning, sväljning, tuggning, mimik och artikulation är delar av orofacial funktion (Bakke, Bergendal, McAllister, Sjogreen, & Asten, 2007). Oralmotoriken är viktig för talproduktion och födointag (Lundeborg Hammarström, 2010). Nordiskt Orofacialt Test- Screening (NOT-S) är ett screeningtest som används för att bedöma avvikande orofacial funktion (Bakke et al., 2007). Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur barn med typisk utveckling mellan 6:0- 8:0 år presterar på NOT-S, samt om det föreligger någon ålder- eller könsskillnad i utförandet av uppgifterna. I studien deltog 80 barn och deras föräldrar.

The goal of this project was to make the requirement process at the Swedish Coastguard more effective. The first step to achieve this was done by locating bottle necks in the process with value stream mapping method. The result of this study showed that the biggest restriction in the requirement process was while examining older requirement documents to understand what elements were suitable for the particular project. This was followed by a study of literature, interviews and theory of Lean Production with the ambition to investigate how the requirement process was handled on other companies and how to improve the process on the Swedish coast guard. This led to a number of potential enhancements of the process which later was evaluated.

Osteoporos är ett ökande hälsoproblem runt om i världen, vilket bör förebyggas, där en av tre kvinnor och en av tolv män över 50 år drabbas. I Sverige drabbas varje år cirka 70 000 personer av osteoporosrelaterad fraktur. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att genom en integrerad kunskapsöversikt beskriva den omvårdnad som riktar sig till patienter med osteoporos. Litteratursökningen skedde i två databaser med fokus att besvara frågeställningar om vilka omvårdnadsinterventioner som finns beskrivna, vilka kunskaper har sjuksköterskor och patienter om osteoporos samt vilken betydelse har kunskap om osteoporos i relation till människors sätt att engagera sig i sin hälsa. Litteratursökningen resulterade i 27 studier som analyserades med stöd av en matrismetod för systematiska kunskapsöversikter.

Networking is an important part, for organizations, in the recruitment process. This since the emergence of Internet networking has become more common and the organizations finds that networking is applied more frequently in the recruitment process. Organizations have noticed that networking often is a more cost efficient option compared to traditional recruitment. Since networking in the recruitment process has increased, we intend to investigate if and how it affects the composition of organizations. This thesis aims to examine networking in the recruiting process, and aims to make no differences between networking offline and online.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva sambandet mellan A nine test screening battery for athletes (NTSB) och prestationsparametrar för basketspelare i de svenska ungdomslandslagen.Studiedesignen var en tvärsnittsstudie där data från Svenska basketbollförbundets årligen utförda tester av kvinnliga och manliga ungdomslandslagsspelare i åldrarna 15-20 år analyserades. Totalt ingick 96 personer, varav 53 var kvinnor och 43 var män. Av dessa 96 personer deltog 49 vid europeiska mästerskapen (EM). Resultat Korrelationsberäkningar genomfördes mellan summascore på NTSB, NTSB:s enskilda tester och 10-20-30 m sprint, counter movement jump med armsving (CMJ(a) samt speltid vid EM. Total poäng på NTSB har i denna studie ett lågt samband mot prestationsparametrar.

Aim: The challenges that arise from the development of the digitalization are forcing organizations to adjust their activities and operations to meet the needs of the society and organization´s important stakeholders. To be able to keep up with the developments organizations are constantly changing. These changes must be communicated to their stakeholders in a way that makes sense to them and to ensure that mutual understanding is achieved for the change to be succesful throughout the organization. The main purpose of this paper is to study an organizations communication during a change process. The focus lies on organizational communication strategies and the sensemaking processes as organization communicates about the change to its important stakeholders.Contribution:This paper will contribute to the field of organizational communication by filling a gap on empirical studies of internal communication during an organizational change.Method: The main method for this paper is the qualitative interviews.

Requirements written by different people in different organizations were analyzed in order to sort out if there were some similarities? which could be used as standard elements in a future standardization of the process.

Bakgrund: Antalet drabbade kvinnor av livmoderhalscancer i Sverige är cirka 450 per år. Cirka en tredjedel av kvinnorna är under 40 år. I Sverige har insjuknandet av livmoderhalscancer minskat, troligen efter att regelbunden populations screening infördes på 1960-talet. Symtomen är få och diffusa och är därför svåra att upptäcka. Screening är en viktig undersökning för att upptäcka cancern tidigt.

Bakgrund Mäns våld mot kvinnor är ett globalt hälsoproblem, som spänner över såväl religiösa, geografiska som socioekonomiska gränser. En metod för att hitta dessa kvinnor är att administrera ett så kallat screeningverktyg eller frågeformulär. De tillgängliga verktygen är många och inget anses än vara vedertaget inom svensk hälso- och sjukvård.Syfte Att sammanställa en översikt av olika screeningverktyg som kan hjälpa sjuksköterskan att upptäcka mäns våld mot kvinnor.Metod Litteraturöversikt i form av en beskrivande sammanställning, baserad på tolv vetenskapliga artiklar av kvalitativ ansats.Resultat En sammanställning av sex screeninginstrument (ASI, HITS, PVS, STaT, WAST och WEB) presenteras. Frågeformulärens sensitivitet och specificitet redovisas, exempel på frågor samt styrkor och svagheter i formuläret beskrivs.Slutsats De sex beskrivna screeninginstrumenten har ett gemensamt syfte, att upptäcka våld. De skiljer sig åt i psykometriska egenskaper och är svåra att jämföra med varandra.

Hip dysplasia is a common, inherited malformation of the coxofemoral joint that eventually leads to osteoarthrosis. Several breeds of dogs are affected and the prevalence varies between different breeds. As part of the effort to reduce the prevalence of hip dysplasia and select dogs suitable for breeding, radiological screening is performed by at least 12 months of age. Before the radiological examination the dog has to be chemically restrained, sedated or anesthetized. The sedation protocol used differs between veterinary clinics. The impact of sedation method of the screening result for hip dysplasia has been studied.

Denna studie behandlar begreppen process och produkt. Syftet är att genom ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv undersöka några bildlärares syn på begreppen process och produkt i bildundervisningen på högstadiet. Tidigare har fokus legat på elevers färdiga produkt men idag är bedömningen i bildämnet mer fokuserad på elevers process (Skolverket, 2012:3). Undersökningen genomfördes genom  kavlitativa intervjuer. Intervjufrågorna är förankrade i Lindströms (2002:4-5) process- och produktkriterier.

The study aims to illustrate how women victims of male violence in intimate relationships are treated during the legal process and with professional perspective describe what women?s experiences considered to be in the legal process. The study also aims to draw attention to the interventions for abused women during the legal process.The results are based on interviews with professionals in the justice system, and on observations in the courtroom. Overall our results show that abused women are in need of a great quantity of help and support before, during and after the negotiation. The legal process is very stressful for the women.
