Key words: Differentiation, brand, apartment market Methodology: This thesis is built on an qualitative method, where eight open individual interviews have been made. Our choice of respondents was based on what kind of respondents that could give us the most accurate information on the subject which we based on relevant variables. Theory: The framing of the theories is based on a marketing perspective within the area of differentiating and focuses on how companies use different tools to differentiate their offer to create competitive advantages.

Kameraövervakning har ökat kraftigt under de senaste åren, under en dag fångas vi av ett fler-tal övervakningskameror till exempel i kollektivtrafiken, på gator, i gallerior och på arbetsplatser. Huvudsyftet med kameraövervakning ska vara att förebygga brott, förhindra olyckor och därmed jämförliga ändamål. Vid tillstånd av kameraövervakning är det Länsstyrelsen som gör en bedömning huruvida syftet med kameraövervakning väger tyngre än den personliga integriteten. I många fall nekas kameraövervakning just på grund av att syftet inte väger tyngre än den kränkning som sker på den personliga integriteten. Undersökningar om vad allmänheten anser om kameraövervakning är få och är dessutom några år gamla. Vi har därför valt att genomföra en mindre undersökning om vad civilingenjörsstudenter vid nio olika högskolor/universitet i Sverige anser om kameraövervakning på allmänna platser. Undersökningsfrågorna handlade till största del om inställning till kameraövervakning på allmänna platser rent allmänt men även studenternas inställning till kameraövervakning och den personliga integriteten. Undersökningen visar att majoriteten av civilingenjörsstudenterna som svarat på enkäten an-ser att det är positivt med kameraövervakning och 54 % anser även att fler platser bör övervakas, framförallt kollektivtrafiken, bankomater, nattklubbar/krogar, parkeringsplatser samt platser där brottsstatistiken är hög bör övervakas. Efter denna genomförda undersökning, som visar en positiv inställning till kameraövervakning, rekommenderar vi att en större undersökning bör genomföras för att få en bild av allmänhetens inställning till kameraövervakning på allmänna platser och personliga integriteten och se om man eventuellt kan lätta på lagar och regler för tillstånd för kameraövervakning på allmänna platser..

This degree project has been carried out by Niclas Andersson and Sebastian Zwahlen, students of the Innovation and Design Engineering Program at the Faculty of Technology and Science at Karlstad University. The project was carried out during the spring 2010 and includes 22, 5 ETCS credits.Initially the group had contact with the company Mavis möbler AB. Mavis gave the group the task of developing a new bedroom product. To assess the needs and problems of bedroom behaviors, an extensive questionnaire and several interviews were made. This became the starting point for further work.According to the results uncovered during the market research a vast problem was found with temporary clothing storage.

The content of the following report is the summarized result of three students thesis at Blekinge Institute of Technology in co-operation with Water Jet Sweden AB. This report will give the reader a description of principles how to measure the abrasive mass flow in a waterjet cutting system. The work began with a visit to Water Jet Sweden AB to get a closer look at the problem. When the analysis of the problem was done the criteria were defined in the form of demands and desires. The main task of the criteria was to guide the search for the solution. The work proceeded with an extensive search for abrasive flow meters along with obtaining information about flow measurement in general. When the search for abrasive flow meters resulted in nothing all the efforts were concentrated on finding a principle of measurement that could cope with the criteria.

Handel av modevaror på internet har de senaste åren ökat markant, men det finns en problematik i att bedöma en produkt utifrån en bild, vilket är en bidragande faktor till att returer ökat avsevärt. Det finns många aktörer på marknaden och deras produktutbud är dessutom förhållandevis lika.

Spelmotor är benämningen på den komponent som hanterar en del av mekaniken i ett datorspel. Förutom funktioner för grafik, fysik etc. finns också funktioner för rörelser, interaktion med världen etc. I detta examensarbete går vi in på hur en spelmotor för morgondagens mobiltelefon kan se ut, samt vad dagens mobiltelefoners hårdvara och mjukvara saknar för att dagens PC-spel ska kunna portas till dem. Stödet för att spela avancerade spel på mobiltelefoner växer ständigt och inom några år bör hårdvaran vara ungefär densamma som på PC.

Through extensive research it has shown that today?s sail boat owners are very frustrated concerning the limited choice of engine alternatives offered by today?s market. Besides rising fuel-costs, environmental awareness is very important in today?s society. Hence it is vital to find alternative environmental-friendly motors and replace combustion-engines. Zilent Ocean is an extensive project within Development engineering program at Halmstad University.

Presently Sjöfartsverket do their maintenance according to a standard program, which means that every maintenance task will be done when the task limit occurs. This leads to a very long downtime for the aircraft in some occasions and very short downtime in others. The goal with this work is to reach a higher regularity of the aircraft operation. To reach a higher regularity for the operational needs, this work will present a hypothetic better maintenance concept for Swedish Maritime Administration. The concept is based on equalized maintenance structure, which means that every maintenance occasions are meant to take the same time to perform.

