Matematiksvårigheter : En undersökning om elever med matematiksvårigheter
AbstractMy essay is about pupils with difficulties in mathematics. I have choosed to do a literaturestudy and interviews of teachers to get some answers to my framing of the questions.· What is mathematical difficulties?· How do we discover pupils with mathematical difficulties?· What can a teather do to facilitate for pupils with mathematical difficulties?· What resources is there to help pupils with mathematical difficulties?I have done my investigationin two Schools to be abel to see if the Schools are working in the same way and have the same prerequisite of pupils with mathematical difficulties.By doing an interview with both teachers and remedial teachers I have got a better insight how to help pupils in the best way. Both of this Schools are putting the pupils in the middle and give them wath they need to get to the destinations that claims. The procedure are not the same between the Schools.
Att marknadsföra kunskap : En studie av utbildningssektorn ur ett kommunikationsperspektiv
Marketing of education is a phenomenon which has been developed throughout the increasing competition within the educational sector. The focus of this paper is the marketing made by upper secondary Schools (grade 10-12) in Stockholm. The competition in this area is increasing partly due to the growing number of private Schools. However, this is a phenomenon seen only in larger cities with several Schools available. There are over 170 upper secondary Schools in Stockholm and the students freely can choose among these.

In the current situation there is not much written about assessment of laboratory work, and the majority of the working physics teachers are retiring and there are only a few newly qualified physics teachers. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how physics teachers assess laboratory work within upper secondary Schools, with Gy2011 in mind. The new grade system, Gy2011, has a larger focus on the laboratory work then the earlier system Lpf 94. Skolverket has in their man-ual with examples of assessment two different sorts of laboratory experiments. The first assess-ment is regarding the planning of a laboratory work and the other about how able the pupil exe-cutes laboratory work.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to examine how the religious education is implemented in junior and grammar school. As a base for my examination I used two private Schools and two municipal Schools. My main goal was to get a better view of the content of the education, the treatment of the students and the conditions for the students to get a greater understanding and respect for others? religious beliefs and opinions through education. To reach this goal I did interviews and field studies which means that the paper has a qualitative approach.The examination showed clearly that the private Schools spend a lot more education time on their respective religions while the municipal Schools have a more comprehensive education.
Bland "Masjävlar" och "Förortsungar" : - två skolors sätt att arbeta med nyanlända elever
The purpose of this essay is to find out how two Schools work with newly arrived children and to see how they differ. There is a lack of national directives for those who work with newly arrived children and teenagers; this makes the introduction very different between Schools.The study is qualitative, based on interviews with four teachers in two different compulsory Schools. One school is situated in a suburb of Stockholm and the other one is situated in a minor community in Dalarna. One Schools got a preparatory class for newly immigrated pupils and the other school doesn?t.The theoretical frame that I have chosen to analyse these interviews are literature and research on Bilingualism, Children with PTSD, Intercultural Pedagogy and Special PedagogyMy results also show that these Schools work very differently, and that there is very little co-operation within the school and with the units around the school, regarding these children.
"Gymnasietiden är en seriös tid..." : Värdegrundsarbete sett ur elevperspektiv
The overall aim of this study was to examine if there were any difference between two different upper secondary Schools with regard to the Schools' work with the basic values. Our supposition was that if there were differences between the Schools basic values work then it could be observed that the school that works more with the basic values has also more students expressed as a percentage who leave the school with final grades within four years. We have chosen to work with the qualitative method and made group interviews as well as individual interviews with six persons. We came to the conclusion that one of the Schools worked with the basic values continuously while the other school had the intention to do it but according to our interpretation the school didn't do it. It also appeared that one of the Schools had more students who finished school with final grades. The result that we have got showed that there is a difference between these two Schools in the basic values work and that the school that worked with this continuously has also bigger amount of students with final grades. During work on this study we discovered other issues that we hope someone else can answer in the future..

The purpose with this study is to examine what kind of support there is for school libraries at the selected independent upper secondary Schools and how these Schools ensure that libraryservices is available to their students and their teachers. The purpose is also to examine what attitudes the administrators of the Schools have to school libraries and teaching in information seeking. A qualitative method with interviews was used to fulfil the purpose. As a theoretical basis of the study Loertschers taxonomies of the school library media program and Limbergs three levels of pedagogic research were used and the interviews were analysed with these two theoretical frameworks as a background. The result of the study showed that neither one of the three examinated Schools has a school library which means that they use the public library instead.

During the last 20 years a new category of Schools, Schools for children with special needs, has settled to be a growing part of the Swedish school system. This is despite the political aim in Sweden to achieve an educational inclusion. The aim of this study is to compare the school situation for children with special needs in regular Schools with the situation in Schools for children with special needs. To investigate the routines associated with the change of school and the role of a neuropsychological diagnosis in the process. The main research questions were if the school is adapted to the needs of the child from a neuro-didactic point of view, whether the special school provides something the public school doesn?t and if the diagnosis helps to take pedagogical measures.
