Mentala modeller består av deklarativ och procedurell kunskap. Vad har dessa kunskaper för effekt på varann? Fitts och Posner (1967 enligt Rasmussen, 1991) presenterar en teori som beskriver en utveckling om hur en färdighet utvecklas. Enligt denna teori föregår deklarativ kunskap procedurell kunskap. Av resonemanget: hur kan barn rent intuitivt veta hur de ska göra? bildas en hypotes som ska ge svar på frågeställningen: är deklarativ kunskap alltid en förutsättning för den procedurella?Ett experiment utfördes med två oberoende grupper.

AbstractThis study aims to investigate the applicability of well-recognized supply chain strategies based on product characteristics. Choosing the right supply chain strategy can be the difference between winner and loser in today?s competitive climate and science offers several recommendations as to which aspects that should be considered. Fisher (1997) and Christopher and Towill (2002) suggest that supply chain strategies should be based on what kind of product the company is handling and that, in order to know which strategy is the most appropriate, the products must be categorized. Some criteria developed for the categorization are lead time, forecast in demand and profit margin.

Background: Traditional oral health education is seldom enough in order for dental care personnel to motivate their patients to good, long-lasting oral health care habits and there is a need for evaluation of other more efficient methods. One of these methods is motivational interviewing. An overview of its origin, definition, theoretical background and practical methods is given by way of introduction. Aim: The aim of the investigation was to review studies that had used motivational interviewing in order to obtain oral health, focusing on prevention and treatment of gingivitis, periodontitis and dental caries. Method: Systematic review. A search question was run through the databases ASSIA, ERIC, PsycINFO, Social Services Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts and PubMed. The articles were reviewed based on defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: Five publications (based on three studies) met the inclusion criteria.

The Swedish public procurement correspond to approximately 400 milliard Swedish crowns every year which corresponds to about a fourth of the Swedish Gross National Product. Setting proper demands in the procurement is a useful tool to drive the development towards more environmentally adapted products and provisions. The Act on Public Procurement (Lagen om offentlig upphandling, 1992:1528) gives the municipalities opportunities to consider environmental properties during the procurement. This combined literature and empirical study investigates the experiences made by the three municipalities Ludvika, Borlänge and Smedjebacken during the process of certifying their school kitchens as organic in cooperation with KRAV. The main conclusion is that without compassion and curiosity for developing a green public procurement changes can be hard to implement.

The Veiled Party: A Discourse Analysis of Sweden Democratic Texts aims to further the understanding of the underlying ideology of the Sweden Democratic party, by revealing whether or not there is any ideological content that include race, racialization, and racism in the party?s political texts. The study offers a background description of the discursive change in the social and political climate of debate in Sweden, which opened a policy window for xenophobic agenda setting. In addition, the study delivers a presentation of the public debate regarding the Sweden Democrats, as well as statements by party representatives.Through a social constructionist and discourse analytic framework, the study aims at understanding how the application of racial ideas are done and mapped. The core of the theoretical framework is a critical race and whiteness theoretical approach.

Det här examensarbetet undersöker tidigare teoribildning inom Tv-spelsforskningen och i synnerhet kring Tv-spelets berättande. Eftersom forskning inom Tv-spelsområdet är relativt nytt är också själva teorierna under konstruktion vilket leder till att en del antaganden kan diskuteras. Därför granskar och diskuterar jag i den här uppsatsen de teorier och teoretiker som menar att film och litteraturteorier inte bör användas inom Tv-spelsforskning och att det inte är intressant att analysera spelets berättande. Teoribildningen som gör detta kallas ludologi och driver en tes om att Tv-spel i egenskap av nytt medium istället bör undersökas mer funktionellt.            Den här uppsatsen diskuterar hur ludologerna argumenterat i sin framställning av denna tes och huruvida det är konstruktivt att smala av forskning genom att utesluta teorier från andra forskningsfält. Detta görs med hjälp av ett huvudspelexempel i form av Bastion (SuperGiant Games, 2010) som rent funktionellt är ett relativt enkelt spel, men som samtidigt har ett speciellt sätt att berätta på.

The study?s aim was to examine reading ability in secondary school students. The participants; 30 grade 7 students (13 years old) and 30 grade 8 students (14 years old) without literacy problems, and eleven grade 8 students whom either had documented literacy problems or received special education for it, were selected through convenience sample. Text comprehension was tested by three texts which are called the Skobigotexts. Three reading settings were applied: listening, silent reading and silent reading with textsupport.

Det är viktigt att alla kan känna sig fria att använda den fysiska miljön. För det krävs bl.a. en god tillgänglighet. År 2001 antog riksdagen en nationell handlingsplan för handikappolitiken som ger riktlinjer om ökad tillgänglighet bl.a. ska enkelt avhjälpta hinder åtgärdas senast år 2010.