The purpose of this work is to design and construct a device able to measure the mechanical attrition of oxygen carrier particles. Those particles are used in chemical looping combustion and in the present situation there is a lack of knowledge in how the attrition process work and in which extension. To find already tested solutions trying to answering this problem a literature study wascarried out and the best solution found was the so called Grace-Davison Jet-Cup method. This method is supposed to emulate the attrition caused by a cyclone separator and its advantages are that it is possible to use small test amounts, 5-10 g, and a thirty minutes long test will be enough to acquire useable results. An device was designed based on the Jet-Cup method with some slight modifications.

This report was made for the company HordaGruppen AB to investigate how information security was handled. This report fits in the Master program of Internet Technology at School of Engineering in Jönköping University in Sweden.The question at issue was how you protect your information against different threats. One question was how to make an information security policy and which guidelines you can follow in the Swedish Standard, SS-ISO/IEC 17799:2000.Another question was to investigate the information sources at the company and which threats there are against it.The work begins with a presentation about information security for the chief of information and the chief of quality in the company. The next thing was to do a survey of as thing are at present with a tool from Länsteknikcentrum called ?Infosäkpulsen?.

Theft without break-ins has increased significantly in the last year of swimming, sports and leisure facilities in Karlskrona, more precisely 60%. Vandalism in the shape of graffiti is another common crime. The solutions are divided into social and situational crime prevention. Social crime prevention engage in actions that are based on social causes of crime rather than the opposite situational crime prevention, which instead assumes that discourage with the help of technical solutions and has as primary objective to hinder accessibility for example theft friendly goods. The main purpose of this work is to come up with solutions to prevent these crimes, while also being cost-effective and realistic to implement. The work is important in that it creates safety awareness and promotes a healthy safety culture. Moreover, the future goal is to lower these statistics. The goal of the work is in addition to developing our knowledge of crime subject, was also to provide help and solutions for our clients.

Detta kandidatarbetet är utfört på ett bolag som verkar i telekommunikationsbranschen. Operatörerna på kundtjänst arbetar med att ta emot samtal från Telekombolagets kunder, hjälpa dem med att lösa problem och ge tips och råd. En viktig del av arbetet är att operatörerna gör en analys av kunden för att kunna ge bästa möjliga råd. Rapporten behandlar hur en del av ett textbaserat program kan omarbetas till en grafisk applikation. Etnografiska metoder, i form av observationsstudier och intervjuer, och designtekniker, i form av mockup- och prototypmöten, har använts tillsammans med användarna av programmet.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att försöka redogöra för möjligheten att minska energiförbrukningen för bostäder i Sverige. Idag står bostadssektorn för cirka 40 % av landets totala energianvändning. En satsning på lågenergihus såsom passivhus kan därför komma att ha stor betydelse för Sveriges strävan mot en hållbar utveckling när det gäller energianvändningen. Det är inte bara miljön som gynnas av energieffektiva satsningar utan även den boendes egen ekonomi. Detta eftersom framtidens energipriser sannolikt kommer att vara kraftigt stigande.

The thesis was performed at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB in the department ofmechanical engineering, FTCM. Forsmark nuclear power plant has had problems with cracks in some of the controlrods which are placed in the reactor at Forsmark 3. To investigate the cause of this,material samples were taken from five of the damaged control rods. This sampling ofthe rods resulted too short rods to be transported in the shipping container to theinterim storage facility for used nuclear fuel in Oskarshamn. Control rods are crucial components in a nuclear reactor, regulating the reactoreffect by blocking or unblocking fuel rods. Control rods which have been in thereactor are always handled under water in order to protect against the radiation theyemit. The task was to design a control rod adapter that extends the control rod sotransport can be performed from Forsmark. The goal of the work was a complete setof blueprints so the control rod adapter can be manufactured and mounted on theshort control rods and then be transported to the interim storage facility. The work began with mapping of how control rods normally being handled from thereactor to the interim storage facility.

This bachelor thesis in mechanical engineering was performed during the spring2015 in collaboration with Composite Consulting Group in Laholm. TheComposites Consulting Group works mainly with design and details of differentcomposite projects, their main area is FE-calculations, 3D-modelling andmechanical tests with composite materials.The aim of this bachelor thesis was to simplify the calculation process of solidmechanics for sandwich panels by simulation with computer software. The goalwas to decrease the time for the design and calculation process of the constructionand the cost of the practical tests. Our task was to build a static three dimensionalmodel with the computer software Abaqus, where the result should correspondwith the practical pressure tests in laboratory.The project started with collection of material data from Composites ConsultingGroup and by learning the software Abaqus, simultaneously a specification wasdeveloped in corporation with the company. Later on, a static wheel pressuremodel in the software Abaqus was produced which simulated the behavior of thesandwich panel during static wheel-pressure by a pallet truck.
