Barn till psykisk sjuka kan ha ökad risk för psykisk ohälsa men detta kan uppvägas av tillgängliga skyddsfaktorer. Barn har blivit mer uppmärksammade inom vuxenpsykiatrin på senare år. Beardslees familjeintervention implementeras sedan 2008 i Sverige. Studien undersökte hur vuxenpsykiatrin stödjer barn till psykisk sjuka, speciellt angående interventionen. Tio anställda, utbildade i interventionen, från sju psykiatriska kliniker i Stockholm intervjuades.

Med risk för långvarig stress bland anställda inom socialtjänsten, ställs höga krav på chefer i ett psykosocialt arbete. Då socialtjänst är ramstyrt, söker bistånd samt har svårigheter i prioritering av arbetet ställer detta frågan hur chefer upplever förutsättningen till det psykosociala arbetsmiljöarbetet. Sex chefer inom en socialförvaltning har intervjuats. Intervjuerna analyserades genom en innehållsanalys med ett manifest fokus. Resultaten visar en homogen upplevelse att med rätt inställning finns förutsättningar för ett arbete som gynnar den psykosociala arbetsmiljön.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa hur sjukvården kan stötta anhöriga till substansberoende. I bakgrunden beskrivs definitionen av anhöriga och närstående, samt en beskrivning på anhörigstöd och anhörigperspektiv. I bakgrunden redogörs även för alkoholen och narkotikans effekter på människan samt dess konsekvenser. Uppsatsen är uppbyggd på en integrativ litteraturstudie enligt Fribergsmodell, detta med hjälp av elva vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: Sex teman (tid, samtal, hopp, tillgänglighet, att lyssna och anpassning) syntetiserades ut ur de kvalitativa artiklarna och statistik plockades fram ur de kvantitativa artiklarna. För att anhöriga till substansberoende ska få stöd krävs vissa faktorer från sjukvården.

The aim was to examine writing ability and some of its underlyingfunctions in adults with intellectual or communicative disabilities at dailyactivity centres by comparisons with children and adults without disabilities.66 adults with intellectual or communicative disabilities, 39 children and 14adults without disabilities were included. The following tests/tasks wereexecuted: Test for Reception of Grammar-2, graphomotor task, nonwordrepetition, Rapid Automatized Naming and Writing elicited by pictures. Thepicture elicited narratives were examined regarding length, spelling,syntactic complexity, interpunctuation, content and general impression. Theresults demonstrated that adults at daily activity centres performed lowerscores than adults without disabilities. The group generally didn?t differ fromthe children, but they made a smaller proportion of phonologicallyacceptable misspellings and achieved lower scores on nonword repetitionand Rapid Automatized Naming, which could indicate limitations inphonological processing ability.

This master?s thesis investigates the contextualized relation between a reader and a text, in a non classroom-oriented situation. I am studying the questions of (a) in what way a persons education, personal experiences and opinions, and (b) how the text; its design (language) and message, holds a function in ? and forms ? the reader-text relation. At the same time I am testing the theoretical framework of Louise Rosenblatt, for the purpose of finding an adequate method to analyze this relation.

According to a press release from the Swedish forest agency in May 2014, western Värmland has the worst regenerations of forest result in the whole of Sweden. The scarification frequency is low in the area. AB Hilmer Andersson want´s to know if the private forest owners want to scarify more than is done today. Good regeneration is important for private forest owners so they can have a long term forest management and economics of their forests. This academic study is done as an opinion poll. The purpose of the study is to see how big the interest of scarification among the private forest owner is.

Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att skapa hypoteser om vilken påverkan en internetbaserad återhämtningsfokuserad stressintervention kan ha på beteendemönster och generellt hälsotillstånd. 22 vuxna svenskar rekryterades initialt till studien. 15 individer valde att fullfölja hela interventionsprogrammet. Mätningar med internetbaserade frågeformulär genomfördes innan interventionens start och efter interventionens slut. De primära ändpunkterna för mätningarna utgjordes av beteendeförändringar (frekvens av återhämtningsbeteenden) och kliniska effekter (upplevelser av stress och återhämtning).

