Sammanfattning Syfte och frågeställningar: Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur individen hanterar sin stress i termer av livsstilsbeteenden, där särskilt fysisk aktivitet stod i fokus. ?Hur upplever individen att fysisk aktivitet påverkar upplevelsen av stress?? och ?Vilken roll spelar arbetsmiljön för upplevelsen av stress samt fysisk aktivitet?? användes som frågeställningar. Metod: En kvalitativ studie som grundar sig i intervjuer utifrån en intervjuguide som kan beskrivas som ?riktat öppen?.

The aim of this study was to identify possible reasons for non-attendance related to mammographic screening. Using qualitative methods, sex women underwent a semi-structured interview on the following themes: social background, medical history, mammographic screening, invitation, and final decision.Social background was described using the "life-form theory". The concepts of illness, disease, and sickness were used in order to investigate medical conditions and their impact. The process of non-attendance was studied using a model by Zovko, balancing different needs affecting decisions and final action.According to their decision, and final action, women were defined as "participants", "passive non-attenders" or "active non-attenders". Most women belonged to the life-form "paid work" and had children.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. This essay is a case-study of a phenomenon called ?ostalgie? which could be described as GDR-nostalgia. ?Ostalgie? is a compound of the two German words ?ost? (east) and ?Nostalgie? (nostalgia.) It is, like a similar phenomenon referred to as ?communist nostalgia?, a type of nostalgia. However, if one were to define ?ostalgie? as ?communist nostalgia? important aspects of the phenomenon would be left out.

I det moderna samhället är det många faktorer som leder till upplevelsen av stress. Dessa faktorer kan bland annat bero på samhällets snabba förändringar, de höga kraven, och att vi ska finnas till hands större delen av dygnet. Kombinerar man dessa faktorer med individens olika sociala roller är risken hög att individen upplever kraven som stressande. Förutom arbetets krav existerar även krav efter arbetet när man måste ägna sig åt familjen. Min studie fokuserar på att ta reda på vilka faktorer som kan ge upphov till stress hos arbetande föräldrar.

Suicid har minskat i Sverige de senaste decennierna men ändå är suicid den vanligaste dödsorsaken bland män i åldersgruppen 15-44 år och bland kvinnor i samma åldersgrupp är det den näst vanligaste dödsorsaken. ....

Introduktion: Stress blir ett allt vanligare problem och är därför viktigt att förebygga. Natu- ren och fysisk aktivitet är två viktiga komponenter både i förebyggande och behandlande syfte. Denna studie undersöker om träning utomhus har en större reducerande effekt på stress än träning inomhus samt om det skiljer sig i stressnivå mellan kvinnor och män. Metod: Två grupper med studenter jämfördes, en grupp som huvudsakligen tränar inomhus och en som tränar utomhus. För att kartlägga deltagarnas aktivitetsvanor och stressnivå användes enkäter, varav 83 var brukbara.

The Swedish concept of bildning, related to the German Bildung, finding its correspondence in English in refinement, formation and culture, is an important, though traditional rather than modern concept in cultural policy and sphere. The concept connected to the activity of the public library is relevant, as the library uses the word as a description of parts of its work. The meaning of the concept can easily be seen to be complex as well as disputed, borders on and is related to other concepts. The paper discusses different meanings to the concept according to different Swedish authors, as well as the connection of the concept to related ones. The varieties and differences are expressed as differences in discourse.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe what nurses experienced in connection with waiting time related frustration among patients and relatives in the emergency department and also what strategies nurses use to manage waiting time related frustration.Background: The numbers of emergency department visits are increasing and lead to waiting times which can cause frustration among patients and relatives, a frustration that nurses encounter in their everyday work and need strategies to deal with.Methods: This is a descriptive qualitative study. Interviews are conducted with five nurses, transcribed and analyzed by qualitative content analysis.Findings: The nurses feel inadequate and powerless when they meet patients and relatives frustration. In order to deal with patients and relatives frustration, they use the strategy of participation, which implies to involve and meet patients and relatives needs for information and to be seen. In order to prevent themselves becoming frustrated they use adaptability, by creating an inner calm, not take it personally and to distance themselves from the frustration.Conclusion: The result highlights the importance of managing the activity to reduce waiting time related frustration, for example through reflection and working for reducing waiting times. Bakgrund: Det blir allt vanligare att företag i både privat och offentlig sektor bedriver verksamhet i projektform. Numera använder även vissa företag projektformen som det dominerande sättet att driva verksamheten. Projekt leder till att nya och större krav ställs på den anställde med okända svårigheter att övervinna, konflikter att lösa samt nya utmaningar att möta. Samtidigt ser vi en ökande utbredning av långtidssjukskrivna på grund av stressrelaterade sjukdomar. Beror denna stress på höga arbetskrav och nedskärningar i arbetslivet eller på nya organisationsideal som råder i dagens samhälle? Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån individens perspektiv studera huruvida arbetsförhållanden motsvarande de kriterier vilka ingår i projektarbete, kan komma att leda till stress för individen.

