In connection with the property crises in many countries, caused by the financial crises, people are now more aware of the Risks involved in poor property-investments. The unusually cold winters along with extreme prices of electricity in Sweden in recent years has also contributed to increased interest in energy-efficient buildings.The process of developing a modern family home in Kiruna, Sweden is presented the first part of this paper. The house has been designed to withstand very high stresses from snow, low energy consumption as well as a high standard of living comfort. Aspects of the house covered here involves everything from construction, heating and ventilation to sanitation. Each of these areas is presented based on their underlying, scientific methods or theories.

The extent by which pet owners follow health care instructions falls within the confines of ?compliance?. The success of any given treatment is in part due to the way in which the owner complies with the instructions received from the advising veterinary professional. Studies abroad have found that the preventative dental care sphere suffers from a low compliance rate. Together with the fact that veterinary staff commonly issue advice on preventative dental care, this provided the impetus for undertaking the current research.

The Swedish dairy sector is facing several challenges the coming years. One big challenge is how they will secure the access of their raw material milk in the future. The number of milk producers has decreased for an extended period of time, but was for a long time partly compensated by an increased productivity among the remaining milk producers. From year 2000 that trend was broken and also the quantity of milk produced started to fall quickly. Milko is a dairy company with members from Dalsland in the south to Jämtland in the north. During the first seven moths 2007, their number of members decreased by almost a fourth, from 1 272 to 974.

Internet har gett konsumenten en ökad marknadsöverblick, detta har gjort det möjligt för konsumenten att tidseffektivt jämföra varor och priser. Detta innebär att dagens konsument är betydligt mer välinformerad. Medvetenheten om en stor och komplex marknad innebär ett högt engagemang och upplevda risker med köpet som följd. Det höga engagemanget innebär att man som konsument bland annat söker information för att reducera sina upplevda risker.Syftet med denna uppsats är att minska luckan i teorin om konsumenters riskreducerande informationsbeteende då de genomgår köpprocessen i ett högengagemangsköp. Ett annat syfte blir att se vilka faktorer kring informationssökning som är viktiga i ett högengagemangsköp på en högteknologisk marknad 2006.

Syfte: Syftet har varit att finna ett verktyg för att lyfta fram egenskaper som bör reflekteras och beaktas vid förändringsarbete för att optimera och anpassa uppgradering av t.ex. ett dokumenthanteringssystem. Metod: En ny metod (COMBO-metoden) har utvecklats i syftet att finna ett nytt verktyg som kan lyfta fram egenskaper som bör identifieras och beaktas för att säkerställa arbetssätt samt optimera och anpassa uppgradering av t.ex. ett dokumenthanteringssystem. Metoden bygger på teori, en empirisk fallstudie och befintliga metoder. Insamling av data baseras på både sekundärdata och primärdata.

This report presents a thesis project conducted by two students at Mälardalens högskola. The project covers 15 points in industrial design and was conducted during April to June 2014. The principal of the thesis works at Plastic Produkter. The assignment was to develop equipment for an effective way to dose, mix silicon, fill a special designed plastic bag and then seal it. The bag is then formed into a breast model.When a customer for various reasons decides to do a breast augmentation or a breast reconstruction, there may be doubt or uncertainty about the result.

För att en maskin ska anses som säker för användning krävs det att den uppfyller maskindirektivet. Maskindirektivet är väldigt generellt och kortfattat. Därför finns det standarder som förklarar mer specifikt maskindirektivets olika delar. There are several factors that affect the supply and demand in the commercial real estate market, for instance the price, type of real estate and the condition of the real estate. In order to achieve success in the commercial real estate market it requires that real estate agents have a certain expertise and flexibility in their thinking to adapt commercial real estates to supply and demand. Active investors on the commercial real estate market are for instance private real estate agents, their knowledge and experience will help increase the value of commercial real estate in the long run. In order to provide the market flexibility in its real estate portfolio, vacancy is a factor that can be used.

Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka regelverket kring och riskerna med momsfördelningstal och den frivilliga skattskyldigheten för mervärdesskatt i allmänhet. Utöver undersökningen har även tillämpningen av momsfördelningstal och de faktiska konsekvenserna påvisats genom exemplifiering, intervjuer och studerande av litteratur på området. Uppsatsen följer den rättsdogmatiska metoden, ett inifrån- och utperspektiv. Vad säger lagen och vilka påföljder och konsekvenser innebär den? Läsaren kommer få en inblick i de risker som fastighetsbranschen står inför med den gällande lagstiftningen. Mervärdesskatten är en indirekt konsumtionsskatt.

To understand the motives, and perhaps more importantly the barriers, for farmers to convert from conventional to organic farming is of great interest for policy makers as well as for academics. In Sweden and in other EU countries, proposed targets of the area in organic farmland have failed to be reached in spite of different kinds of policy measures. Most studies agree that the average profitability seems to be comparable to or better in organic than in conventional farming. This would indicate that there must be other factors of importance which can explain the low particiapation rate. A higher perceived risk in organic farming with respect to yield and price is frequently brought up as a potential explanation within a qualitative framework.

Around the year 2007, several news segments appeared in the Swedish media with focus on the social website Facebook. At the time, an increasing number of people in Sweden started to join the social platform and accepted the terms of contract to get access of the website, without further consideration of what they were agreeing to. This resulted in some private individuals felt violated when it turned out that major points of the contract entail that user?s private information, photos, videos and other publications that was shared on the website, were considered property of Facebook cooperation. Even though this incident made users more aware of what they should, and should not publish on the website, the episode did not result in users closing there accounts on Facebook.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på uppdrag av Försvarsmakten. Arbetets målsättning är att undersöka hot, risker och sårbarheter som portabla enheter kan orsaka eller bidra till inom en organisation. Bärbara datorer med operativsystemet Windows och Mac, samt surfplattor och smartphones med operativsystemet Android, iOS och Windows Phone är de portabla enheter som är utvalda att ingå i denna rapport. Vidare diskuteras förslag på hur man kan förebygga olika säkerhetsrisker. Rapporten tar även upp dagens BYOD-lösningar (Bring Your Own Device).

God planering av projektet är avgörande för ett lyckat resultat. Det är viktigt med bra kommunikation och tätt samarbete mellan de olika avdelningarna i projektet, och även med externa konsulter som till exempel leverantören av ERP-systemet. Riskanalys var en viktig del av projektens risk management strategi. En skicklig och flexibel projektledning hade stor betydelse för att risk management strategin fungerade.

Eventing is often called as the formula 1 in equestrian sports and comprises three disciplines: dressage, show jumping and cross-country. The sport provides excitement, challenge and joy and is the ultimate sport for intelligent riders and horses. Many are fascinated by the challenges the sport offers while other consider it foolhardy to ride a cross-country. Eventing is not a risk-free sport and has even been given the label of being one of the world´s most dangerous sports. What do those Risks mean to the horse? And particularly, is it associated with good animal ethics to use the horse for eventing? Finding answers to these questions is not easy as it probably is not a clear and simple answer.

With the advance of the modern information society, the importance of reliable identity authentication has increased dramatically. Using biometrics as a means for verifying the identity of a person increases both the security and the convenience of the systems. By using yourself to verify your identity such Risks as lost keys and misplaced passwords are removed and by virtue of this, convenience is also increased. The most mature and well-developed biometric technique is fingerprint recognition. Fingerprints are unique for each individual and they do not change over time, which is very desirable in this application.
