Svenska soldaters upplevelse av återgången till vardagslivet i Sverige. : Stöd - Hjälp - Hinder

The main focus of this study is to explore Swedish soldiers? experiences of the transition back to everyday life after international service missions. This includes the help and support that they have received and also what barriers to care they have experienced during the transition back to everyday life. The theoretical perspectives of this study are social identity and stigma theory. This study was performed using a qualitative method and includes six individual interviews with active duty officers within the Swedish armed forces.

Kartläggning av ruttplaneringsprocesser för rundvirkestransportörer

Transportation represents 10-15 % of wood supply costs. It is therefore important to improve efficiency in the transport system to decrease these costs. The aim of this study is to map the timber vehicle routing processes used by a sample of timber hauling contractors and to identify possible links between the vehicle routing process and service and economic variables. The study was carried out at Södra Skog in autumn 2008. 15 timber hauling contractors were sampled and interviewed about their work with timber transports.

Lojalitetsskapande hos anställda på fristående hotell

The hotel sector has reviewed big changes, as higher requirements on independent hotels have been set. In order to be able to compete with big hotel chains, it is no longer sufficient to only use the 4P of marketing mix, it is also required a bigger focus on the personnel. Trained and service aimed employees are service companies' intangible assets and they become more important. Globalisation and internationalisation has however contributed to that the labor market has become more open, and employees easier can compare employment conditions or change job.The aim of this essay is to analyze and to evaluate conditions for the internal marketing at independent hotels, in order to be able to achieve employee loyalty. The essay builds on a comparison between managers' and employees' views about internal marketing.A qualitative hermeneutical study has been used in order to be able to analyze and evaluate conditions for the independent hotels' internal marketing.

?Vi är inga maskiner? : En studie om P4-redaktionernas kommunikation via Facebook

The purpose of this study is to see how five different local radio stations, P4, within the public service organization Sveriges Radio communicate with their listeners through Facebook and how they differ from each other.We have also studied how the radio stations follow Sveriges Radios? policies for socialmedia usage and how the communication through Facebook can benefit thetraditional radio. Our study contains a combination of quantitative content analysis with qualitative interviews. We studied the five stations? Facebook pages from for the quantitative content analysis and interviewed those who were responsible for the social media pages, such as web editors and channel managers.Our conclusions are that the P4-stations communicate through Facebook to create a dialogue with the listeners and to reach two-way communication; the stations published mostly written updates that encouraged interactivity.

Krishantering vid brand i fastigheter

Den 6.e februari 2011 skedde en brand i Henry Ståhl Fastigheter AB:s fastighet i kvarteret Gripen på Skolgatan i Norrköping. Agerandet vid denna brand samt teori inom områdena kris och krishantering, kontinuitetsplanering och förebyggande åtgärders vid brand ligger till grund för följande examensarbete. Syftet med rapporten är att kartlägga förvaltarens/ägarens agerande och tillvägagångssätt vid krishantering i samband med brand i fastighet med fokus på service. Material till denna studie har inhämtats genom litteraturstudier och intervjuer. Gällande egenskaper en bra hjälpare i krissituation bör inneha, så som empati, kunskap och engagemang, kan dessa urskiljas hos kundansvariga på Ståhl.

Marketing tools in grocery retailing, do they affect store loyalty?

The purpose of this study is to provide a longitudinal examination, within grocery retailing, of four marketing tools and their impact on enhancing customer loyalty. The study examines whether the relationship between the four marketing tools and customer satisfaction has a positive effect on attitude and behavior loyalty. The findings from this study show that the marketing tools have not helped enhancing loyalty between 2004 and 2007. Between these years, service quality has the most affect on loyalty. Self-scanning as an effective marketing tool could be questioned, the relation in this study is not supported.

Biblioteksservice till barn med utländsk bakgrund - vilken service skulle kunna erbjudas på bibliotek i segregerade förorter

The aim of the paper is to examine how public libraries can develop their services for children with ethnic minority backgrounds as a user group. This is achieved through studying the conditions for library services provided for children aged 9-12 in this group by public libraries in suburbs densely populated with ethnic minorities. The paper uses both a literature review and empirical research on the community libraries in Rinkeby and Rosengård as well as the town library in Lund. Services potentially available to these groups are analysed and discussed in the later chapters. The overall conclusion is that those services provided for ethnic minority children are largely the same as those provided for in children library services in general.

En studie av utvecklingen av drivningsnettot i skogsbruket :

This master thesis consists of an investigation of the profitability per hectare in privatly owned forest land. The investigation is based on data collected from Skogsstyrelesen, Riksskogstaxeringen and Skogsforsk. During the last twenty years the prices on pulp wood and saw log have substantial decreased, but during the same time the the volumes from final felling have increased and the cost for felling has decreased, this investigation shows how the netprofit per hectARE after final felling has changed between year 1980-2005 This investigation shows that that the netprofit has stayed on a stable level during the years 1985-2005 even though prices pulp wood and saw log decreased. Much indicates that the demand of swedish pulp wood and saw log will continue to be strong or even stronger wich will give increased prices and an higher netprofit after final felling in the future.

