The Working Hours Act regulates the working time conditions and together with the Working Time Directive of EU both acts aim to protect the workers. However, with The Swedish Model it is possible to diverge from the law-regulations by collective agreement by the parts of the Swedish labor market. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the national and international law regulations and further on study a few selected Swedish central collective agreements to discover in which extension deviation from the law occur. The sections of the Working Hours Act?s that has been investigated is ordinary working time, daily rest, weekly rest periods, breaks and maximum weekly working time.

At the turn of the year 2009/2010 there was a change in the regulations on sickness impact. This led to 328 persons in County of Kronoberg had an expired period of sickness benefit from the Social Insurance Office (Försäkringskassan) when they reached the maximum time for sickness or temporary disability compensation. These individuals were offered introductory programs with the employment services. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the population with expired period of sickness benefit from the Regional Social Insurance Office in the County of Kronoberg (Försäkringskassan Kronoberg) is described in the initial stage, and to explore how individuals who achieved expired period of sickness benefit from the Social Insurance Office (Försäkringskassan) talks about the meaning to get an expired period of sickness benefit regarding economic and social issues. The study was inspired by Grounded theory.

Many watersheds have lost stocks of migrating fish species because of the development of hydroelectric plants and other fragmenting barriers. The remaining stocks of migrating Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and brown trout (Salmo trutta) in River Klarälven, Sweden are five times smaller compared to one hundred years ago. A fish-trap at the hydroelectric plant in Forshaga has been vital for the continued existence of the stocks. This is the first hydroelectric plant of eight, blocking the way to the spawning grounds. Spawners are collected in the trap for both hatchery and transport by truck upstream and past seven more hydroelectric plants to the spawning grounds, where they are released for possible natural reproduction.

Behovet av skogsbränslen har ökat i takt med en ökad efterfrågan av förnyelsebara energikällor, samtidigt som andelen skogar med ett omedelbart röjningsbehov stigit. Det har lett till att innovatörer letar efter nya system för skörd av biomassa i dessa bestånd. Syftet med denna studie var att modellera och analysera ett maskinsystem som är under utveckling för skörd av biomassa i klena förstagallringar. Maskinsystemet ska fälla, aptera och bunta träddelar i bestånden. Skördaren som utgör basen för konceptmaskinen är den fyrhjuliga modellen av Komatsu 901TX.1. På basenheten kommer det att monteras en helautomatiserad extrakran/leveranskran. Leveranskranen står för transporten av det skördade virket från skördaraggregatet till en helautomatiserad buntningsenhet. Resultatet som redovisas i rapporten har tagits fram genom simuleringar i simuleringsprogrammet Arena 5.0.

In Automatic Milking Systems (AMS), cows are kept in a free stall barn equipped with one or several milking units (MU). The cows? activities in the system are called cow traffic. There are three types of cow traffic systems: guided, partly-guided and free. Free systems have no gates, allowing the cows access to the feeding and resting areas at any time.

Idag besöker vi inte längre webbplatser enbart via datorer, utan även mobiltelefoner och surfplattor. För att göra interaktionen på en webbplats användbar via flera olika plattformar blir det allt vanligare med responsiv anpassning. Denna utveckling ställer högre krav på den grafiska formgivaren som bör ha god kunskap om de plattformar som designen tillämpas på för att nå högsta möjliga användbarhet. En grafisk formgivare ska alltså förstå vad användbarhet innebär och hur denna kunskap ska tillämpas i designen. Kandidatarbetet undersöker vad som definierar användbarhet och vad grafisk design bidrar till i skapandet av responsiva webbplatser.

This Master's thesis work was done at SLU, Uppsala, Sweden in cooperation with Upplandsstiftelsen and Uppsala County Council. The studied area is pointed out as an area for EU´s LIFE project, NATURA 2000, concerning the Scarabid beetle Osmoderma eremita. The studied area lies in an agricultural landscape rich on deciduous trees, about 15 km south of Enköping in the County of Uppland. The species is dependent on large, old, hollow trees, which are exposed to sunlight, usually oak trees in this area. I studied the area in detail concerning large old trees (>70cm ø), middle-aged oak trees and young oak trees.

We have been looking at three different types of agriculture in Södermanland, in the middle east of Sweden. We call the different types for Intensive, Extensive and Mix. The purpose is to get an economic defensible plan for how to run different farm sizes. We also have been looking at the working hours and how many hours the different types will give. We have a farm called Taxinge Gods as our pilot farm. Taxinge Gods grow 407 ha land and is located 60 km southwest from Stockholm.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV?s) are nowadays greatly appreciated. The advantage over manned airplanes are great since UAV?s can be much smaller and therefore lighter. The goal of this project is to evaluate the performance of an environmentally friendly UAV using only lithium-ion batteries.

