JuniSyfte:                                                   Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka de ekonomiska förutsättningarna som finns att tillverka pellets i Brasilien för export till Europa.Metod:      Studien har använt en kvalitativ metodansats där datainsamlingen för empiriavsnittet består främst av semistrukturerade öppna intervjufrågor, som skickades till respondenterna via mejl. Sedan skedde kontakt via telefonsamtal för att säkerställa att informationen var korrekt uppfattad. Respondenternas svar redovisas i empirikapitlet och har analyserats och bearbetats med hjälp av två teorier inom marknadsföring, nämligen marknadsföringsmix (de 4 P: na) och SWOT-analys.Resultat & slutsats:                              Resultatet visar att i nuläget är det inte lönsamt att exportera pellets från Brasilien till Europa. Priserna för pellets på den europeiska marknaden är för låga, en höjning med cirka USD 50/ton är nödvändig för en godtagbar lönsamhet.

Under senare tid har företaget sett att lagret i Norge utgör en stor kostnad. Mälarenergi AB ägs av Västerås stad och är ett kommunalägt energibolag som verkar i Mälardalsregionen. Enligt van Weele (2012) utgör ett företags inköpskostnad cirka 50 % av nettoomsättningen vilket innebär att inköpskostnaden är en viktig del i företagens resultat. Mälarenergi har under 2012 påbörjat en centralisering av inköpsfunktionen, där en del av arbetet inkluderar inköpsstrategiska åtgärder för att klassificera företagets varor och tjänster.Syftet med denna studie var att genomföra en klassificering av koncernen Mälarenergi AB:s varor och tjänster för att reducera koncernens totala inköpskostnader. För att kunna genomföra klassificeringen samt svara på tillhörande frågeställningar valde författarna att genom en förstudie intervjua en inköpsexpert vid Linköpings universitet samt en inköpschef på ABB. Detta resulterade i att författarna kunde få feedback på sitt förslag på tillvägagångssätt för klassificeringen då dessa personer kunde dela med sig av sina erfarenheter av klassificeringsarbete.

ABSTRACTTitel: Lagen Om Valfrihet: Kommun och konkurrens vid marknadsföring.Nivå: C uppsats i ämnet företagsekonomiFörfattare: Carina Eriksson och Mathias BerglundHandledare: Per-Arne WikströmDatum: Juni 2012Syfte: Arbetet avser att undersöka om kommunal verksamhet kan och får konkurrera med privata utförare när det gäller marknadsföring. Vidare syftar uppsatsen till att ta reda på om kommunal verksamhet och privata aktörer konkurrerar på lika villkor.Metod: Vi har valt att implementerar en kvalitativ metod. Vi började med att utföra en datainsamling för att sedan gå vidare med att framställa relevanta intervjufrågor som vi tänker ställa till respondenterna. Utöver primärdata som använts består sekundärdata av bland annat väsentlig litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: I resultatet har vi inte kommit fram till något konkret svar om kommunen och privata aktörer får konkurrera på samma villkor när det gäller att marknadsföra sig. Utifrån det material vi tagit del av kan ett konstaterande ändå göras att de privata aktörerna har större möjlighet till variation i sin verksamhet, än vad kommunen har.

Historien om helande platser i naturen, ställen som ansågs påverka människans välbefinnande, är lång. Naturens återhämtande hälsoeffekter är däremot ett relativt nytt forskningsfält. Två teorier dominerar inom forskningen, Stephen och Rachel Kaplans teori om hur sinnena påverkas av intryck och Roger Ulrichs teori om reaktioner som sker instinktivt i kroppen. Båda teorierna utgår från stressteori då det är ett tydligt sätt att mäta välmående. Det är utifrån dessa teorier som designaspekter för helande trädgårdar har växt fram.
