Strategiska förändringar ur ett yrkesperspektiv : En studie av ambulanssjukvårdarna i Östergötland
Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva och analysera hur en yrkesgrupp påverkas av förändrade kompetenskrav och upprepade verksamhetsövertaganden.Metod: Vi har gjort en kvalitativ fallstudie av ambulanssjukvården i Östergötland, en del av sjukvården som är offentligt finansierad men som drivs av en privat entreprenör. Såväl primär- som sekundärdata har använts.Teoretiska perspektiv: Teoriavsnittet innefattar offentlig sektors omvandling, kompetens, förändring, stress, yrkesroll och yrkesidentitet.Empiri: Primärdata har inhämtats från tre intervjuer med personer som har god kontakt med den specifika verksamheten och de anställda. Sekundärdata har inhämtats från tryckt litteratur och ett antal elektroniskt publicerade artiklar.Slutsats: Ambulanssjukvården har de senaste decennierna genomgått vissa förändringar. Verksamheten har privatiserats, blivit mer tekniskt avancerad och dessutom har Socialstyrelsen höjt kompetenskraven för de anställda. De ökade kompetenskraven har lett till en ökad fokusering på formell utbildning, och försök till att stärka yrkesidentiteten och strävan efter professionalisering..
En mix av krav: En studie av finansieringsmodeller i ideell sektor
In this thesis a study about funding in civil-society organizations is carried out. The aim is to understand how an organization in civil-society is affected by different forms of financing models. The empirical material in the thesis consists of a case study of three Swedish civil-society organizations (CSO) producing social services in the field of rehabilitation of people with a drug addiction. The case study consists of mainly interviews with people holding a leading position in the three organizations together with a study of for the research question relevant documents. From the empirical material, including an extensive analysis of these organizations different income sources, a partial model of how to categorize and analyze different forms of funding in CSOs is developed.
?Ärligt talat så har det [tradingen] blivit en skitaffär? : En fallstudie av HQ Bank
The global financial crisis hit hard on banking operations worldwide and the sector fell under considerable scrutiny, with particular criticism directed against the banks' own trading practices. A bank owned by the Swedish financial corporation HQ seemed to go without serious financial damage duringthe crisis.In 2008 Finansinspektionen began a review of HQ's activities and a number of shortcomings were identified. Among other things, HQ's risk management was questioned by Finansinspektionen and further how this potentially affected the valuation of complex financial products.In our paper we have chosen to highlight both national and international laws and guidelines that HQ used for their operations and study if HQ followed those laws and guidelines. We also want topresent the theoretical model used by HQ for the valuation of its European options and how HQ calculated their capital requirements ratio. Our purpose is to show how the valuation affected the capitalrequirement ratio and whether HQ followed the necessary laws and guidelines for the valuation of complex financial products.We have chosen to carry out a case study from a deductive approach.

The interest for venture capital within the financial sector in Sweden has, according to earlier studies, been seen as a growing occurrence. Especially for what is known as informal venture capital. In modern times, private investors who engage themselves in small, unlisted companies, providing informal venture capital are to be known as business angels. They close equity gaps on the financial market by contribute financial capital to start-ups and are therefore an important participant on today?s market.
Upplevelser som verktyg för differentiering av snabbrörliga produkter inom dagligvaruhandeln: en modell för kommersiell produktdifferentiering
Dagligvaruhandeln är en bransch med hård konkurrens. Detta sätter en press på företagen att paketera sina produkter på ett sätt som differentierar dem från övriga marknadens produkter. Vi har sett problematiken i detta och tagit fram en modell som ger produkten en differentiering i form av upplevelser som berikar kunden med ett mervärde.Rapporten utgår från metoder och teorier som skapar en förutsättningen för att kunder ska intresseras, involveras och engageras i en produktupplevelse vilket ska resultera i köplust. Detta gör vi främst genom att behandla ämnen och teorier så som konsumtionsupplevelse, konsumentens beteende samt upplevelseekonomin och teorier där inom så som; the progression of economic value, the experience realms, tre generationer upplevelse, sinnen, tematisering, storytelling samt Kano-modellen. I rapporten diskuterar vi även ämnen som dagligvaruhandel, individanpassning och varumärke.Uppsatsens syfte ?att ta fram en generell modell för kommersiell differentiering av snabbrörliga produkter inom dagligvaruhandeln utifrån upplevelseekonomin? undersöks utifrån ett positivistiskt förhållningssätt med en deduktiv ansats och är grundad på en forskningsöversikt.

This study aims to investigate how participants in a companys traineeprogram describe that the programmes educational tasks has prepared them for their future work. The study also examines how participants perceive that they have developed skills that are specifik to their profession and how they became part of a community. The following questions were formed to make it possible to investigate the purpose further; ?Do the participants feel that the interaction within the trainee group has promoted their learning??, ?How does the participants describe the training elements in relation to their development of competencies that they use in their professional role?? and ?How does the traineeprogram contribute to the participants becoming part of a community??. This was examined by taking part of what previous research has highlighted as important for learning and socialization in relation to traineeprograms.
Organisationskultur ur säkerhetsperspektiv ? en fallstudie utifrån Cultural Theory
The aim of this master?s thesis is to identify differences and similarities, regarding security, in two goods terminals in an organisation in the transport and goods sector. In this thesis we use Cultural Theory as an analytical instrument to investigate organizational culture, as seen from a security perspective. Cultural Theory is a theory seen from two perspectives, the stable perspective and the mobile perspective. These two perspectives concentrate on different research areas.

