Klimatförändringar och andra miljöproblem kan i framtiden komma att innebära stora påfrestningar på städer. Socio-ekologisk resiliens är ett sätt att förstå motståndskraft och förändring hos sociala och ekologiska system. För att göra städer mer motståndskraftiga för yttre och inre störningar har ett socio-ekologiskt resiliensförhållningssätt till planering ansetts givande. Konceptet socio-ekologisk resiliens kan också betraktas som en brygga mellan social hållbarhet och ekologisk hållbarhet.Denna uppsats undersöker ifall det finns uttryck för socio-ekologisk resiliens i svenska kommuners strategiska planering och om det finns strategier i kommunerna för att binda ihop social hållbarhet med ekologisk hållbarhet. Genom studier av teoretisk litteratur kring socio-ekologisk resiliens har fyra utgångspunkter för en planering för socio-ekologisk resiliens tagits fram och med hjälp av dessa fyra utgångspunkter analyseras nio kommunala översiktsplaner.Planerna har valts ut för att spegla ett genomsnitt av svenska kommuner.

This project investigates the cooperation between architect and engineer. The context of the investigation is the design of buildings for a sustainable society. The goal of the project is to further the development of the sustainable built society by increasing the knowledge of the interdisciplinary cooperation between these two fields. The focus is a close cooperation already from the start of a project. By involving both fields in the early design stages it is thought that the knowledge and skills of each field is better utilized.

Denna självklarhet kan dock snabbt förändras vid svår sjukdom där intubering och respiratorvård kan bli nödvändigt för att upprätthålla adekvat saturation. Detta är många gånger en traumatisk upplevelse för patienten. Intensivvårdssjuksköterskan är den som befinner sig närmast patienten och kontinuerligt observerar och monitorerar dennes tillstånd.

The predominant forestry harvesting method is based on the harvester-forwarder method, theharvester folds, branches and cuts trees, and sorts the logs into piles, while a forwarder transportsthe logs to a landing area.This master thesis work is about realization of a dynamic forwarder simulation model, and itspurpose is to provide an integrated forwarder simulation model in MATLAB/SimMechanicswhere the forwarder is based on a concept using pendulum arms to connect wheels and chassis.Active suspension control is developed and implemented into the simulation model, and finallycompared in simulation with passive suspension.In a first step, an integrated forwarder simulation model is developed, containing a simplifiedforwarder model, a tire-to-ground interaction model and a test track model. The simplifiedforwarder model is based a rigid multi-body system with a spring-damper suspension of thependulum arms. The tire-to-ground interaction model calculates the reaction forces, friction fromthe ground and applies the propulsion force. The test track model is a simplified version of thereal test track in Skogforsk. The propulsion wheel torque control is used to regulate theforwarder speed.

The decision of the European Commission to block the merger between Volvo and Scania in the late 90?s became the starting point to the debate of the possible discriminating effects of the European merger regulation. Especially since the Commission a few years earlier had approved of the merger between Mercedes-Benz and Kässbohrer on the German bus market, where the conditions for competition had been similar to those at hand in the Swedish case. The issue that was and still is in focus is whether the European merger regulation is more difficult to pass for large companies situated on a smaller domestic market than is the case for their competitors of corresponding size but situated on a larger domestic market.This thesis aims at examining what the judgement of the geographical relevant market means for the application of the Merger act. This is being done from two perspectives.

Despite the fact that the issue has been discussed for several decades, there are still no rules in Sweden mandating political parties and candidates to disclose received donations. Because of this lack of transparency, Sweden is not fulfilling some of its international obligations and has fallen behind in the international trend to increase the transparency of election campaign finance. The lack of disclosure rules in Sweden has led to extensive criticism, most notably from the Council of Europe´s group of states against corruption, Greco, who criticized Sweden in light of the guidelines on the subject from the Council of Europe. At this writing, a new proposal for disclosure rules is being prepared at the Department of Justice, DoJ. The proposal is to be presented in spring 2013.

