AbstractThe aim of my study has been to investigate which expectations students at The Hotel and Restaurant Programme have for their futue working life and labour market. I want to investigate if these expectations are important factors that female dominance is large within the meal service sector. I have chosen to do qualitative interviews to discover these expectations.Some explanations that the respondent give for the gender differences within the restaurant and meal service sectors are the old tradition of male and female work. Furthermore the possibility of becoming well known within the market and the possibility for personal development in this market are described as important factors.The answers to my questions show that all respondents are positive to future work markets; also they all want to work within the restaurant sector and not in the meal service sector. The reasons for their choice cannot give a complete explanation to why female dominance is so big within the meal service sector.Keywords: Gender, status and celebrity-hood..

Enterprise learning is a pedagogic concept that implies that the students, in correlation with development of theoretical, subject specific knowledge, also develops enterprise competences that will be useful in their everyday life and on the labour market. Enterprise learning has grown over the last ten years, as well in school practicing as within research. In the mathematics subject, a strong educational tradition has delayed the introduction of enterprise learning. At the examined school, enterprise mathematics has been introduced during the spring term of 2010. This examination focuses on which of the enterprise competences that are developed and how they are developed.

The purpose of this qualitative thesis is to describe and analyse the implementation of an education system in the newly independent state, Timor Leste. One question to be discussed is whether an emergency phase is still going on in the development of a functioning school system, or if Timor Leste already reached a capacity building phase? Via the participant's answers in field observations and interviews, the study analyses the clashes between generations, social classes and different levels in relation to the choice of Portuguese as an official language and the international environment in the country. One of the aims of this report has been to make an inventory of the building trade market to see which document handling systems that are available. The secondary aim was to document the users´ demands on the systems and other demands such as quality assurance. After this, the document handling systems Byggnet and Lotus Notes, which are rather complex systems, have been analysed. Finally a recommendation has been made. Despite the growth and the need for more houses only a few new housing units are being built every year. Critics argue that if the building rate stays as it is today the development of the city will be very limited since there is no capacity for the city to embrace new incomers.The decision makers in the municipality of Stockholm are planning for large investments in housing units for the coming years up until 2030. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka om religionslärare på grundskolans senare år upplever en konflikt mellan läroplanens mål om en icke-konfessionell, saklig och allsidig undervisning och den tradition som finns inom religionskunskapen med en nära koppling till kristendomen. Undersökningen bygger dels på litteraturstudier, där jag ger en bakgrund till och en definition av relevanta begrepp som icke-konfessionell undervisning, saklig och allsidig undervisning, sekularisering, religionsfrihet samt mångkultur, dels intervjuer med tio religionslärare i Jönköpings kommun. Resultatet visar att lärarna inte upplever någon konflikt kring detta något motsägelsefulla, men att de är mycket medvetna om problematiken som finns kring dessa begrepp och kopplingen till undervisningen i religionskunskap..

Syftet med studien är att identifiera och beskriva nutida folksångares gestaltning vid nyinspelning av ljudande arkivmaterial från Svenskt Visarkiv. Genom transkriptioner, ljudhändelsebeskrivningar och analyser av tre arkivinspelningar från Svenskt Visarkiv och fyra nutida inspelningar med samma musikaliska material har studier av olika förändrings-faktorer gjorts. Studien utgår från teorier om tyst kunskap, kulturarv och tradition.Resultatet visar att faktorer som förhållandet till puls, utsmyckningar och melodivariationer; röstanvändning och instrumentanvändning är förändrade i de nutida inspelningarna. By tradition horses are weaned at an age of 5-6 months. This study illuminates weaned foals misdirected suckling behaviour, which means that they try to suckle another foal. Since no information about this issue is presented, we decided to perform a behaviour study on weaned foals. The misdirected suckling behaviour was studied on a group with 7 foals, with both fillies and colts. In the group the weaning age varied between 147 days and 215 days, and the first time we observed them, they had been separated from the mares for 12 days.

This report describes the process of developing a user-friendly and responsive archive website. The website is a Hi-fi prototype and was created for the company JG Communications, to serve as an archive for their customers? style guidelines. To create this website I have used HTML5 and CSS3 to make it responsive for various computer screens. I have also used PHP and some JavaScript to make some of the functions and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to make design elements for the prototype.
