As a Swedish landscape architecture student living in Australia for five years, I have often wondered if my memories and my associations with the landscape and the nature in Sweden, are the same as other Swedish people living in Melbourne. Most of the Swedish people who live here in Melbourne remember and associate Sweden?s nature and landscape with where they grew up or where they used to live. The plants that most of the Swedish people I asked missed from Sweden were associated to special feelings or activities. The general type of landscape people remember from Sweden is that of a landscape covered in forests, which you can walk freely through. With these memories as a foundation and with inspiration from the Swedish landscape architect Thorbjörn Anderson?s way of creating places, by letting a few strong changes play against the existing elements,2 but also with consideration of the climate and the severe shortage of water that is current in Melbourne, will I create a design concept for the garden surrounding the Swedish Church in Melbourne. På grund av detta har sponsring kommit att bli just ett sätt för företagen att visa sig utåt i samband med olika typer av evenemang. Eftersom idrott är en global företeelse som engagerar stora delar av världens befolkning så har sponsring av idrott under de senaste 20 åren vuxit fram till att bli en viktig del i många företags marknadsföringssatsningar. Syftet med denna uppsats är att öka kunskapen om hur företag bedriver sin idrottssponsring. För att uppnå detta syfte genomförde vi fallstudier på två företag, EDS och FöreningsSparbanken.

Abstract: Denna uppsats söker upplevelsen av påtvingad behandling. Den är gjord på ett behandlingshem i Mellansverige som bedriver behandling efter § 12 LVU med särskilda befogenheter i vård av unga. Behandlingshemmet lyder under SIS (Statens institutionsstyrelse). Underlaget består av fem intervjuer med elever som blir behandlade för narkotika- och alkoholmissbruk samt lättare eller grövre kriminalitet. Metoden som använts för att analysera intervjuerna är fenomenologiskt inspirerad som innebär att man söker efter essensen i upplevda erfarenheter.Resultatet visar på sex viktiga teman.

To achieve this purpose we have chosen to use a qualitative method with deliberation interviews. The interviews have been implemented with six different persons in authority who work in social welfare offices and as LSS - administrators.Ensured to our questions, (1) How does persons in authority do in the meeting with persons that has a disability and chooses to become parents? (2) Which possibilities respective difficulties see persons in authority within social service and LSS with parenthood where the parent has a disability? (3) What is done in order to facilitate the needs that are added when persons with disabilities chooses to become parents? we consider that they have been responded to.Through our empirical materials we can interpret and read out the replies that we searched for in connection with our survey.

Rapporten presenterar skapandet av en produktkonfigurator och flera förslag på hur den kan förbättras. Uppdraget gavs av System Andersson till två studenter på Jönköpings Tekniska Högskola som genomförde detta som sitt examensarbete.Rapporten diskuterar möjliga lösningar på en produktkonfigurator och visar ett resultat som utgår från dessa lösningar. Produktkonfiguratorn i rapporten består av två delar.Dels konfigurationsdelen som hjälper användaren att skapa nya produkter utifrån valda artiklar. Artiklarna sorteras automatiskt av produktkonfiguratorn så att endast kompatibla artiklar kan sättas ihop. Detta sker med ett ?drag and drop? gränssnitt.Dessutom innehåller produktkonfiguratorn en kompatibilitetsdel, vars uppgift är att underlätta vid definierandet av kompatibilitet mellan artiklar.

SammanfattningSyftet med examensarbetet var att utföra ett designförslag på en trädgård för personer meddemenssjukdom. Genom litteraturstudier och enkätundersökning har jag fått kunskap om huren trädgård för personer med demenssjukdom bör se ut och vad den bör innehålla. När manutformar en trädgård för personer med demenssjukdom är inte syftet att rehabilitera, utan attge dem god livskvalitet. Detta kan man göra genom att skapa en trädgård med växter ochmaterial som stimulerar sinnet. Via enkätundersökningen har jag fått möjlighet att ta del avsådant som vårdpersonal tycker är viktigt i en trädgård för personer med demenssjukdom ochvad de tror att de boende skulle vilja göra i en trädgård.

This study is about information needs and library habits among newly retired people. The purpose of this master thesis is to examine the affective and cognitive needs that come with retirement. In what way do the information needs of this group change due to retirement? In order to answer this question we make use of two theoretical models; Role theory and Wilson?s model of information needs. When it comes to library habits, we use Andersson and Skot-Hansens model to examine how newly retired people use the library now and how they could use it on basis of their needs in their new role.

In this Masters thesis the image of the public library in the local press and in the eyes of the public is examined. The questions posed to examine this are: - What activities of the public library are described in the local press? - What activities does the public associate with the public library? - What functions and roles of the public library can be found in the articles and interviews and how are they expressed? - What opinions of the public library and hereto related activities can be found in the articles and interviews? This study is based on an analysis of 127 articles, published in Borås Tidning during a period of six months, and of interviews with 35 people from Sjuhäradsbygden. To analyse the articles and the interviews Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen´s model of roles for the library has been used. The model includes four roles for the library: the library as a cultural centre, a knowledge centre, an information centre and a social centre.

This essay investigates, on the basis of the medieval letters, diplomas, how the medieval monasticism contributed to the maintenance of the Danish society's gender structures. The theoretical starting points for the study are gender and class structures and Marcel Mauss presented gift - giving theory. Finally, a continuous comparison is made with Catharina Andersson's results in her dissertation, in which she examines the social structure in the Swedish medieval society. The primary material in the study is the Danish diplomas. 41 diplomas were found relevant for this study.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate reading habits among parents of preschool children who do not use the public library. Another aim has been to investigate why these parents don?t use the library and if there is anything the library can do to change this. Little research had earlier been done on this subject. The theoretical framework consists of two different models.