This thesis has a deductive approach, where existing theories dealing empowerment formed the basis for the design of interview substrate, which is then paired with the empirical evidence, based on this the conclusions was drawn.Result & Conclusion:What separates the different kinds of empowerment and how it affect the staff depends most of all on how the management chooses to communicate and share information with their staff.Suggestions for future research:A study regarding managers that works with different kinds of empowerment, and how that affects them, could be regarded as an interesting future research.Contribution of thesis:It shows that different kinds of empowerment affect the staff in different ways, which I made clear to the readers.Keywords:empowerment, thinking skills, relations and organizational - structure and theory.
När goda råd är dyra: En fallstudie av användandet av konsulttjänster i den ideella sektorn
A case study was done of Sthlm Policy Group, a consulting agency that mainly targets NGOs and government agencies in the peace and security sector. The goal of the case study was to explore the tendency of NGOs in Sweden to hire commercial consulting companies. The main interest was to see what the key reasons are for NGOs to hire private consulting agencies, but also to explore what problems that might be associated with such relationships. Interviews were carried out with representatives of the consulting agency, with its clients as well as with other NGOs that were identified as potential clients. The interviewed NGOs and government agencies were found to approve of the use of commercial consultants.

Goat production in Laos and the potential of using Erythrina variegata as a feedstuff
Lao People?s Democratic Republic (PDR) is a country where the majority of the population works within the sector agriculture in one way or another. The number of goats are increasing and the animals can be an important income source for families. However, during the dry season, lack of feed is a great problem for the farmers. Fodder trees have shown great potential as dry season feeding, due to that the trees often hold green and fresh leaves a long time into the season, compared to grass that dry out quickly.
The Price Phenomenon of Equity Issues-A Study on Initial Public Offerings and Seasoned Equity Offerings-
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the price effect on the initial day of trading of IPOs and the price effect on the announcement day of SEOs on Stockholm Stock Exchange. A second purpose it to conduct studies on which factors influencing the price effects and if these factors can be explained by the same fundamental ideas. Theories regarding capital structure and the pricing of IPOs and SEOs are covered. The capital structure theories involve; Miller and Modigliani's cost of captial theory, Static Tradeoff Model and the Pecking Order. The Efficient Market Hypothesis is presented and previous theories are investigated.
Anknytningsstil : En undersökning om arbetstillfredsställelse och anknytningsstil hos anställda i vårdsektorn
Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka anknytningsteorin i relation till arbetslivet. Anknytningsteorin behandlar samspelet mellan omvårdnad och anknytning. Teorin omfattas av olika anknytningsstilar: trygg, undvikande och ängslig, som människan utvecklar beroende på hur de behandlas av sin primära vårdnadsgivare under uppväxten. Det huvudsakliga syftet var att undersöka om trygg anknytningsstil genererar hög arbetstillfredsställelse. Studien utgick från Self Determination Theory som bygger på att behoven autonomi, kompetens och samhörighet bör uppfyllas för att skapa motivation och därmed nå högre tillfredsställelse.
Same same but different- en semiotisk inspirerad bildanalys av ett svenskt hotells marknadsföringskampanj i Danmark och Sverige
Detaljhandelsarbete har målats upp som ett lågstatusyrke i såväl media, litteratur, som av branschen själv under alla de tre år som vi har studerat Retail Management vid Lunds Universitet. Med hjälp av teorier kring status och angränsande begrepp, samt intervjuer med företrädare för både arbetsgivar- och arbetstagarorganisationer försöker vi i denna studie finna svar på vad som förklarar varför arbete inom detaljhandeln har den status det har. Vi söker också svar på varför branschen vill höja statusen samt vilka åtgärder som vidtas, och kan vidtas, för att lyckas med detta.I uppsatsen förklaras detaljhandelsarbetets låga status med att det är en bransch som kännetecknas av obekväma arbetstider, många deltidsanställningar, kvinnodominans, en stor andel okvalificerade arbetsuppgifter samt en låg lönenivå.Denna studie visar också att de olika branschaktörerna har delvis olika motiv till att vilja höja statusen. Arbetsgivarsidan ser en höjd status som en möjlighet till att attrahera fler sökande med högre kompetens till branschen vilket förbättrar företagens konkurrenskraft, medan arbetstagarsidan, representerade av fackförbunden, ser en möjlighet till förbättrade arbetsvillkor. För att uppnå statusmålet vill arbetsgivarsidan tydliggöra karriärvägarna inom detaljhandeln samt öka den formella kompetensnivån.