This thesis enlightens these relationsbetween Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and an organization who acts in a varied andconstantly changing business environment. In other words, this thesis enlightens the question:?How suitable is SOA to organize the enterprise who will meet a constantly changing andheterogenic business environment?.The thesis presents a model where an efficient organization must be agile to be able to actquickly in the business environments with constantly changing desires, needs, expectations,desires etc. According to the same model a Service Oriented Architecture organizes theenterprise elements such as processes, resources, competences, responsibilities, informationsystems etc.

Framgång framstår i många sammanhang att involvera vinst och lönsamhet. Utgår lönsamhet ur resonemanget kring begreppet vilka värden kvarstår då? Det här är en studie av ideella humanitära organisationer. Det centrala i studien är att visa hur dessa organisationer definierar framgång, vilka målsättningar de har samt vilken maktstruktur som existerar. Studien har genomförts med ett subjektivistiskt perspektiv och idealistisk verklighetsuppfattning följt av en rationell kunskapsuppfattning.

Studiens syfte var att söka förstå och visa på praktiska exempel på hur ett inkluderande arbete kan se ut i en engelsk grundskola (Secondary School). Frågeställningarna i undersökningen sökte belysa definitionen av begreppet inkludering, konkreta arbetsmetoder bland pedagoger, specialpedagogisk personal och skolledning för att skapa inkludering samt utmärkande möjligheter och hinder i detta arbete. Studiens förankrades med utgångspunkt i Vygotskys sociokulturella teori där de specialpedagogiska perspektiven utgjordes av det kategoriska, det relationella och i viss mån det organisatoriska. Aktuell teori och perspektiv hjälpte till att strukturera upp insamlad empiri. Insamlingen skedde med hjälp av observationer, samtal och kvalitativa intervjuer under fyra dagar hösten 2013. Studien var en fallstudie i en engelsk skola i London med cirka 1200 elever i åldrarna 10-19 år, ett hundratal lärare och ett tjugotal lärarassistenter.

The public transport network in Täby commune consists currently of two types of bus line of whichboth belong to the category of feeder lines. The first type terminates at Danderyds sjukhus and feedsto the subway whereas the second type terminates at Täby centrum and feeds to Roslagsbanan, asuburban narrow-gauge railway system in northern Stockholm. The trunk bus line that connectsgreater parts of the commune with Danderyd is the ring line 604 and goes both clockwise (604H) andcounterclockwise (604V). The main negative aspect of this structure is the complicity in incorporatingit timetable-wise with other bus lines that share the same route, such as through Enebyberg.The goal of this project is to investigate the possibilities of splitting ring line 604 and connecting theends to two different bus routes that terminate at Täby centrum today. Apart from easing thecoordination with other bus lines through Enebyberg, the extension also creates new directconnections from various areas in Täby to Danderyds sjukhus.

The study was conducted in Jönköping County Chamber of fibrillation and is about change and improvement of process modeling technology. The process for treating patients with fibrillation is in the need to evolve and improve. In order to develop the care they needed a current state description which usually is made with the traditional process modeling tool.Many scientists and health professionals is in the opinion that this technology gives a too rigid image to describe the care processes. It also does not sufficiently take into account the human aspects. This reasoning suggests that the process modeling technology in healthcare is in the need to develop multiple perspectives.

Studiens syfte är att utreda hur de egenskaper, som kännetecknar Swedish Meats förtroendemannaorganisation, påverkar företagets framgång i termer av volym- och medlemsutveckling. Denna utvärdering görs genom en jämförelse med Danish Crowns förtroendemannaorganisation. Danish Crown har rönt stora framgångar och är världens största köttexportör medan Swedish Meats har haft svårt att visa positiva resultat. Studien bygger på två teorier, nämligen situationssynsättet och agentteori. Med dessa teorier som grund formuleras ett antal hypoteser, från vilka frågor härleds till den intervjuguide som används vid intervjuerna. Det empiriska materialet samlas in genom kvalitativa, personliga intervjuer med åtta förtroendevalda i Swedish Meats och fem i Danish Crown. I Swedish Meats intervjuas ordförande i styrelsen, två styrelseledamöter, ordförande i förvaltningsrådet samt fyra regionrådsordföranden.
