This study aims to create an understanding of how employees relate to directives that come from a level above them in the hierarchy and is to be implemented in their working activities. This is studied by examining a case where a work group has tried to implement orders, given to them by the government and through a work group in the level above them in the organizations, concerning how employees working with child health care is to educate parents regarding the child convention. The method that have been use in this study is group interviews with 19 child health care nurses and the two main questions that are asked is why has it been difficult to implement the orders and how have the child health care nurses expressed their resistance to the changes, this since only five of the nurses had begun working with the child convention. The theories that have been used focus on how resistance towards change is expressed, organizational incapability and reluctance towards change, as well as how grass root bureaucrats relates to change. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that it is important to let the concerned parties participate from the beginning of the process, to minimize their reluctance to the changing process.

AbstractThe aim of my study has been to investigate which expectations students at The Hotel and Restaurant Programme have for their futue working life and labour market. I want to investigate if these expectations are important factors that female dominance is large within the meal service sector. I have chosen to do qualitative interviews to discover these expectations.Some explanations that the respondent give for the gender differences within the restaurant and meal service sectors are the old tradition of male and female work. Furthermore the possibility of becoming well known within the market and the possibility for personal development in this market are described as important factors.The answers to my questions show that all respondents are positive to future work markets; also they all want to work within the restaurant sector and not in the meal service sector. The reasons for their choice cannot give a complete explanation to why female dominance is so big within the meal service sector.Keywords: Gender, status and celebrity-hood..

Abstract"Citizen Influence, Forms and Effects - A study of the Resistance Concerning the Establishment of a Juvenile Detention Center in Kristinehamn 2005-2007"Political Science, Johan Utter This essay circles around the concepts of citizenship and the questions if and how citizens in the modern democracy can influence and effect the political decisions made by the governing body on the local level. This is done by the means of a case-study concerning the establishment of an institutional facility for convicted youths in Kristinehamn. The planning of this facility and especially its planned location in Sunneberg aroused a significant negative response from the citizens, demanding a better alternative for the location.The proposition resulted in heavy protests from the citizens as the planned location was viewed as an important recreation area, where the citizens could experience nature first hand, close to the centre of town. As a result, some citizens living close to the planned location, formed a network called "Bevara Sunneberg", whose purpose was to influence the decision-makers and make the citizen?s voices heard.

This study analyzes the court of appeals work on judging immediate care (6 § LVU) by the child´s best from 10 court cases. This study has been reviewing 10 court cases and reviewing the court of appeals applicable laws in their decisions on interlocutory order within LVU. The material than have been analyzed consists of immediate care of children, and the concept of the best interests derived from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.The legal sanctions includes when a state signs a convention, which Sweden has. This means that Sweden is at their disposal to offer all children within its territorial limits, up to 18 years may take part of the rights set down in the Convention of the Rights of the Child. This means that all decisions relating to the individual child, should always be taken with respect to the best interest of the child, when a child for varoius reasons end up in a lawsiut.The concept of the best interest of the child are vague and abstract because it is not clearly defined.

När vi utövar idrott finns det givetvis mer eller mindre passande tider för detta. Med tanke på hur vår övriga dag kan se ut med arbete, skola, familj med mera, kan tidpunkten vara oerhört central för vår möjlighet att utöva idrott. Det kan faktiskt vara direkt avgörande för om vi överhuvudtaget har möjlighet att medverka på träningen, men det kan också vara en påverkande faktor angående motivationen att träna. Problematiken som ofta upplevs i samband med detta är dock att alla inte kan träna på de tider de helst skulle vilja eftersom det finns fler lag på samma anläggning som också skall träna. En fråga som då ofta uppstår är, vem som ska träna på vilka tider?  Den här uppsatsen behandlar en specifik miljö, en isstadion där fem bandyföreningar huserar tillsammans med en skridskoförening.

Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning studerande kvinnor 20-25 år vid Högskolan i Halmstad baserar sin klädkonsumtion utifrån de modetrender som dagligen visas i media. Metod: Enkätundersökning som genomförts med ett slumpmässigt urval av studiens målgrupp, studerande kvinnor 20-25 år, kvalitativ djupintervju som genomförts med en respondent från målgruppen. Samt två kvalitativa telefonintervjuer som genomförts med två chefredaktörer inom mediebranschen.Resultat: Samtliga av studiens kvalitativa intervjuer visar att en tydlig samverkan mellan skribenter för modebloggar, medie- och modeföretag samt konsumenter existerar. Detta samtidigt som studiens målgrupp inte finner sig påtagligt påverkbara vad gäller deras val och konsumtion av kläder från medias dagliga rapporteringar kring mode. .

