Studien är en källstudie vars syfte är att undersöka huruvida SARA B-SAFER fungerar som riskbedömningsinstrument och om brottsutvecklingen för våld mot kvinnor i nära relationer har ökat eller minskat under tidsperioden, åren 2000-2012. Urvalet för studien är Kalmar polismyndighet och Södertörn polismästardistrikt. Underlaget för studien är tidigare forskning från hur Polisen har arbetat med SARA B-SAFER och offentlig statistik på antalet anmälda brott från Brottsförebyggande rådet (BRÅ). Resultaten i studien visar på en ökning av antalet anmälda brott för våld mot kvinnor i nära relationer, samtidigt som anmälningarna ligger på en förhållandevis jämn nivå. Vidare indikerar studien på att det finns en komplexitet kring SARA B-SAFER som riskbedömnings-instrument, då det finns indikationer på att instrumentet har en prediktiv validitet.

In January 2004 two members of the Pentecostal community Knutby Filadelfia in Uppsalamunicipality, Sweden, were shot by their fellow member Sara Svensson. With a qualitative hermeneutic case study as the principal method this essay takes on the task of not only investigating if and how Stockholm Syndrome can be used as a model for interpreting and understanding the violent incident in Knutby Filadelfia, but also to see if the unique characteristic of the Knutby incident can tell us something about Stockholm Syndrome as a model for understanding violence in religious movements. The material shows Stockholm Syndrome as having been present in Knutby because of among other things, a mileu, leadership and theology that supported the normalization of abuse and the enabling and maintaining of self punishment in the community. While Stockholm Syndrome still is a controversial theory this study shows that it can be used as a powerful tool in the understanding of violence in religious contexts..

Happiness is often considered our ultimate goal in life. This essay explores the political im- plications of this view, through the critique of happiness found in the works of Simone de Beauvoir and Sara Ahmed. Ahmed and Beauvoir consider happiness to be harmful as a po- litical goal, since it tends to diminish dimensions of power and conflict in favor of harmony, and is not compatible with a political philosophy based on freedom or liberation. Happiness is often confused with the ethical Good, but this essay argues that happiness does not ne- cessarily entail good things. Syftet med min uppsats har varit att undersöka hur en romankaraktär kan förstås utifrån två analytiska ramar, intermedialitet och kaosnarration. Undersökningen består utav en inledande registrering av de intermediala elementen, en efterföljande fördjupning och slutligen en kortare, kaosnarratologisk analys där romanen placeras i en passande kontext.  .

I takt med ökande mjölkproduktion hos dagens mjölkkor ökar också energibehovet vilket ställer stora krav på utfodringen. En stor andel kraftfoder i foderstaten kan ge upphov till en pH-sänkning i vommen och subakut vomacidos (SARA) kan uppkomma. Syftet med den här litteraturstudien var att ge en översikt över vad SARA är, vilka orsakerna är, vilka följder det kan få med särskilt fokus på fång, samt hur man kan förebygga utvecklingen av SARA. Vid utfodring med en hög andel kraftfoder bildas stora mängder flyktiga fettsyror, VFA, som kan ge upphov till en pH-sänkning om bildandet av VFA överstiger absorptionen från vommen, och SARA kan därigenom uppkomma. Vid utfodring med en högre andel kraftfoder anpassas vommens slemhinna och blir större och får därmed en större absorptiv förmåga. Vid ett snabbt byte går denna anpassning dock inte alltid tillräckligt snabbt vilket kan ge upphov till att pH sänks. Även vommens mikroflora förändras vid utfodring med en större andel kraftfoder. I samband med SARA kan olika kliniska symptom ses.

The aim of this essay is to study constructions of femininity and sexuality in Sara Stridsberg?s novel Darling River (2010). The analysis is based on queer theory and the term ?skev? ? a variation of ?queer? that allows one to focus on additional forms of normativity apart from sexual desire ? and examines how the characters of the novel are challenging the heteronormative framework by performing gender and sexuality in non-normative, subversive ways. In short, I discuss how the relationship between femininity, body and destiny is being portrayed, how the characters question heteronormativity by overdoing femininity, and by being unable (unwilling) to perform adult femininity.

Sara Lidman?s second novel Hjortronlandet (1955) unfolds in the north of Sweden in the early 20th century. It describes the progress of modernity and the conflicting interests of an old local culture and a new more ?civilised? one. The two cultures are constituted by different value systems and in the novel they are represented by two neighbour communities.