The aim of this study is to investigate how different organizations and authorities work and collaborate to make children of mentally ill parents more visible. The question formulations, which are used in our research, are:- How do different organizations and authorities work to make children of mentally ill parents more visible and how can this work be improved?- How do laws and guidelines affect the organizations and authorities work to make children of mentally ill parents more visible? - Is there any collaboration between the different organizations and authorities concerning work with children of mentally ill parents, and how does that work appear? A qualitative method strategy was chosen to gather an in-depth understanding of the informant?s experiences and to collect descriptive information. Six organizations and authorities were selected from the comprehension that they could be important in giving support and because it is possible for them to pay attention to these children. Interviews were performed by using a half- structured interview guide.

Inriktningen för det svenska försvaret är att uppnå ett flexibelt och rörligt insatsförsvar. Akut stress under krigsliknande situationer är något dagens officer kan komma att ställas inför, vilket ställer höga krav på officeren och de militära ledarskapsförmågorna.Med tanke på den nya inriktningen inom Försvarsmakten är det högst aktuellt att undersöka om det officeren lär sig under utbildning stämmer överens med verkligheten och om teorier kan anses som relevanta även under insats. Är teorier som lärs ut vid Försvarsmaktens ledarskapsutbildning tillämpbara i praktiken?Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om teorier kring ledarskap under stress, som lärs ut inom Försvarsmakten, överensstämmer med officerens ledarskap vid internationella insatser.Genom en deduktiv logik genomförs en teoriprövande fallstudie på BA01, utifrån en kvalitativ metod och textanalys. Det utvalda fallet analyseras utifrån en svensk modell för ledarskap under akut stress.Slutsatserna för denna undersökning är:-          Vald teori fungerar i praktiken och är ytterst relevant för militärt ledarskap i internationella insatser.-          En stabil grund i det vardagliga ledarskapet, kopplat till ledaren och organisationen, gynnar beslutsfattande under akut stress.-          Det är viktigt att förstå vilka bakomliggande faktorer som kan påverka ledarskapet under akut stress och ämnet måste därför undersökas från flera perspektiv och ses som en del av ett större sammanhang.-          Ledarskap påverkas av förhållandet mellan chefen och dennes underställda, men även hur väl samarbetet fungerar inom organisationen såväl med likställda som högre chefer.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how social welfare secretaries from the social service and welfare officers from adult psychiatry experience the cooperation between themselves in relation to mentally ill mothers and their children.Moreover, the study aims to shed light on social welfare secretaries and welfare officers views on potential gender related differences in the work with mentally ill mothers and fathers.Five qualitative interviews were performed in two separate municipals in the Stockholm area. Three of the respondents were social welfare secretaries in the social services and two were welfare officers in the adult psychiatry. Our theoretical starting point has been role theory and a model of different dimensions of cooperation.Our result showed that there were shortcomings in the cooperation between the two principals. How well the cooperation worked differed between the two municipals. In one of the examined municipals the cooperation could only be found on an individual client or individual patient case level, whilst in the other municipal the cooperation existed on a more general level in the form of project meetings.

In todays society IT in general and the Internet in particular are given elements in people´s everyday lives, and smartphones has come to be a big part of those elements. This study focuses on how the use of Smartphones in particular influences the individuals in their working environment, and how this use influence the efficiency and the well-being of said individuals.  To answer our research question regarding how said use comes to effect the efficiency and the well-being for proffesionals in their working environment we have used data from qualitative interviews who is enriched by a short initial diary study. This data has then been analyzed using the Affinity Diagrams Technique, leading to four central themes emerging from the data. The results show that smartphone use at work comes with both positive and negative effects; efficiency increased through the use of smartphones due to the great versatility that comes with the technology, while in terms of well-being issues of stress emerged.

Försvarsmakten i Sverige genomgick år 2010 omfattande förändringar för att bli mer tidsenlig och punktinsats-orienterad. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur försvarsmaktens organisationsförändring har påverkat officerarnas upplevelse av det ledarskap de utövar och hur de motiverar sina soldater samt undersöka officerarnas upplevda arbetsbörda och stress. Informationen hämtades genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem verksamma officerare. Resultatet av en tematisk analys visade att officerarna är anhängare av ett ledarskap där medarbetare inkluderas och får möjlighet att tillgodose sina psykologiska behov, vilket kan härledas till moderna och tidsenliga motivations- och ledarskapsteorier. Dessutom framgick det att de flesta officerarna upplevde stress som kan relateras till omorganisationen samt försvarsmaktens starka kultur..
