E-handeln ökar ständigt och inte minst när det kommer till klädbranschen. Konsumenter värderar tillgängligheten och utbudet som internet erbjuder. Dock upplever konsumenter en större risk med att handla på internet jämfört med en fysisk butik. Det beror på att den fysiska interaktionen mellan produkt och konsument försvinner. Konsumenter känner då en större risk för att produkten inte ska uppfylla deras förväntningar.

Gestaltningsförslag till nybyggd villa i Kivik med hänsyn till i huvudsak ståndorten. Tomtens öppna läge göra att den är utsatt för stark vind och marken består till större delen av sand, vilket ställer ett högre krav på det valda växtmaterialet. Omgivningen består av hästhagar, ett villaområde från 70/80-talet och ett ljust och öppet läge med naturen som bakgrund, vilket har en stor påverkan på trädgårdens design. Huset har en modern arkitektur och skiljer sig från den övriga bebyggelsen och utmaningen har varit att integrera detta till den övriga omgivningen med hänsyn till den speciella ståndort som finns på platsen.

Klimatförändringen är en aktuell fråga och ett förändrat klimat kommer att inverka på  utbredningen av vektor-burna sjukdomar såsom malaria. Malaria är en sjukdom som är extremt klimatkänslig och det dör miljontals människor i sjukdomen varje år. Syftet med studien är att se vilka samband som finns mellan malaria och klimatförändringen i Sverige. Finns någon risk för malariaspridning i Sverige år 2100 på grund av den pågående klimatförändringen. Studien baseras på fem intervjuer med forskare som är insatta i malaria och klimatförändringen.

Vår undersökning påbörjades med ett starkt intresse och en uppriktig undran vad det var som drev människor som arbetade inom riskfyllda yrken att fortsätta med sina yrken efter att de utsatts för en konkret risk, till exempel att som polis bli skjuten i tjänsten. Eftersom vi hade lite föreställningar om varför och eftersom det inte heller verkade finnas någon forskning på området valde vi att själva generera en Grundad Teori för att få en förklaring. Detta gjorde att vi kunde undersöka vårt forskningsområde förutsättningslöst. Som respondenter valdes personer inom riskyrken. Dessa intervjuades och svaren analyserades. Det svar vi kom fram till var att dessa personer känner engagemang, intresse och trivsel i sitt arbete.

SAMMANFATTNINGFöretagens största syfte är att ge ägarna värde. Värde uppstår genom att tillgångar genererarett lönsamt kassaflöde. För att åkerier ska kunna konkurrera med andra behöver deminvestera i lastbilar. Investeringar innebär både möjlighet till framtida avkastning men ävenrisk. Hantering av risk kan ske genom en strävan mot optimal kapitalstruktur, det vill sägafördelningen av eget kapital och lån, vilket dessutom skiljer sig mellan olika företag ochbranscher.

This is a qualitative study that has investigated four people's experiences of making a physical change of life. With narrative depth interviews, the study was characterized by the informants own experience of their experiences and thoughts. With questions surrounding their experiences of alienation, belonging to the standard, people's attitude and prejudices against their appearance. The investigation revealed that the informants experienced shared experiences and things that separated them. The conclusion based on the people in this study was that people with low self-esteem are at greater risk for experiencing alienation.

In an attempt to prevent ground damage and to reduce harvesting costs, StoraEnso's districts Värmbodal and Fryken, selected a number of final felling areas where the base roads have been marked by planners in the districts. The parties involved in the experiment are mainly planners, harvester operators and forwarder operators. The purpose of this paper is to determine the findings of this trial and to find cost savings or lost revenue. This has been done with a sample of interviews from the involved parties who logged the chosen felling areas. Literature about the interview process has been used to facilitate data collection, interpretation and analysis of the material. If we look at profitability based on assumed income and expenditure, revenue per MWh would be 63 SEK.

The art of producing films have been around for more than a century and the technology just continues to evolve. But although much has happened in 100 years, there are also processes, theories and practices that look the same now as then. I write this thesis because I want to find the differences between the analogue and the digital way of production. This study is based on a qualitative approach because my ambition is to seek the views concerning film production processes. The advantages of analogue film is that it contains more information than the digital formats and that it has a more cinematic style.

