ECG-Screening for young elite athletesAbstractBackgroundSudden cardiac death (SCD) during physical activity is a frightening and emotional tragedy that draws huge media attentions when it occurs. Fortunately it is a relatively uncommon occurrence but happens nonetheless to young athletes who often seems to be in perfect health. SCD is used as a term for sudden unexpected complications on the cardiovascular system that leads to a deadly outcome normally within the first hour of onset of symptoms and the cause is some sort of underlying cardiovascular disease that gets triggered by physical activity.Normally athletes gets divided into two groups dependent on age, over and under 35 years, and this studies focus is on the younger group since it is often during this period athletes are at the elite level. It is also in this category the most unexpected sudden deaths occur that is not due to coronary atherosclerosis, which is the dominant cause of death, and drastically increases, for people over 35 years old.AimThe aim of this study was to scientific and unbiased analyze peer-reviewed clinical articles todescribe the pros, cons and cost to implement an ECG-screening as a standard before physicalactivities for specifically defined elite athletes.MethodA systematic review was performed and after all data collection 21 articles was chosen to beused as a base for both background and analyze. At the end 10 articles was fulfilling the criteria to be used at the analyze and later the results.ResultsThe implementation of ECG-screening has reduced SCD in Italy by 89 % between the years 1979-2004.

 Prostitution has been intensely debated in Sweden for nearly four decades. Two major investigations have so far been initiated by the government and numerous propositions have been put forward in the Swedish parliament resulting in the sexköpslag from 1999 that criminalizes purchase of sexual services. The law aims at punishing the buyer and protecting the women in prostitution, thus making it possible for women to be helped by various social interventions rather than punished. Swedish society has undergone major changes in these decades. Globalization, the internet and the membership in the EU have changed the Swedish society and influenced the discourse on prostitution.This paper has a twofold aim, on the one hand investigating if and how these changes have had an impact on the prostitution discourse in texts produced by the government and analyze how female and male sexuality in connection to prostitution is constructed.

A similar element, DUSE, has been found in front of ncRNAs in the social amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum and a part of this project has been to analyze the function of this putative promoter element through cloning and expression studies. A construct to analyze the func-tion of DUSE was successfully designed and introduced into D. discoideum but full expression studies were not finished because of shortage of time.

The purpose of this essay, ?Now they are chasing paper-less - A qualitative discourse analysis of mass medias depiction of the Reva-project and the work of the police?, is to analyze how mass media portrays the Reva-project and polices work with the project. The basis for the essay will be eight selected newspapers. Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the European Union are currently facing many challenges one being access to financing due to high risk and probability of default, another being cross-border taxation issues with double taxation and information asymmetry. Since the aim within the EU is to be the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world with sustainable economic growth and social cohesion it is essential that the EU operates as a single market. Despite this need, harmonization continues to be far from achieved in the area of direct taxation which also affects the integration and growth opportunities for SMEs. In the Agenda for Entrepreneurship, the Home State Taxation regime, which is based on formula apportionment, has been proposed by the Commission as one option in order to mutually recognize the different Member States? taxation systems to facilitate cross-border activities and reduce ?red-tape?.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att upprätta ett förslag över hur man kan utveckla ön Ljusterö i Stockholms skärgård samtidigt som man säkerställer och bevarar de kvaliteter som finns på ön. Examensarbetet syftar också till att utreda hur man kan integrera Ljusterö i en växande förortskommun samtidigt som man bibehåller öns specifika karaktärsdrag. Ljusterö ligger i Österåkers kommun ca 3 mil norr om Stockholm. Ön genomgår i nuläget en omfattande permanentomvandling, dvs då befintliga fritidshusområden omvandlas till permanentboenden. Detta ställer ökade krav på infrastrukturen, som exempelvis nya vägar, vatten- och avlopp och snöröjning. På ön finns flera områden som är av kulturhistoriskt värde, samt områden som är klassade som ekologiskt särskilt känsliga områden.