The object of investigation in this essay is the epic novel sequence Jernbanan written by Sara Lidman. More specifically the investigation takes on the idea of a ?sam-vett? as it is formulated in Jernbanan. SammanfattningJag har analyserat fem debattartiklar, tre skrivna av Linda Skugge, författare och skribent i Expressen, och två av Sara Stridsberg, författare och frilansande journalist, i den så kallade ?bimbodebatten? som har pågått i flera år där kända kvinnor har kritiserats i media på grund av sitt ickerespektabla förhållningssätt till sig själv och sin kropp, exempelvis gällande utvik, silikoninlägg, klädstil osv. De texter jag har valt ut berör samtliga Linda Rosing, känd från dokusåpan Big Brother. Som en debatt mellan två personer förhåller sig texterna tydligt till varandra. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine posts on bookblogs about the book, Cirkeln by Mats Strandberg and Sara Bergmark Elfgren and see how it has distributed amongst readers through social media and reader response. We want through this examine whether bookblogs have a place in the literary society, and in such cases, how this may take place. The Swedish Online bookshops Adlibris and Bokus is being used to find the blogposts to be examined in this thesis. The analysis is being implemented using content analysis and constructed encoding schemes. Interdisciplinary topics, like LIS and sociology of literature may have similar points of contact, which we want to highlight with this thesis.

Bakgrund och mål: I dagsläget har Scania inget vedertaget samlat tillvägagångssätt för att, i den dagliga verksamheten, arbeta med riskbedömning av arbetsmiljöfaktorer. Scania har köpt ett riskhanteringssystem för bedömning av fysiska arbetsmiljörisker och vill undersöka om metoden är tillämpbar inom företaget. Modellen heter SARA- Samlad Riskbedömningar Arbetsplatser. Syftet med examensarbetet var att utvärdera Scanias möjligheter att arbeta kontinuerligt och systematiskt med riskanalyser av arbetsmiljöfaktorer enligt den metod som SARA beskriver och definierar och utveckla en anpassad version av SARA, utformad för Scanias förutsättningar. Den Scania-anpassade versionen av SARA fick den preliminära titeln WERA - Work Enivronment Risk Assessment.

Sweden has an active and growing culture of feminist comic book artists that use comedy as a mean of disseminating political ideas and critic. In this essay I do a reparative reading of Sara Granér?s comic book All I Want for Christmas is planekonomi in order to find out if it advocates alternative orders and/or ways of expression. By exploring what the comic book does to me as a reader and how, using the term ?skev? ? a hybrid of queer that examines normativity not strictly tied to sexuality ? and gulesque theory ? a mix of feminism, cuteness, the grotesque and riot grrrl ?, I show that the comic book, through the use of comedy, works as a trojan My Little Pony, reclaiming the girly franchise, while challenging several so-called dichotomies, such as: femininity/masculinity; youth/adult; high art/kitsch.

This essay presents an example of the musical life of a female composer active in Sweden during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Through a case study on composer Sara Wennerberg-Reuter (1875-1959), the essay contributes information to her biography, which had been lacking specific details.Wennerberg-Reuter's biography has been discussed regarding traditional roles of women in music, her relationship to her own artistry and other active women composers, and finally the contemporary reception of Wennerberg-Reuter as a legitimate composer. Aesthetical theories prevalent during Wennerberg-Reuter?s life has been applied in these discussions, such as those presented by Citron, Öhrström and Hanson, combined with Citron's additional theories considering masculine/feminine elements in the musical approach.The main conclusions reached regarding the specific conditions enabling a professional status as a composer and woman in Sweden during the given time are;a) the liberal permission by the family to pursue higher education in composing, since this was in opposition to the traditions of the time.b) the access to a network of musically active women, from which a sense of being part of a female community can be created.c) the acceptance from musical institutions such as higher educations, composer's societies and media critics..

This thesis is a study of social alienation in two novels by Sara Lidman, Regnspiran (1958) and Bära mistel (1960). Taking the Swedish ?people?s home? and the normative view of people that it entailed as its point of departure, it examines the different kinds of alienation present in Lidman?s work. The analysis consists of three main parts. Part one examines geographical alienation in the novels, as well as the process of racialization of bodies that are considered out of place.