WBD ? Web Based Diagnostics : Identifierande av parametrar på CAN-bussen

Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete för högskoleingenjörsexamen i datorteknik vid Växjö universitet, utfört av Philip Albertson. Vid företaget BSR i Växjö pågår utvecklingen av en ny teknik benämnd Web Based Diagnostics. Målet med projektet är att göra fordonsdiagnostik tillgängligt för bilägare till ett bra pris. Systemet består av tre delar; en modul som sätts i bilen, en server som hanterar informationen och en klient för att kunden ska kunna nå informationen. Min del i detta projekt var att identifiera hur sökta parametrar nås på CAN-bussen i bilar från VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) och Saab.

The project has been performed at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB?s service department. The company which is located in Finspång produces, sells and provides service for steam and gas turbines around the world.The purpose of this project is to help Siemens develop their maintenance programs for two of the auxiliary systems which are a part of the complete steam turbine system. These are lube and control oil systems.The project is restricted to two of Siemens maintenance products, No Stop Check (NSC) and the annual Safety Inspection (SI).

Kundregisterbaserat kalkylprogram för lokal och serveransluten användning

Byggnadsautomation har i dagsläget ett kalkylprogram gjort i Excel som är helt fristående från deras kvalitetsprogram. Dom vill i och med detta få ett två delat system som användaren både ska kunna köra med eller utan anknytning till Internet. Programmet har tillgång till en befintlig kund och komponentregister som man kommer åt via en Web Service. Om det inte finns någon Internet uppkoppling så kommer dessa register att sparas lokalt för att sedan synkroniseras när det finns tillgång till Internet. En kalkyl ska kunna sparas och öppnas antingen på servern eller lokalt som i detta fall är en SQLite databas.

This master?s thesis will examine the concept of ?fixed establishment? in VAT-law. The concept can be found in the new EC-directive on the common system of value added tax, however it has existed for thirty years in previous directives. Despite this, the legislator has never provided a proper definition of the concept. Its meaning has therefore evolved through the case-law of the ECJ.The Court has put forward a number of criteria which are all to be met if a fixed establishment is to be at hand.

Nya förutsättningar en jämförelse mellan traditionellt och elektroniskt referensarbete.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the differences between the traditional way of conducting a reference interview and the electronic way. The main questions of this thesis are: How does the electronic reference interview appear in comparison to the traditional one? How do the librarians experience the differences? Is quality affected in the electronic reference interview? Examples from Fråga biblioteket Ask the Library have been used in this study. The method used in the investigation is based on qualitative interviews in combination with studies of relevant and recent literature. The librarians interviewed all have experience from both traditional and electronic reference work.

Redovisning av humankapital : i de svenska bankerna mellan 1997-2005

Medarbetares kompetens går inte att värdesätta i kronor för företag men det finns andra sätt de kan redovisa sina medarbetare, ofta företagens största resurs. Denna uppsats handlar om hur humankapital redovisas i årsredovisningarna hos Föreningssparbanken, Handelsbanken, Nordea och SEB för åren 1997, 2001 och 2005. Vi undersöker dels om den regelstyrda redovisningen gällande humankapitalet finns med och dels vilka frivilliga upplysningar bankerna lämnar i respektive årsredovisning. De aktuella författare och forskare, vars publikationer, inom detta område vi har använt oss av har alla förslag på olika mått om hur humankapital kan redovisas. Dessa mått och de som finns i gällande regelverk har vi sedan tillsammans med vår egen definition av humankapital omarbetat till en checklista för att ha som stöd i innehållsanalysen av årsredovisningarna.

Hållbar och framgångsrik? : samband mellan hållbarhetsprestanda och finansiella aspekter i börsföretag

Many companies have historically forced their interests through without any thoughts about the future needs of the humans and the society. In the last few years voices have been raised for a change, companies need to take their responsibility regarding sustainable development.The purpose of the report is to describe and explain possible relations between sustainabil-ity performance of companies and profitability, valuation, industry and size respectively.To be able to judge the sustainability performance of the companies Folksam (2006a) have been used. This is a solid investigation of the companies listed on the A- and O-lists of the Stockholm Stock Exchange by the end of 2005. The sustainability marks have been com-pared with the chosen key values for each hypothesis respectively. With this quantitative data as foundation, a quantitative approach and a deductive method have been used.In the first area of the investigation, profitability, the authors found correlation for the main hypothesis between sustainability performance and ?Return on Total Assets? through a statistical test.
