Studien undersöker hur matematiska begrepp etableras i diskursen i klassrummet och hur lÀrare planerar för, iscensÀtter och bearbetar matematiska begrepp. Studiens syfte Àr att studera hur lÀrare hanterar matematiska begrepp i undervisningen ur ett specialpedagogiskt perspektiv. UtifrÄn studiens ansats vÀljs tvÄ kvalitativa datainsamlingsmetoder. Till detta infogas Selander & Kress (2010) formellt inramad lÀrsekvens och Hallidays (2004) tre metafunktioner och en ny metafunktion, den institutionell funktion (Boistrup- Björklund, 2010). Studien visar att procedurkunskap har en stor plats i undervisningen. LÀrarna hanterar begrepp i förbifarten och funderar inte pÄ vilken roll de sprÄkliga uttrycken har.

The purpose of this thesis is, through both a quantitative and qualitative study, to map out how the interaction appears between the established parties and the radical right-wing party, the Sweden Democrat?s (SD) and their core issue ? immigration in the Swedish parliament. By applying analytical dimensions on the parliamentary protocols regarding the immigration issue between the years of 2010-2012 this study will get an insight on how the argumentation concerning immigration has developed since their entrance into the Swedish parliament in 2010. The result shows that SD, through the rejection treatment of the established parties, fulfilled the three conditions which accordingly to the study's theoretical framework are crucial for the party's future success. In the established parties? reception of SD regarding immigration, SD is, to a large extent, left unchallenged as the established parties rather focus on integration instead of challenge SD in the immigration issue.

VÄren 2007 hamnade Estland och Ryssland i den största internationella konflikten sinsemellan sedan sönderfallet av Sovjetunionen. Konflikten handlade om att Estland flyttade en sovjetisk bronsstaty frÄn centrala Tal-linn till en krigskyrkogÄrd, dÄ man tyckte att den symboliserade förtryck. I Tallinn blev det ett kaos med oroligheter och plundring som följd. Relatio-nerna mellan Estland och Ryssland blev mycket anstrÀngda, dÄ Ryssland an-sÄg att det var fel av Estland att flytta statyn. Denna uppsats har undersökt hur de bÄda parterna hanterade denna internationella konflikt genom att först mÀta hur internationella de var utifrÄn ett officiellt perspektiv.

The United States use of Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (UCAV) or drones for targeted killings of terrorists has been on the rise in recent years and the method has become the core element of president Obamas strategy in the war against terror. This study examines the deterrent effect of targeted killings on terrorism using UCAV/drones as a method of counterterrorism. Building on the literature on counterterrorism, UCAV, targeted killings, deterrence theory and statistics on terrorism the study provides a case study of the CIA drone operations in Pakistan between the years 2004-2010. The goal has been to analyze drone operations and the extent of terrorism from the beginning of the drone campaign until 2010. This as a means of identifying possible trends in terrorism activity due to the occurrence of drone strikes.

Under sommaren 2010 drabbades Chaniaregionen pÄ Kreta av vattenbrist. Denna studie undersöker vad som har orsakat och bidragit till vattenbristen i Chania. Det har gjorts genom att bearbeta kvantitativa data och intervjua sex representanter för myndigheter och institutioner som Àr medvetna om regionens vattenproblematik. Nederbördens ojÀmna fördelning i tiden i kombination med sommarsÀsongens ökade efterfrÄgan pÄ vatten, pÄ grund av turismen och odlingen, samt en ineffektiv förvaltning av vattenresurser verkar ha medverkat till regionens vattenbrist. KlimatförhÄllanden i Chania har inte uppvisat nÄgon markant förÀndring över tiden.

The aim with this study was to analyze and understand how begging is constructed as a social problem in Sweden between September of 2010 and the end of February in 2014 in debate articles in Dagens Nyheter. To do this I have chosen to use a social problems theory and critical discourse analysis to highlight some aspects in the process of defining the social problem. The study's main finding is that the construction of beggars and begging appears to be in a relatively extensive redefinition in the current situation. It is shown by, for example, a shift in focus in the discourse. For this reason, it is relevant for social work to examine how the construction progresses..

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt möjligheten till övervinster i samband med utdelningar för svenska företag pÄ OMX Stockholm Large Cap och Small Cap mellan Ären 2006 och 2010. Genom en statistisk jÀmförelse mellan aktiekursens förÀndring i samband med utdelningen undersöker vi marknadens effektivitet. Resultaten tyder pÄ att Large Cap Àr en effektiv marknad i samband med utdelningar, medan Small Cap visar tecken pÄ ineffektivitet. Resultaten stödjer delvis tidigare studier, som sÀger att marknaden Àr effektiv. VÄr studie skiljer oss frÄn tidigare forskning eftersom vi undersöker Large Cap och Small Cap som separata marknader istÀllet för hela börsen.

I kursplanen för Àmnet historia i gymnasieskolan slÄr skolverket fast att undervisningen i Àmnet skall syfta till att ge eleverna en förstÄelse för olika nationer, lÀnder och regioners utveckling och vad som format den. Tillsammans med det svenska skolvÀsendets övergripande lÀroplan och den vÀrdegrund som förmedlas, vilken lÀgger en central vikt vid fostran av eleverna till demokratiska och toleranta individer, bör tonvikten i historieundervisningen fokusera vid att ge en ökad förstÄelse för olika grupper och deras situation utifrÄn hur de utvecklats genom tiden. Syftet med denna undersökning Àr att genom en fallstudie av undervisning kring Rysslands 1900-tals historia se om det gÄr att förÀndra elevernas attityder till just ryssar i en positiv riktning. Detta resultat generaliseras sedan Àven mot andra grupper och undervisning kring dem. För att göra detta har vi dels undervisat en grupp elever i det aktuella Àmnet samt utfört attitydundersökningar i tvÄ grupper av elever.

In Sweden exist a Swedish institute for children?s book which is a national information center. They have an annual "Book tasting" where they present statistics and trends from the latest publications of literature for youth and children.In their ?book tasting?? from 2010 a number of picture books had, as they say, children who descend from non-Swedish culture (Swedish institute for children?s book, 2010). The aim of this thesis is to investigate how the ethnical diversity describes in these picture books from 2010. To understand how the ethnical diversity describes in these books I had two questions which helped me in my research.

(Lpfö 98/2010, s 5). Det anges Àven att pedagogers förvÀntningar och sÀtt att bemöta pojkar och flickor bidrar till att skapa uppfattningar hos barnen om vad som anses vara kvinnligt och manligt.
