Nyhetskonsumtionen har genomgått en förändring i Sverige. Helsingborgs Dagblad (HD) har upplevt en stadig minskning av papperstidningsprenumeranter, samtidigt som antalet läsare ökat på Internet. HD har också upplevt ett stort annonstapp på senare år vilket ligger i linje med andra mediebolag. Skiftande mediepreferenser har potentialen att ändra spelreglerna för tidningsbranschen då allt fler läsare väljer att konsumera nyheter på Internet. Samtidigt finns det indikationer på att konsumenter är ovilliga att betala för nyhetskonsumtion på Internet.

This thesis was built on a practical work for LM Ericsson Data AB and deals with how toexamine an information need for a limited department within the corporation using aqualitative interview method.The thesis deals with how to search for requested information on the Internet and the WorldWide Web (WWW). It contains a model and a method for evaluation of search engines onthe World Wide Web, and 16 search engines which primarily indexes the World Wide Webare being evaluated..

The systems environments of today are often distributed and heterogeneous. These kind of systems have several advantages but also disadvantages. One problem is how to keep them secure.The security problems in these environments are mainly due to the communication between the connected computers. It is relatively easy to tap these communication channels from information. There is also a need for the possibility to secure these channels from modification of sent information and to be able to verify the sender and receiver of information in a secure manner.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine if academic libraries market e-journals, and if so how this work is carried out. The ambition is to study what channels and methods the Libraries use, to inform their users that they have access to e-journals. The aim is also to survey if the libraries evaluate the use of the e-journals, and if so how. The objectives of the work are reached by using two main methods, document analysis and qualitative interviews. The study has been performed on three university libraries.

Det här arbetet har som huvudsyfte att belysa och ta fram vilka motiv det finns till att implementera datalager. Datalager är en teknik för att ta fram beslutsstödssystem där slutanvändarna själva tar fram sin information. Ett beslutsstödssystem har till uppgift att ge beslutsfattare (slutanvändare) information om en hel eller delar av en organisation. I introduktionen förklaras närmare vad ett beslutsstödssystem och datalager är för någonting samt ges exempel på i vilka sammanhang datalager används. En förklaring ges också till den historiska utvecklingen mot datalagerFör att få fram motiven har intervjuer genomförts hos fyra stycken företag som implementerat datalager.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka svenskämnets identitet och attityden till ämnet. Undersökningen är riktad till elever i år 9, svensklärare och lärare i andra ämnen. Hur ser dessa informantgrupper på ämnet och ämnets roll i skolan? Undersökningen grundar sig i tre olika frågeformulär (bilaga 1, 2 och 3) och den är utförd med både kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod.Resultatet från undersökningen visar att attityden till svenskämnet i stort är positiv. När det gäller ämnets identitet och kärna visar resultatet på ett till ytan sett helhetsämne men ämnet verkar splittrat då vi gör en fördjupad tolkning av svaren.

The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how venture capitalists can use their network in order to reduce information asymmetries between themselves and the venture management team. A qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews, consisting of open questions, have been used to receive gradate information in order to reach our explorative purpose. Our theoretical framework consists of relevant studies made on the dynamics of networks and the problems that can arise in the complex relationship between a principal and an agent. We have been interviewing two venture capital firms and therepresentatives from two business angel networks. We also made an additional interview with an influential financial actor in order to try to verify our conclusions Our conclusions are that an extensive network can be used by venture capitalists in order to; verify ventures? technologies, complement the competences in the venture management team, and arrange co-investments, resulting in reduced information asymmetries between themselves and the venture management team.

Syfte: Att undersöka hur kvinnor med diabetes typ-1 upplever informationen före och i samband med graviditet samt omvårdnaden i samband med graviditet. Metod: Semistrukturerade intervjuer med sju kvinnor genomfördes och innehållet analyserades med tematisk analysmetod för att få fram kategorier och subkategorier. Resultat: Majoriteten av kvinnorna fick information gällande graviditet i samband med behandlingen av sin diabetessjukdom av hälsovården innan de blev gravida. Många av kvinnorna upplevde att fokus under graviditeten låg på blodsockerkontrollerna och att barnmorskorna på specialistmödravården fokuserade på diabetessjukdomen och glömde mödravården. Informationen på specialistmödravården upplevdes som bristande eller saknades helt och kvinnorna valde att söka information själva.

