The European Union provide 27 % of total volume raw milk produced in the world. This number is steadily decreasing due to that the world milk production increase is more rapid than EU production growth. The growing middle-class change the demand for food, a higher standard of living increase the demand of milk products as well as other various animal products. Since 1984 the EU milk quota has limited the supply from EU, but the quota will expire April 1st 2015. The European Milk Board expect that the removal of quotas will make the farm gate price decline.

MONOLITH är en prototyp av en sådan applikation. Dess huvudändamål är att demonstrera hur detta kan utföras och att testa enheter som kan kontrollera ett antal torpeder.

Detta examensarbete är en undersökning av The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) statistik rörande operationer med dynamisk positionering (DP) inom 500-meterzonen. Statistiken har sedan jämförts med resultaten från en enkät som skickats ut till berörda nautiker och personal i land. I enkäten har deltagarna fått ge sin personliga uppfattning om hur fem övergripande kategorier för orsaker till incidenter, härledda ur IMCAs inrapporterade material, bör rangordnas efter vilken kategori som anses mest trolig att orsaka en incident. Resultatet visar på en skillnad vad gäller operatörens roll i IMCAs statistik och vad som upplevs inom offshore-industrin. The purpose of this thesis for Sapa Heat Transfer is to examine a furnace in which aluminium is pre-heated before hot rolling. The project is modeled in a computer environment in which the air flow in the furnace and the heat transfer to the aluminium solids are included. The computer environment and its governing equations, as well as boundary conditions and generalizations, are presented and explained.The simulations are based on two models. The first model has an asymmetric solid placement, which is how it looks in today's ovens. It is validated against collected data.

Merparten av de kommersiella system för mobilkommunikation som finns och byggs i världen idag bygger fortfarande på GSM, antalet abbonnenter är över 2 miljarder. För att utöka funktionaliteten med mobila terminaler har det forskats på att införa positionering i GSM-nätverk. Tjänster som använder abbonnentens positionsinformation kallas Location Based Service och de ger möjlighet att utöka funktionaliteten och spara användaren av tjänsten arbete. Rapporten beskriver olika tekniker för positionering och slutsatsen att CGI-TA är den teknik som positioneringen ska byggas på. Denna teknik finns tillgänglig hos de svenska operatörerna idag och för att kommunicera med dem används Mobile Location Protocol 3.0.0.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att kartlägga användningen av Country of Origin och dess relevans på den globala marknaden genom att undersöka om en landsimage kan relateras till varumärke istället för produkt. Uppsatsen har en deduktiv ansats då den grundar sig på tidigare teori inom området Country of Origin, positionering samt varumärkesstrategier. En kvalitativ undersökning i form av djupintervjuer med valda företag genomfördes för att kunna besvara uppsatsen syfte. Slutsatserna till uppsatsen är att Country of Origin inte längre är en relevant strategi eftersom varumärkets landsimage är mer relevant än produktens härkomst. För att bättre passa dagens marknadsförutsättningar behöver COO därför modifieras och ge företag konkreta riktlinjer vid användningen av marknadsstrategin eftersom landsimage fortfarande anses vara relevant, men då i relation till varumärket..

The purpose of this project is to get a fully functional, automatic steering system and a variable breaking system with an emergency breaking function to an off road vehicle. This off road vehicle is supposed to work as an aid in military situations. A team of two, Sebastian Attervall and Nichlas Gustafsson, got an order from Jonas Nyårds and the PreeRunners Project to construct a steering system that could manoeuvre an off road vehicle without any human involvement. To make this possible the vehicle would be guided by onboard sensors, cameras and computers. The team where also assigned to construct an automatic breaking system, there also no human would be involved.

The purpose with this essay is to study how companies use the repositioning process and identify the risks involved from a business perspective. We have chosen to base our essay on the following research questions:What reasons are there for a company to initiate a repositioning?, What does it mean for companies to implement a repositioning?, What are the risks with a repositioning?We have used a qualitative research method and have chosen to interview six respondents which in various ways are actively working with brand repositioning. Our study has been implemented with and deductive character.The most important conclusion that we observed after implementing our study is that repositioning is a high-risk project. Instead of changing their entire brand image, companies should instead make small changes and revitalize the brand by developing the strength that already exist.

Arbetet är ett utredningsarbete som går ut på att försöka lokalisera felkällor och göra förbättringar på en testutrustning som mäter rodervinklar på akterdelen på en robot. Rapporten innehåller en översiktlig bild över den tidigare metoden och dess felkällor som hittas vid test av den tidigare metoden. During the late 1990s a movement with the intention of forming independent libraries emerged on Cuba. They were seen as an alternative to the public libraries which were supposed to be suffering from censorship by the Cuban government. The purpose of this thesis is to compile and bring structure in a debate regarding public libraries on Cuba and what have become known as independent libraries. In this thesis a textual analysis has been approached for examining articles, websites and reports concerning what attitudes and position the library support organizations Friends of Cuban Libraries FCL, Cuban Libraries Solidarity Group CLSG and IFLA/FAIFE have regarding the two different library types. These positions is throughout the survey connected with the concept of intellectual freedom.

I Sverige har en maktutredning genomförts där man har kartlagt de finmaskiga nätverk som sammanbinder regeringen med myndigheter, riksdagsutskott, politiska partier, intresseorganisationer, företag etc. Resultatet visar att maktutövning sker idag inte minst genom personliga och informella kontakter. Även en sociologisk undersökning av eliten i Katrineholm visar på liknande resultat, att de informella kontakterna är mycket viktiga när det gäller maktutövning.