Children's language development is highly connected to the success of every school. Especially when it comes to the children learning reading and writing skills, regardless of what method the schools use in order to achieve this. An early intervention can facilitate the learning of reading comprehension. Reading aloud and playing with the language learning is the greatest gift we can give our children and students. Children learn how to use a book by turning the pages and see how the words and texts are structured.

The aim of this Master?s Thesis is to study readers and authors of Harry Potter fan fiction, in order to answer the question of why they read and write fan fiction about Harry Potter, and which factors determine what kind of fan fiction stories they read. The empirical material consists of three qualitative interviews with fan fiction readers and authors, and a textual analysis of four internet forums for discussions about Harry Potter and fan fiction. The theoretical background is based on reception theory and reader-response criticism. The results show, that commitment to, and interest in, the source material is an important reason as to why the participants of the study read and write Harry Potter fan fiction.

This essay aims to investigate how Swedish Public Libraries market their activities in video games for youths. It also highlights how the library, on the basis of the unique opportunities of the video game medium, can develop this marketing to build a relationship with youths. The empiric evidence is based on a survey of answers given by 30 librarians responsible for video game collections, and qualitative telephone interviews with three of them. The essay?s theoretical framework is based on Philip Kotler and his co-authors? marketing theory which consists of five stages: Marketing research, segmentation, marketing mix, implementation and development.

The purpose of this study is to examine how women?s reading of the Harry Potter books can be understood on the basis of gender theory and reader-response criticism. The empirical data is gathered through qualitative interviews with six female Harry Potter readers between the age of 21 and 35, and is analyzed through several theories regarding gender and reading. The results show that the readers are critical towards many aspects of the books, especially when it comes to the stereotyped depiction of women and men. The books are said to reproduce the gender dichotomy, the gender hierarchy and the heteronormativity in society.

This thesis explore women?s needs when reentering society after having served a sentence at the female prison Färingsö, outside Stockholm and whether those needs are being met in the reentry strategies that are being provided. Parallel to this the thesis also examines if there, based on nonconformity and gender theories, is a socially constructed representation of women maintained in the rehabilitation work.The method of this thesis applied semi-structured interviews and used snowball sampling to expand the network of informants to obtain the data necessary. Totally five interviews were carried out. Previous research has shown that women in prison have much more complex problems than men and that there is a need for reentry strategies that take gender in account.The results showed that in terms of being able to reenter back in society, women needed help to structure a previously chaotic life.

Vid kartläggning av personers förmåga efter stroke behövs mer än bedömning av förlust eller avvikelse i kroppsstruktur och kroppsfunktion. Arbetsterapeuter har således en viktig roll i strokerehabiliteringen genom att bedöma och behandla personer som har svårigheter att utföra aktiviteter. En bra bedömning är nödvändig för att förstå en person och personens behov. Bedömningen skapar förutsättning för beslutsfattande angående målsättning och strategier för intervention. Syftet med studien var att beskriva kliniskt verksamma arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av bedömningsprocessen för personer som nyligen insjuknat i stroke.

Background: The intention of this study was to clarify the patients perspective of what it means to suffer fiom documented restenosis after one or more Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). Aim: The aim of this qualitative study was to ascertain the patients experience of restenosis. Method: Nine patients were interviewed. They had undergone at least one PC1 and two had also undergone Coronary Arterio Bypass Grafting (CABG). Data collection and analysis were done simultaneously according to Grounded Theory methodology and were continued until new interviews provided no additional information, i.e saturation was met.

Fysisk aktivitet kan förebygga och minska åldersrelaterade fysiologiska och psykologiska förändringar. Effekterna av funktionell träning för äldre är dåligt studerat. I Sörmland pågår ett fallpreventionsprojekt som syftar till att halvera antalet höftfrakturer till år 2012. Studiens syfte var att undersöka om äldres balans, benstyrka och self-efficacy, en persons grad av självtillit att utföra en specifik aktivitet framgångsrikt, påverkades av att göra fem uppresningar från sittande till stående två gånger om dagen under fyra veckor. En intervention genomfördes med 23 deltagare på ett servicehus/äldreboende.