Ett ökande behov av metadata har identifierats och i många verksamheter finns ett behov att skapa och lagra metadata som beskriver någon typ av data. Detta har drivit på studier av datakataloger som betraktas som lösningen på metadatabehovet. Detta arbete har behandlat att specificera ett dokumenthanteringssystem byggd på en datakatalog för en verksamhet i en utförd fallstudie. Den behandlade dokumentdatakatalogen inkluderar en ontologi för att skapa ändamålsenlig sökning i en legacymiljö.I den framtagna specifikationen på arkitekturavgränsningar för en dokumentdatakatalog är det kännetecken såsom integrerad, skalbar, robust, anpassbar och öppen som införlivar en sund arkitektur. I specifikationen ingår även ett antal krav som utöver kännetecknen bör följas för en god arkitektur.

Swedish agriculture has gone through big changes in the latest 60 years. The farm sizes have increased, which has led to raised tractor and machinery sizes and therefore increasing problems with soil compaction. A method to reduce these problems is to implement controlled traffic farming, CTF. All field operations are then concentrated to specific tracks by using GPS guidance. The aim of this work was to study how the tillage regime, with or without CTF, affects the soil, with the main focus on macroporosity. In Säby close to Uppsala, and Alnarp close to Malmö, randomized block trials has been carried out, and the data has mainly been taken from these trials.

Development in spin dynamic occurs in the whole world because of therising demands on fast electronic storage for example hard drivesand RAM (Random Access Memory). Measuring the spin resonance of amaterial gives you the insight of the theoretical speed for amagnetic memory. This means the maximum storage speed is below thefirst resonance. All magnetic materials have different propertiesthat will inflict the resonance frequency which brings that theconstructors of memories need to know which magnetic material theywill use to obtain best results. In the market for normal users themaximum storage speed in a RAM memory is 1.6 GHz.

En förskolan med plats för varje enskilt barn och alla barnen. En förskola med gemenskap och plats för alla, samtidigt som varje enskilt, fantastiskt och unikt barn kan finna sin egna vrå. Fokus på den förskolan jag ritat ligger i att ge plats för alla dessa unika barn, tillsammans och enskilt. Därför var mina ledord genom arbetet motsatspar så som Helhet - Del, Stort - Litet, Inne - Ute, Gemensam - Enskild, Ljud - Tystnad, Ljust - Mörkt.Jag har själv formulerat uppgiften och tagit kontakt med de aktörer som är berörda, för att ta fram all den information som behövdes kontinuerligt under arbetets gång. Det var viktigt att arbetet fick så stor verklighetsförankring som möjligt.Under arbetets gång har dialog med aktörer från kommunen varit drivande; Anders Wedin, (skolchef på bildningsförvaltningen), Henrik Hedqvist (utbildningschef på bildningsförvaltningen), David Lanthén (plan- och exploateringschef), Torkel Lindgren (handläggande planarkitekten).Nära dialog, studiebesök och enkätundersökningar med tre olika förskolor lade också grunden för mitt arbete; Sonja Derkert (förskolelärare Gökboets förskola), Personalen på Gökboets förskola, Ing-Britt Andersson (förskolechef Norrbodas förskola), Emil Spanos (kock Norrbodas förskola), Personalen på Norrbodas förskola, Susanne Johansson (verksamhetsansvarig Storstugans förskola), Emelie W Bernemyr (Stockholms universitet, Förskolelärare Storstugans förskola), Personalen på Storstugans förskola.Mitt förslag på förskola vid Ringvägen i Kungsängen kommer att vara med under utställningen inför antagandet av detaljplanen för Ringvägen. Detta tillsammans med att bildningsförvaltningen visat intresse för fortsatt dialog har gjort att mitt mål om verklighetsförankring känns uppnått.Arkitektoniskt har jag skapat en förskola av beständiga material, där möjlighet till flexibilitet över tid finns.

During the last decades, brand equity has been a priority topic for both practitioners and academics. In accordance with the structural changes in the economic settings caused by the so-called "new economy", corporations being confronted with a shift on perceived business value structure from tangible assets to intangibles. On the other hand firms increasingly are adopting more responsible behaviour towards their societies. In this context, one critical question is to understand how corporate conduct may affect brand equity. The purpose of this study was to find how brand equity (BE) measurement methods embrace corporate responsibility (CR), based on a literature review.

Sweden is a member of the European Union since 1995. The European Union issues directives that cover different areas. Member states must implement these directives into their national legislation. The European council issued in 1993 a directive that took action on the organization of working time, also known as the working time directive. The full name is: Council directive 93/104/EC of 23 November 1993 concerning certain aspects of the organization of working time.