Under den senare tiden har stort fokus i media legat på hur lantbrukaren kan uppnå bättre lönsamhet genom att bland annat använda sig av olika prissäkringssystem. Dessaprissäkringssystem är hjälpmedel för att hantera prisrisk. Det kan tyckas märkligt att tidigare problem och risker kopplade till ett lantbruksföretag helt plötsligt verkar vara som bortblåsta från dagens debatt kring lantbrukarens lönsamhet. I denna studie undersöks vilka metoderlantbrukaren använder sig av för att hantera produktionsrisk, skaderisk, teknologisk risk,juridisk osäkerhet, personell osäkerhet och osäkerhet som uppstår på grund av andra individers, företags och institutioners agerande.Det empiriska materialet är insamlat genom intervjuer med 10 lantbrukare. Alla dessa lantbrukare har olika förutsättningar och varje företag är unikt.

The aim has been to investigate and describe how gender-neutral design, concerning typefaces and colours, can be created. Based on my results I?ve designed a cover for a recipe-book to make it appealing to both women and men. I have been doing my research based on questions such as; Does feminine and masculine design, concerning typefaces and colours exist? And if so what characterizes it? Does gender-neutral design, concerning typefaces and colours exist? And if so what characterizes it? Is it possible to design a cover for a recipe-book in a gender-neutral way, concerning typefaces and colours? The first part of my research consists of a literature study based on keywords such as gender, graphic design, gender theory, typeface, androgynous, visual communication, colour, shape, feminine, masculine, and book design.

This project investigated the current market regarding wireless net and the communication between the tools used for diagnostics/maintenance and an embedded system. Based on documentation obtained through interviews a demo system was created based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between an embedded system and an Android device.This report intends to describe the tools and methods used in the design of the demo system and the result of an analysis of the BLE communication.Bluetooth Low Energy is an exciting protocol with wide applicability within the industrial field. This project investigated the communicational possibilities between a Smartphone and a Raspberry Pi and based on the results that emerged the conclusion can be drawn that BLE is a protocol with many beneficial applications within industrial IT..

Den klassiska teorin antar att ekonomiska aktörer fattar beslut under risk utifrån korrekta skattingar av statistiska sannolikheter. I ljuset av experimentell forskning har dessa axiom emellertid visat sig vara kontrafaktiska. Människor har kognitiva begränsningar som resulterar i logiska felslut och emotioner som medför temporära begränsningar att göra sakliga och konsekventa bedömningar. För att möta de kognitiva begränsningarna måste människor förenkla problem med olika former av heuristiker så att kostnaden för att fatta ett specifikt beslut begränsas. Ekonomiska problem under risk präglas allmänt av stor komplexitet, därför är det ett område där det är förhållandevis lätt att urskilja olika heuristiker.

This study, based on the socio-cultural theory of the book as a mediating tool, examines how four teachers say they work with the reader ABC-klubben. This is done with a focus on how they reason about choosing the level of readers for the pupils and about what compensation, if any, they make for pupils who read the simpler book and therefore miss the more difficult words and expressions. The result shows that all the teachers say that they take the pupils? motivation for and pleasure in reading as an important ground for the decision as to which reader a pupil should use, and that this decision is taken with a focus on the individual. When it comes to compensation for the pupils who read the simpler book, the teachers do not describe consistently focused work on this, but they describe a similar way of working whereby they nevertheless acquaint these pupils with the more difficult book and the harder words and expressions.

Between 1965 and 1975 a major housing project was carried out in Sweden to resolve a major housing crisis, the so-called one million housing program (Swedish: miljonprogrammet). To raise the standards and create a more attractive housing in these areas is currently a very relevant topic in Sweden.Evidence-based design is the process of basing decisions of the built environment on credible research and studies to achieve the best possible outcome. This method is primarily used in the healthcare sector to improve quality of care and reduce costs by creating healthy environments.The possibility of refurbish apartment buildings from miljonprogrammet using evidence-based design has been studied by means of an extensive literature review and a closer examination of the residential area, Husby in Stockholm, which has been chosen to represent the miljonprogrammet in its entirety. Furthermore, the evidence-based research has been limited to seven fields; nature, noise, color, wayfinding, safe environment, daylight and thermal comfort which has been assessed to be applicable on housing. In order to obtain a comprehensive overview of the different fields, four different subjects were chosen to investigate further within each field; research and studies, laws and regulations, constructional aspect and Husby.

This thesis is based on an assignment from a unit within an international group manufacturing industrial products. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze and suggest ways to improve the cost accounting system in use at the unit. The main source of empirical data has been interviews with employees. The theoretical framework is based on a comparison between traditional/standard costing and activity-based costing (ABC). The cost accounting system in use is described in detail and classified as a traditional/standard cost accounting system.