Uppsatsen jämför (a) Restaurang- och livsmedelsprogrammet med inriktningen bageri och konditori (RL-BAG) och (b) Livsmedelsprogrammet mot bageri (LP-BAG) i relation till varandra och fortsatta akademiska studier. Det är motsvarande program från Gy11 respektive Gy2000. Frågeställningen fokuserar på skillnaden mellan RL-BAG och LP-BAG gällande behörigheten och tillgång till akademiska utbildningar vid två lärosäten. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur skillnaden ser ut för de aktuella gymnasieprogrammen. Att det finns en skillnad är redan konstaterad i bl.a. utformningen av den nya gymnasieskolan. En aspekt att se på uppsatsen är att den har en utvärderande funktion av den senaste gymnasieförordningens yrkesprogram (Gy11). Metoderna som används i undersökningen är i huvudsak kvantitativa (i skildringen/resultatet).

In the light of the recent swedish switch from the swedish classification system SAB to DDC, this research area deserves prominence. The aim of this study is to investigate how DDC represents the historical development of the psychology subject with its underlying epistemology, to identify and analyze values and prejudice, and to analyze problems with DDC?s classification of psychology in relation to three other classification systems.

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze two factors contributing to child labor in Ghana, one of the world's largest producers of cocoa. These two factors are: poor countries economic and political dependency on the rich countries, political leader?s ambitions and decisions. We will also describe and analyze the UN's efforts and measures to combat child labor. The method we used was a case study of child labor in Ghana?s cocoa industry together with interviews.

Syfte: Att undersöka problematiken kring hur vindkraftsprojektering påverkarbostadsmarknaden.Vad har spekulanter för attityd till fastigheter vid etablerad och planeradvindkraftverk? Vad finns det för fördelar samt nackdelar ivindkraftsetableringen utifrån ett bostadsmarknadsperspektiv? Vad harfastighetsmäklare för erfarenheter av fastighetsförsäljningar vid etablerad ochplanerad vindkraft?Metod: Kvalitativ studie med tre semistrukturerade personintervjuer, femstrukturerade telefonintervjuer samt en strukturerad e-postintervju. Dessa harvi återberättat i berättelser där samtliga respondenter har påhittade namn för attskydda deras intresse.Resultat: Styrkor vindkraftsetablering medför är att det bidrar till att minskautsläpp och öppnar upp för en ny marknad då många exploatörer vill investeraoch etablera vindkraftverk. Oro hos medborgare och spekulanter tillfastigheter i närheten av planerad och etablerad vindkraft i nuläget kanbetraktas som en nackdel. Det resulterar till reducerade fastighetspriser påbostadsmarknaden där vindkraft anträffas.Slutsats: Vindkraftverk är ett bra alternativ till dagens största energikällor.Fastighetsmäklare har märkt av en negativ påverkan på bostadsmarknaden.Kommuner har mött motstånd till vindkraftsetableringar på grund av deninverkan som vindkraftverk har på sin omgivning.

As the staffing agency business is rapidly growing and suffering from accidents resulting in higher sick leave than in other businesses, it is of great interest to analyze which responsibilities prevail between the customer companies and the staffing agencies, when it comes to working environment for hired staff.The purpose of this essay is to clarify the distribution of responsibilities between customer companies and staffing agencies, regarding working environment. I would also like to analyze which consequences this distribution of responsibilities may lead to.To be able to answer these questions, I have chosen to use the legal dogmatic method together with the sociology of law method. I have studied legal sources, literature and also interviewed three persons who are active within the staffing agency business; one person from the Swedish Work Environment Authority, one person from the employers? side and one person from the employees? side.The conclusion of my survey is that the SAM-responsibility is divided equally between staffing agencies and customer companies, since the customer company who hires staff is equated with an employer. The employer must also ensure that there is an organized work adaptation and rehabilitation function within the company.