AIMThis thesis purpose is to fill a knowledge gap of research into football-related violence and media. The objective is to create an understanding of how football-related violence is portrayed in the Swedish tabloids Aftonbladet and Expressen.METHODTo reach the desideratum we used a qualitative content analysis of 198 articles concerning football-related violence. To analyse the results we used theories regarding ?Framing?, ?the three ?I?s and the ?Stigma-theory?.MAIN RESULTSThe result from the initial analysis showed a heavy reliance on ?frames? by media outlets. This tended to make the news seem more sensational, dramatized and subsequently more readable than it otherwise would have been.

There are plenty of exciting changes being developed in Tre Högar´s Park, which is located in the district of Linero, eastern Lund. A project group representing Linero If, Lugi Tennis and Linero/Östra Torn Health centre, has been created and is responsible for managing a development project of the Park. Their main focus is to create sports, exercise, health-promotion, health-care, recreation and rehabilitation facilities. They view the park area as having great potential and will transform it into a purpose built park for Health and Exercise. There are various authorities involved with and engaged in the scheme; aside from the project group, the municipality of Lund, The sport association of the handicapped and local schools are being consulted.

The price of farmland has risen sharply in the last 20 years. This has led to discussions about what creates the value of farmland. The aim in this study was to try and find what factors are affecting the price on farmland. The area that is studied is the counties around Mälardalen during the period 2005 to 2009.The method chosen to achieve the objective is the hedonic price model. The variables are chosen after a preliminary study where a literature search has been made and a number of interviews with people in the industry.

Purpose/Aim: The aim of this thesis was to study the construction of gender and to compare Media?s portrayal of male and female athletes.Material/Method: 140 articles covering seven famous Swedish male and female athletes were selected from two Swedish newspapers (Aftonbladet and Expressen). The articles has been analysed within the frames of Norman Faircloughs Critical Discourse Analysis.Main results: Male athletes are often described in powerful ways and are framed as being strong and successful. Skills and strengths of women athletes are often devalued in comparison to standards of hegemonic masculinity and self-control. They are often framed as women and girlfriends in advantage of the fact that they are athletes..

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilka uppfattningar lärare har av kommunikationsförmågans innebörd och betydelse i matematik på lågstadienivå i relation till hur undervisningen utformas. Tidigare forskning kring lärares uppfattningar av elevernas kommunikationsförmåga tycks saknas. Utifrån en kvalitativ metod med en fenomenografisk ansats har fem intervjuer genomförts med matematiklärare som undervisar i årskurs 3. Resultatet av analysen är tre beskrivningskategorier om lärarnas uppfattningar av elevers kommunikationsförmåga. Kategorierna är följande: Kommunikation är att diskutera tillsammans, kommunikation är att förklara sin tankegång och kommunikation är att resonera fram en lösning.

Ända sedan införandet av de svenska ränteavdragsbegränsningarna, som kan leda till nekat avdrag för räntekostnader inom intressegemenskapen beroende på mottagarens skattesituation och syftet bakom transaktionen, har reglernas förenlighet med EU-rättens etableringsfrihet varit ett omdiskuterat ämne. Arbetsplatsvåld är ett vanligt fenomen i Sverige idag, ändå finns det en stor kunskapslucka i hur förebyggande säkerhetsåtgärder och strategierhar avsedd verkan då det handlar om att utbilda anställda i att motverka och hantera situationer som innefattar hot och våld på arbetsplatsen. I denna studie har det genomförts en utvärdering av en utbildningsinsats vid ett av Sveriges universitet. Målet med utbildningen var att öka de medverkandes säkerhet och upplevda trygghet vid arbetsplatsen. Syftet med utvärderingen var att undersöka om utbildningsmålet uppnåddes,och förstå vad resultatet berodde på. För att samla in data till studien, har det genomförts kvalitativa intervjuer med fem respondenter.

Changes in the climate and the environment are largely consequences of human influences. Resources are given to teach adults about the environment. However, there are problems in focusing on adults because it is difficult to influence people when they already have created a lifestyle. We have instead chosen to focus on teaching children about changes in the climate and the consequences of this.Many of the toys available on the market today encourage children to consume. Luxury cars and dolls with hundreds of accessories are often made of materials that has have a negative effect on the environment.Another problem we often encountered during the year is the declining interest in technology and science.

Within the fields of business as well as the academic, there is a growing interest for the role images play in an organized conception of the world. This paper acknowledges the relevance of such images and ideas, and its purpose is to examine the fixed ideas and conceptions of the world as they appear in a Swedish organizational context. The Swedish Trade Council is a hybrid organization between the state and private sector with an outspoken purpose of defining an image of the outside world for small and medium size enterprises in Sweden. The underlying question in focus for this study is: What central conceptions of the world appear in the Swedish Trade Council?s information films ?Världens möjligheter?? Within organizational studies, a postcolonial theory has to a large extent been overlooked.
