Similar to work of the feminist movement in the seventies, you nowadays can see an increased level of textile art expressions with feminist standpoints. In this thesis I compare two textile artists from each time period. These are Maria Adlercreutz with her composition I hennes ögon bevaras folkets ljus from 1972, and Lisa Anne Auerbach?s exhibition Chicken Strikken from 2012. The aim is to put the two artists in a contemporary context and explore their feministic approaches in the textile field.

This study explores Environmental Storytelling techniques and whether these can beused in combination with each other to lead a player through a game scene in aspecific pattern, affect the player?s narrative and exploratory view and explorewhether Self-paced Exploration can be combined with these techniques.It is a qualitative study conducted by six gaming sessions with accompanyinginterviews in which six people get to play one of three versions of the same gamescene. The only differences between the scenes are the different guidance techniquesused. The informants' movement patterns are identified and interviews recorded byaudio, as well as screen recording. I samhället finns det en allmänt vedertagen uppfattning om att studenter inom socialt arbete har en negativ psykosocial och socioekonomisk bakgrund som är motiv till varför de studerar det de gör. Denna studies syfte är därför dels att undersöka vilken inverkan socioekonomisk och psykosocial bakgrund har på studenter inom socialt arbete vid val av utbildning, och dels att undersöka studenters uppfattningar om denna inverkan. Tidigare forskning visar på samband mellan trauman och valet att studera socialt arbete och att studenterna inom denna profession i större utsträckning kommer ifrån de lägre samhällsskikten. Studien är multidimensionell med empiri hämtad från en kvalitativ fokusgrupp och 249 kvantitativa enkäter. Empirin inhämtades hos studenter i västra Sverige som för närvarande studerar socialt arbete.

This project was about the creation of a shorter computer animated film. Thegoal of the project was to explore a different technique of the visual outcomethat should not rely on photorealistic rendering and how to find new interestingways to use 3d-graphic for visuals. A big part of the project was also toincorporate music to create a chosen atmosphere and impact on the viewer butalso to help the story forward and questions such as; ?How can you create anexpression for the feeling you want to transmit?? were formulated. The scenewas built up in a 3d-application consisting of a house and surrounding garden,which within an character was animated to tell the plot.

Personer utsätts dagligen för trauma. Att hamna i ett trauma innebär för patienten att hamna i en situation av totalt kaos, i en situation som han/hon inte har någon kontroll över. De känner sig utlämnade och upplever en total skräck. När patienten kommer in på traumarummet koncentrerar sig traumateamet i det kritiska skedet på mestadels på de fysiologiska aspekterna av vård och överlevnad. Undersökningarna (A till E) behöver vara avklarade innan uppmärksamhet ges till patienten.

This study is case study of political participation among the Kani tribe from Kuttichal grama panchayat in the Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala, India. The study is based on the collected data of 117 people of the Kani tribe living in four different settlements: Pankavu, Mangode-Valippara, Chonampara and Kaithode. The aim of the study is to examine the impact on political participation by different factors, which is done by the use of the quantitative method of cross tables. The study confirms previous studies in its conclusion that high status individuals, defined in terms of education and economic standard, are the group of the highest political participation, when this is defined as being involved in political work and holding a party membership. On the local political scene however, where political participation consists of participation in local assemblies and voluntary work, the impact of the examined variables are very limited.

Bakgrund: Inom hälso- och sjukvården syftar begreppet livskvalitet till att leva ett gott liv. Vårdandets syfte är att lindra lidande och finna vägar till att möjliggöra välbefinnande, vilket kan upplevas trots närvaro av till exempel sjukdom och lidande. I Sverige drabbas årligen mellan 1800 och 4000 människor av frakturer i kotpelaren till följd av trauma, där omkring 120 människor får en ryggmärgsskada som följd. Beroende på skadans lokalisation och utbredning kan det resultera i fysiska konsekvenser som förlamning och ett liv i rullstol. Traumat i sig kan dessutom innebära psykologiska följder som exempelvis depression.Syfte: Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturöversikt är att beskriva livskvalitet och välbefinnande hos människor med traumatisk ryggmärgsskada.Metod: Systematisk litteraturöversikt baserad på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som hämtats från databaserna CINAHL, psycINFO och PubMed.

There are differences today amongst psychoanalysts regarding if psychoanalysis should limit itself to being exclusively a hermeneutic discipline or if psychoanalysis should find points of contact with neurobiology. The purpose of this essay is to touch upon the larger issue that creates the different points of view: Can psychoanalysis become enriched by finding points of contact with neurobiology, and should psychoanalysis be regarded as belonging to a broader scientific field than being exclusively a human science? The question at issue is: Can modern neurobiology contribute to a development of the psychoanalytic concepts; compulsion to repeat, transference/countertransference and talking cure? The method used is a literature study. The result shows that: Freud?s theories regarding traumatic compulsion to repeat can be linked with LeDoux?s theory of "emotional memory".

This essay examines how humor is used in the making of stereotypes in the Kronlöf sister?s video SÅ JÄVLA PK! In addition I give my analysis of how power and resistance is shown in the video. Through Michel Foucault?s conception power and resistance together with Judith Butler?s theories about performativity I?d like to show how the characters you can see in the video, in addition to the humor, also put themselves in a public context. I discuss my material in relation to a number of similar and current events that concern sexism and racism in Sweden.
