The purpose of this essay, ?Now they are chasing paper-less - A qualitative discourse analysis of mass medias depiction of the Reva-project and the work of the police?, is to analyze how mass media portrays the Reva-project and polices work with the project. The basis for the essay will be eight selected newspapers. The Reva-project implies collaboration between the Police, the Swedish Migration board and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service within the border police. The aim of the project is to enhance the efficiency and the execution of the border police work, in accordance with the government?s target.

Studien undersöker hur polisen som institution kan synas och gestaltas inom journalistiken. Syftet var att studera hur Dagens Nyheter, Aftonbladet och Sydsvenskan väljer att gestalta och inrama ett enstaka fall där polisen är inblandad, i detta fall Reva-projektet, där polisen är en mycket stor aktör.Tidningarnas rapportering, under tidsperioden 1 januari till 31 mars 2013, har studerats utifrån 114 artiklar kvantitativt och har även kvalitativt tittats närmare på, utifrån aspekter viktiga för studiens syfte. Artiklarna har analyserats och tolkats utifrån faktorer väsentliga för framing theory eller med svensk benämning gestaltningsteori.En klar inramning som tidningarna väljer att göra kring polisen är deras "jakt" på människor. Detta ligger som en röd tråd i alla tidningar.  Aftonbladet och Dagens Nyheter har mer sensationsrubriker, medan Sydsvenskan fokuserar mer på debatten kring Reva-projektet som helhet. Gemensamt ramar tidningarna in polisen som ägare av Reva-projektet.

This thesis discusses the theory of securitization in relation to the issue of irregularmigration, from EU level to national level. By using discourse analysis, the purpose isto explore whether the discourse leads to practice when it comes to nationalimplementation of EU debates on return policy. The material used in this workconsists of policy documents regarding the Return Directive from the EuropeanCommission as well as the Reva Project in Swedish migration policy. The mainobjective of the Reva Project is to make the process of returning irregular immigrantsmore effective and it has been strongly criticized, both by media and public opinion.The conclusion of this case study is that even if the security rhetoric may appearstronger on the EU level, the main elements of the security discourse are stillportrayed in the implementation on the national level. Based on this analysis we canmake the presumption that discourse develops into practice in the case of returnpolicy in the EU-member state relation..

In the year of 2012, a police project called ?Reva? was established in Sweden. The goal was to increase efficiency in deporting undocumented migrants from Sweden. Two articles relating to the project were published in Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. One was an open letter to Attorney General Beatrice Ask, written by the famous author Jonas Hassen Khemiri.

Inom ett servicemöte finns det många olika faktorer såsom miljö och olika aktörer som har en påverkan på den upplevda kvalitén och tolkningen av platsen och verksamheten. I arbetet har vi strävat efter att undersöka hur Kronovalls Vinslott arbetar för att skapa en gourmetupplevelse. Detta är ett kvalitativt arbete där vi har utgått från intervjuer, observationer och insamlat textmaterial. Genom att undersöka Kronovalls Vinslott har vi försökt se hur en verksamhet i praktiken gör för att skapa och stödja gourmetupplevelsen genom; texter, frontpersonalen, det fysiska stödet och de olika interaktioner som kan uppstå i servicemötet. Undersökningen visar på att begreppet gourmet är diffust, men att det finns många likheter i hur personalen på Kronovalls Vinslott tolkar begreppet.