For over 40 years, there's been a debate in Sweden of whether it's good or bad with maintenance therapy for heroin addicts. This method is far more acknowledged in other parts of Europe and in USA. The aim of this paper was to explore how public actors manifest their thoughts concerning the subject of the substitution program in Sweden. This approach includes the complex of problems that can be found in statements and the discourses that these operators stand for and support. In my analysis the philosophical thread was principally based on Michael Foucault ideas, but also on other theories related to social constructionism.

Den här rapporten redogör för utvecklingen av ett designförslag till en CD-spelare. Uppdraget kommer från det relativt lilla handelsbolaget Transient Design i Alingsås, och går ut på att hjälpa företaget att ta fram ett designförslag på en CD-spelare i så kallad high end-klass. Fokus i projektet ligger på gränssnittet mellan användaren och produkten, samt formgivning av chassi och CD-lucka. Rapporten inleds med en förstudie som bjuder på en kort introduktion till hifi, identifiering av målgruppen och dess krav och önskemål på en CD-spelare. Vidare studeras tekniker för framförallt design av visuella gränssnitt och metoder för insamling av data samt kreativitetsstimulerande metoder.

 Denna uppsats handlar om två tidningars skildring av rapporteringen vid Ivar Kreugers självmord och tiden däromkring, mars och april 1932. Artiklarna har utsatts för en komparativ analys för att likheter och skillnader i innehållet skall tas fram. Genom denna analys syftar uppsatsen att undersöka skillnader på en beroende och en obunden källa i det historiska materialet. Uppsatsens resultat ger en tydlig bild av skillnader och likheter i de båda tidningarnas innehåll. Vidare framkommer det hur en obunden och en beroende källa väljer att spegla olika nyheter, vinkla dem på olika sätt rent språkligt och förbise andra.

This is the end report of my final exam at Medieteknik. It covers the planning, work process and review of a Flash based web application that I set out to do. The goal was to create a user friendly, interactive e-shop with embedded functionality for playing music, displaying rich media content and researching possible payment solutions, to enable buying music files online. The project involved creating the user interface, the programmatic functionality of a Flash client (an SWF file). Also, setting up an Apache HTTP Server and establishing a working ?bridge? between the Flash client and the web server with Flash Remoting components and AMFPHP.

This study investigates and analyzes experiences of discrimination and racism among social work students, focusing on how these issues occur between peers rather than through hierarchical dynamics, such as interactions with faculty. The research aims to shed light on the academic challenges faced by students with foreign backgrounds, as defined by Statistics Sweden (SCB), particularly those who experience discriminatory practices and behaviors within the academic environment. The study adopts a qualitative methodology, utilizing semi-structured interviews to explore the lived experiences of these students. Participants were selected based on their enrollment in social work programs and their identification as having a foreign background. Data was analyzed thematically to uncover recurring patterns and insights into the participants' experiences.

The public sector is a major purchaser of goods and services. By setting requirements for environmental and social considerations in public procurement, an authority has the possibility to use consumer power to influence the actors in a market. The purpose of this paper is to investigate public procurement of textile products in a municipality, in order to gain knowledge about factors that may be important for the use of environmental and social criteria. Håkan Hydén´s (professor in sociology of law) norm model was used as the basis of the analysis, where the conduct was investigated along three dimensions of the norm ? willingness, knowledge and system conditions ? in order to identify underlying factors that can influence the process.The results ? analyzed by using interviews and documents ? show that the procurer's willingness, motivation and knowledge are important factors in this context, as well as the political priority of the municipality.

Att genom rent gåvobistånd skapa en fördelaktig, långsiktig effekt förblir en öppen fråga och det är en grov förenkling att samla nationer, kulturer och religioner och anta att alla människor som är i behov av hjälp har identiska anspråk, vilka kan besvaras endast med hjälp av biståndet. Biståndsorganisationer spenderar mycket resurser på att finna en enskild optimal lösning där biståndet ska lansera starten till en självförsörjande tillväxt. Det finns ingen sådan lösning. Istället måste hjälpen anpassas till mottagaren för att på sikt göra mest nytta.Länderna befinner sig i olika delar av ett behovsspektrum där vissa nationer inte är tillräckligt fattiga för att prioriteras för rent gåvobistånd, men inte heller är starka nog för att ha en möjlighet att konkurrera på marknadsmässiga villkor, i dessa länder kan man hantera problemen och arbeta för förbättringar med hjälp av garantiverksamheten inom biståndsorganisationerna.Behovet av garantier grundar sig dels i diskussionen om att uppnå ett mer effektivt hjälparbete men även i förekomsten av höga risker, vilka utgör hinder för att finansiärer skall motiveras till att göra investeringar i utvecklingsländerna. Företag vågar inte satsa sitt kapital på marknader där osäkerheten är alltför stor vilket gör att risken att få uppleva förlust fungerar som en avrådan till investeringar som är väsentligt avgörande för utvecklingslandets fortsatta utveckling.