Ända sedan 1800-talet har ?tennisarmbåge? eller lateral epicondylit som vi säger inom sjukvården idag varit ett begrepp. Etiologin är okänd, men det är troligt att det uppkommer genom överbelastning av det gemensamma muskelfästet för handledens extensorer som benämns den laterala epikondylen. Prevalensen i befolkningen är 1-3% dock något högre 19% hos män mellan 40-50 år. Det är vanligt med kombinationsbehandlingar för lateral epikondylit men det råder oenighet om vilken metod eller kombination som ger den bästa effekten.

This paper deals with the use of Internet at Swedish public libraries. The author asks whether public libraries should or should not limit access to information available on the Internet. Starting from the American discussion, concerning Internet at public libraries, the author shows the Swedish attitudes. The paper demonstrates that many Swedish public libraries have adopted rules forbidding retrieval of certain kinds of information, such as hard-core pornography and racist propaganda. The persons in charge of such actions claim that public libraries should provide high-quality educational literature and should not spread mass-produced, provocative information.

Purpose ? The purpose of this study is to identify and describe how consumer perceptions regarding information quality, sender credibility and effect of eWOM-communication differ between Facebook and Prisjakt.Approach ? Based on previous research an analytical model was designed. The parts in the model were the aspects of the problem which the present study aimed to examine. An experimental design was applied in which ten students at Örebro University were exposed to a scenario where they took part of eWOM-communication concerning a specific product on Facebook and Prisjakt and then had to answer questions in an interview. The analytical model formed the base of the interview guide used in the interview and the specific product was chosen with help from a focus group.Implication ? The study illustrates that consumers may perceive the quality higher on Prisjakt while the sender credibility can be perceived higher on Facebook.

Detta kommer att undersökas i en fallstudie om hur Trafikverkets formella strategi fungerar vid en operativ störning på järnvägen.Frågeställningar:Vid en operativ störning på järnvägen - vilka medier använder sig allmänheten av för att få information?Hur arbetar Trafikverket strategiskt med att förmedla information till allmänheten vid en operativ störning på järnvägen?Teori: González-Herrero & Smiths teori om hur den internetbaserade teknologin förändrar hur företag hanterar kriser och Ki och Nekmats teorier kring sina forskningsresultat om kriskommunikation på Facebook.Metod: En kvantitativ metod genom en enkät, en kvalitativ metod genom en intervju med Viktor, kundtjänsthandläggare på Trafikverket och sedan en jämförelse med Trafikverkets riktlinjer Trafikverkets närvaro i sociala medier och Hantering av Trafikverkets sociala kanaler.Materialet:Resultatet av enkäten och intervjun samt Trafikverkets riktlinjer.Resultat:I dagens samhälle vill medelanvändarna få snabb, enkel och effektiv information. Internet innehåller så omfattande information att det är omöjligt att ta del av allting, därför söker användarna invidanpassad information. Medieutvecklingen har gjort det möjligt för medieanvändarna att få information utan att behöva söka upp den, exempelvis genom appar.

This Masters thesis aims at investigating how 15-year old girls use the Internet, particularly on their free time, taking a source critical perspective. It includes group interviews. The main question of this thesis was whether there is a need for specific user education. The following four questions were asked: What do they do on the Internet during their free time? In what way do the girls learn how to interact with each other on the Internet? How do they relate to different types of web pages and materials from a source critical aspect? What content do they consider to be relevant in a user education? The study is mainly focused on information use and information behaviour in different contexts.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to investigate a information center called ?Infoteket om funktionshinder?. The purpose of Infoteket is to collect information about disabilities and make it accessible to people with disabilities, their relatives and public. In this survey I will analyze how Infoteket can help people with disabilities to achieve empowerment. I use empowerment as a theoretical framework as Jay A.
