A protection helmet for young people (3-7 years) in winter environment has been developed in this thesis. The result is a concept proposal for development at STIGA Sports AB in Eskilstuna. This thesis work has been performed during 20 weeks, for a Master of Science in Product and Process development at Mälardalen University Eskilstuna Sweden in September 2009 to January 2010. The helmet is shown as a CAD model with detailed solutions to the outer shell, interior and adjustability (in sizes 50-56 cm) which are the three focused areas in the development. Also a physical model in scale 1:1 has been developed and is shown in this thesis work.To achieve the best result possible the process started with an analysis of the market and the product.

Molntjänst är inget nytt begrepp men det är en trend som nu blivit mer aktuell än någonsin. Det har funnits olika typer av lagringstjänster via internet i över tio år men nu har trenden molntjänst blossat upp till att bli högaktuellt inom IT-branschen. För kunden innebär en molntjänst att de köper de funktioner eller tjänster som de har behov av via internet och leverantören hanterar administration och drift. Kunden behöver dessutom inte ha lika mycket hårdvara och programvara internt. Något som är aktuellt nu är att allt fler affärssystemsleverantörer börjar erbjuda sina kunder att lägga affärssystem i molnet.

The company also want to reduce their expenses inthe continuous process of improving profitability. By choosing the right option oftransportation and mode of transport there are large potential savings for the company. Thisenables Nilorn to reduce the transportation costs and strengthen the environmentalresponsibilities by reducing their environmental impact.The flow of goods within Nilorn has over the past years increased significantly and most ofthe gods today is transported by air. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the supply chain of thecompany and evaluate the potential economic savings in this area.

Burträsk ligger vackert i landskapet cirka 40 kilometer sydväst om Skellefteå med omkring 1600 invånare. Ortens centrum har förändrats med tiden och en del butikslokaler står idag tomma. Ett antagande är att antalet butiker inte kommer att öka till den nivå det en gång har varit. Omställningen som skett i centrum har försvagat en tydlig mötesplats för invånare och besökare. Kamvägen som går genom centrum fungerar som genomfartsled i samhället vilket präglar trafiksituationen med tung trafik.

Det traditionella lantbruket minskar mer och mer, gårdarna som fortsätter med lantbruk blir större och mer nischade på antingen djur eller växtodling. Det är många som helt lägger ner sin produktion för att ge plats åt något annat på gården som t.ex. bed and breakfast-ställen, spa, m.m. När produktionen läggs om och företagen nysatsar så är det mycket att tänka på. En ny affärsidé ska arbetas fram och kalkyler beräknas.

This is achieved through semi-structured interviews with 20 different interviewees. These interviewees represent different facets of the industry and facilitate an understanding of which factors, such as: investment costs, operating costs, reliability, environmental impact and the influence of external and internal actors, come into play and to which degree they impact the investment decision-making process. The results show that primarily low operating cost in the form of low energy consumption is the driving factor when it comes to the procurement of new equipment. A lower environmental impact is a positive side-effect of lower energy consumption.

This master thesis was conducted at Motala Wire Works Ltd (MWW) in Motala during the autumn and winter of 2007-2008. The thesis named ?Future layout of Motala Wire Works? focuses on making a better planed layout for the factory, which also take in to consideration future changes.Motala Wire Work produces wire mesh products of varying sorts for the white goods industry. The factory was started by Electrolux during the 1950?s.

Boulognerskogen is a park in the central of Skövde that have had a health resort, paths for strolling, outdoor-bath, outdoor-sport areas and events. During the 1970:th there was a lack of interest for the park and very few visited it. By a motion from a resident in Skövde wich proposes that a city playground will be build in Boulognerskogen gave me an opportunity to investigate how the potential of the park can be used to create a funny and nice place to visit for children in company with adults. By a program that contains the main goals and design program for a city playground in Boulognerskogen, I wanted to present a proposal that could meet childrens needs to play and to use the conditions of the place to create places to play in, and where children in company with adults could be together. To reach this, I wanted to try different methods that could lead to a proposal that was well supported by children and adults, and wich was possible to use by the local authority in their further actions. The methods that I used was therefor an important part of the work. I have choosen to define the concept "city playground" as a greater playground situated in the center of the town that are suitable for outings and as a meetingplace, with a varation in playground attractions and promote children and adults to be together, aiming at younger children in the ages of 1-10 years in company with adults, but should also give space to activities of other groups.

Arbetet behandlar en tätorts utveckling i förhållande till en större stad och i anslutning till värdefull natur och jordbruksmark. Förhållandet mellan mindre orter och städer blir alltmer utsatt med tanke på det ökade pendlingsavståndet, högre krav på boendemiljö osv. Förhållandet mellan stad och land är därför en viktig del i utvecklingen av mindre orter och städer. Trönninge som är ett litet samhälle norr om Varberg har stor potential att växa eftersom det kan erbjuda ett lugnt boende nära natur och med ett cykelavstånd till Varberg centrum. Samhället har fina naturområden och en rik kulturhistoria men saknar ett livfullt centrum och en tydlig mötesplats.

?Det är väl någon form av tantjympa, där ni plockar äpplen och leker kissande hundar?. Detta anser Friskis&Svettis vara många ungdomars syn på föreningen i en undersökning gjord i syfte att locka unga medlemmar. Friskis&Svettis är en ideell förening utan vinstintresse. Tyvärr har man de senaste åren dragit på sig ett ofördelaktigt rykte, i synnerhet bland ungdomar som har den etablerade uppfattningen att föreningen endast är till för ?medel Svensson?.
