This study departs from the observation that since the late 1980´s educational programmes for curators have been established and since then expanded greatly. The programmes are part of a process of institutionalization and professionalization of the role of the curator within the international contemporary art field where the role as such has gained much power. Even though many statements have been made about this relatively new phenomenon of curatorial studies, there is a lack of sufficient research. The intention of this study is therefore to examine the educational programmes as such. The selection of 15 programmes has been made with the purpose to include early as well as newly established and to cover a wide geographic area.

This thesis deals with numerical simulation of earth pressure against tubular bridges in the software Plaxis. Plaxis is a FEM (Finite Element Method) software based on numerical calculations for which approximate solutions are developed through an iterative process. The program is specifically designed for soil and rock mechanical tests, such as voltage and deformation calculations in soil.The Royal Institute of Technology conducted in 2005, field tests on tubular bridges of corrugated steel, which was part of Ersa Bayoglu Fleners PhD (Bayoglu Flener, 2009). She studied how two different tubular bridges deformed during installation and filling. Tests and measurements were made during filling.

Fo?r att koordinera alla transporter av byggmaterial in till omra?det, samt hantera avfallstransporter ut ur omra?det, har Stockholms stad etablerat ett bygglogistikcenter vars ma?l bland annat a?r att reducera antalet transporter.Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att ta fram en metod fo?r utva?rdering av potentiella miljo?effekter med bygglogistikcentret i Norra Djurga?rdsstaden. Examensarbetet har tittat pa? byggtransportlogistik ur ett livscykelperspektiv fo?r ja?mfo?relse mellan tva? olika scenarion, da? ett bygglogistikcenter finns (scenario 1) respektive da? ett sa?dant inte finns (scenario 2).

Numerical simulations play a vital role in both static and dynamic stability assessment of electric power systems and the foreseeing of voltage collapse. Simulations performed by Svenska Kraftnät(SvK) are mainly done in the specialized voltage collapse predicting software tool, SPICA and the more all?purpose software tool, ARISTO.The grid operators at SvK use SPICA to predict the maximum transfer limit at specified sections (in this report the section in concerns is the southern part of Sweden i.e. interface1 4). SPICA is mainly used as an online application by using actual states from the grid, these states update every quarter of an hour.This thesis is a continuation of the master thesis SPICA ? The European history of bath has its roots in the Greek culture about 2500 years ago. In every Greek town was situated at least one center of culture, a gymnasium, that contained bath establishements, areas for physical training, restaurants, librarys and readingrooms. Already 400 B.C. Hippokrates, founder of the art of healing, spoke for the waters important qualities in medical treatements. After the Greeks the Romans overtook and maintained the polished manners of bathing, and thanks to them the culture spread to the north of Europe. During the middleages the art of swimming was well respected among soldiers and knights, and was frequently practised in tournament games and competitions. At the same time the bathhouses were developed in the towns of Europe.

The estate of Rydboholm is situated in the municipality of Österåker, north of Stockholm, Sweden, and has a long history dating back to the 14th century. Rydboholm was the home of several families of great national importance, such as the Finsta and Vasa clans. However, since the 1500s, the noble family Brahe was the most influential; leaving its mark on the castle and surroundings. The gardens of Rydboholm consist of two parts; The first is from the baroque era, dating back to the 1660s, and the second is an immense landscape park completed around the year 1800 by Magnus Fredrik Brahe. During his travels through Europe, Magnus Fredrik Brahe was influenced by the new English-style gardens and he brought a large collection of literature on the subject back to Sweden, still kept in the library of Rydboholm.

Since the beginning of the 1900s Sweden has had laws and rules governing the ownership of agricultural and forest land. The foundations of the current Land Ownership Law, ?Jordförvärvslagen 1979:230(JFL)?, are from 1979. The most recent review and adaptation of the law occurred in 2005. Its main purpose is to prevent a passive ownership of land in Sweden and to ensure that the land is actively worked.

På den svenska marknaden saluför idag (år 2006-2007) fyra företag ett antal dietfoder till katt och hund. För de indikationer som ingår i denna studie finns det sammantaget 80 foder för hund och 69 för katt; från Specific (n = 12 katt, n= 13 hund), Royal Canin/Waltham (n=18 katt, n=24 hund), Eukanuba (n=11 katt, 12= hund) och Hills (n=27 katt, n=30 hund). De indikationer som behandlas i detta arbete är foder för övervikt, diabetes mellitus, gastrointestinala sjukdomar, dermatologiska rubbningar (t ex foderöverkänslighet), urinsten, njursjukdomar, postoperativ vård, leversjukdomar, hjärtsjukdomar, tandsjukdomar, foder för åldrande och för cancer. Huvudsyftet med examensarbetet var att få en överblick över jämförbara dietfoder för ett antal olika indikationer. I bilaga 3 och 4 är näringsinnehåll respektive råvaror mellan olika foder jämförda.

A boom in horticulture characterized the 18th century in Sweden and Skåne. Parks and gardens were gradually built out to become, at the end of the 18th century, large and comfortable facilities which responded to European parks. During the late 1700s the new fashion came to Sweden. In Sweden it was named ?the English style? which directly refers to the English expression ?Romantic style?.
